Great deal if you want to level up or farm rares.

Quest triggers are good if you can get a good amount of people to join. Other than triggers, collection file cooldown or Scratch, it can reduce the cooldown for gathering or feeding pets which is not really recommended since it coolsdown quick.

Another big bunch of quick questions:

1) Upgrading a 13 star weapon from +30 to +35 requires the EXACT SAME copy of the 13 star weapon, is this correct? Can it go any further than +35?

2) Are upgraded 13 star weapons bound TO YOUR CHARACTER, or TO YOUR ACCOUNT(which means all of your characters can use it by sharing it through the general storage)?

3) How are the drop rate for AIS 13 star weapons on XH yamato ship? I really want to get a fully upgraded Valkyrie A30 but the collection file has ended...

4) Since standing snipe is very annoying that it requires you to remain still(in air or on ground) for 1 second before it takes effect, and since that most of the time I'll be moving(e.g launcher always make you move, gunner PAs are also mostly mobile), would it make sense to also max out moving snipe?

5) Extended from Q4, since standing snipe doesn't take effect until 1 second after you stop moving, does this mean that there will be a 1 second cool down between the moment you stop moving(moving snipe stops taking effect) and until the moment standing snipe takes effect?

6) It seems "PP save bullet", which reduces your PP usage to 80%(at level 10) when you have a special bullet loaded, this seems very useful for bossing, should this skill take priority over moving snipe...?

7) How do I craft units to get the +10 pp or 100hp bonus? What do I have to prepare, and how much money will it cost for a full set of, e.g. Saiki?(although I'm not sure if Saiki is still worth getting, as 12 stars appear vastly superior due to the face that you can add multiple skill rings to them)

I can answer the first three, but many of the other seem class specific, and the only class I've ever really played thoroughly is Fi/Hu, so I'll leave those to more knowledgeable people.

1) Same weapon is necessary, attribute doesn't matter, maxes out at 35. They also added a new thing where weapons can drop with 31-35 already unlocked, still have to grind to that though, and CF weapons don't count for this.

2) Account bound, I do all my 13* grinding and CFs on my main, including gear for my alt character, anything bound to you is usually shareable across characters on the same ship.

3) Not very good at figuring out drop rates so someone probably has a better answer, but it's been awhile since I got anything from Yamato, even with drop boosts, like all EQ drops, in the end it's just RNG, you're lucky or (more likely) you're not.

4) Could've swore Standing Snipe is 2 seconds not 1 but w/e not the point. If you are RA/XX and you don't have Standing Snipe you aren't a Ranger period. Ranger's damage comes from hitting weakpoints and being a sitting target, which is why subbing HU to get Massive Hunter is so common so you don't go flinch from every hit while charging attacks making Automate Halfline go hand-in-hand with Massive Hunter. Moving Snipe only gives a 5% while Standing can give 20% if you max both. Getting Moving is only good to give you a slight damage boost while you either wait for a good time to plant yourself again or wait for Massive Hunter to recharge.

5) The moment you move, while not using a PA like One Point, the timer will be set at 0 til you stand still then when 2 seconds pass, time is irrelevant the answer remains the same regardless of the actual time needed to elapse, you will get the damage bonus from Standing Snipe.

6) N really all that important since there are better ways to maintain PP such as using grenades and dodge roll shoot. Only good if nothing else to go for really.

7) You have to reach a certain point in the craft line to get that option, like EX 8. Then you can craft to get the +100 hp, +10 pp, added resistances, or the standard S, R, T-atk defense choices.

Enough of the item required, you mean scar stones? I should be able to farm about 10 with 3 characters and bonus keys every day, although I'm not sure if there are any other ways to get scar stones apart from client orders and bonus keys...

You only need 6 of the same weapon to unlock +35, you can use anything else to grind. The holiday EQ will likely drop weapons with Emper Embrace, use those to grind your 13* weapons, if you have the Lambda Grinders for it.

Basically, eachtime you use the same weapon as fodder, it boosts up the total possible grind by 1, so you just need your base weapon, and 5 more to unlock +35, you can use anything else to actually reach 35.

That's what you can use them for, find 12* weapons, get them to +30 with Emper Embrace, and then use those to grind the 13*. It depends on whether you want to save Lambda Grinders or Meseta, since 12* grinding may be more costly, but you'll only need to use a handful of Lambdas.

If you already have +30 fodders, use those instead, totally. Embrace just makes it easier if you don't already have that prepared.

They're the worst thing in the scratch next to Casino Coin passes but also one of the nicest items you can nab in the game purely because an Ex booster can be stacked on top of a regular booster.

Grind Skip items only work with Old Type weapons, unless they added skip items for NT without my knowledge, and yes, they are 100% success, you use the grinders you would for a single grind, but it will skip to 7.

I don't think you can remove the potential on a NT weapon. Old Types can be grinded to max without unlocking the potential, but not NT.

That's right, you have to max out the grind on a ring before adding it to a unit. Keep in mind not all rings gain anything effect-wise from grinding, some are just bonus stat gain, which doesn't carry over to units anyways.

The boost week we unlocked with the Panel Event starts December 14th I believe, so in a week. I usually buy materials for a boost week as far in advance as I can, I already have everything to affix all my Gix weapons, so I don't see the issue with doing that now for what you plan to do.

That's what i also think just that I want to make sure before I invest on making my HP leech weapon for solo XQ. As for the gamepad I just want a gamepad with more inputs specially after this game now have the 3button layout in addition to Weapon Action having its own dedicated button which makes a 12button gamepad not enough anymore and unfortunately the Razer Sabertooth is the only 1 I can find in my area.

Honestly, if it does come back, it probably won't be soon. I mean if you have the space in storage, you can save them, but you probably won't ever use them.

2) Running as many TDs as possible, honestly. Gold badge farming might be your best bet when they don't come up.

I've only tried it 3 times for the sake of trying it and every time the weapon came out with 5-6 slots and ~40 element. What's the "efficient" way to Grind 12* to be used as fodder for 13* when Emper Embrace fodder isn't heavily accessible?If you aren't SUPER tight on lambda grinders it might be more efficient to use all those 10* dio weapons that drop in like every EQ instead. While the maximum ammount of exp you get per weapon won't be as high as using 12*s, you'll probably only end up using 2 or 3 more lambda grinders, and it's WAY cheaper.
As nice as Emper Embrace is, the bonus for using the exact same weapon, or even just the same rarity is much higher, and most of the NT Dio weapons drop pre-grinded, increasing the bonus even more.
I actually don't think feeding 12*s with emper embrace to use as fodder is efficient in the first place, specifically because they lack the same weapon/rarity bonus when making fodders.

Food item are one time use, the recipe should be learned by the gathering achievements.

That would depends on the ring. If the ring Ability level doesn't increase the effect (things like AirReversal ..... KnuckleChase ...... TDAirChase), should be all right to just leave it at Lv1.
Since stat bonus from grinding the ring doesn't cross-over to unit. Just the Ability.

Higher base element,better abilities/more slots,and in the case of a Gix Talis I did a high grade appraisal on the other day,I had it at 34 grind cap when untekked meaning I only ever needed to collect one more for max cap.

Edit: Untekked something else and got 3 slots but all the abilities were high grade,so I assume the abilities are better but the slots can still be all over the place

You cannot add the Mutation I special ability to the 13* through grinding. You can only add the special ability through the "Add Abilities" function.

When you perform the "Add Abilities" function using the +35 Adelaide-NT as fodder for your 13*, Mutation I would appear on the list of abilities available for transfer at a 100% transfer rate. But note that this rate will be reduced below 100% if you try to increase the number of ability slots on the 13* during the process.

Basically, yes. The EQ won't show up anymore.

Unless it says "Necky Challenge Only", you can kill a Zeta in Lilipa UQ and it should complete.

Yeah, that's a bit off. Element is a multiplier for your weapon's attack (excluding affixes). So, if a weapon has 60 element, take its current attack minus affixes and multiply it by .60, that's how much attack you gain from the element. You get that boost whether the enemy is weak to that element or not. When an enemy is weak to that element, the elemental weakness multiplier effect that as well. So when you hit an enemy with a 1.2x light weakness with a 60 element light weapon, you functionally have a 72 element weapon. However this also works the other way with enemy resistances. So if you tried to attack Elder (who takes 0.1x damage from wind) with a 60 element wind weapon, it'd be like your weapon only had 6 element.

That's only for striking/ranged attacks of course. Techniques don't gain anything from element on your weapon unless you have the element convert skill from force.

Level 1 is 7% damage boost, with 1% of the damage dealt is regained as HP when you attack something weak to the weapon's element, or if it's weakness is Light or Lightning (regardless fo weapon's element I believe). Caps off at 50 HP at a time though.

Level 3 doesn't have it's damage boost listed anywhere, so I don't know it exactly, but the HP gain is 1% still.

Haven't played any Tech classes since Episode 1, so I can't really tell you if it's any good for Tech users or not. Someone else who knows about that better than me should probably share their opinion on it.

For pets, I forget exactly which pets were added since that long ago, but you might want to jump on the ultimate amduscea train before the CFs go away so you can get the evolved pets.

"Best in terms of damage" depends on what you're doing. Br is still a solid choice if you don't feel like dealing with Fi stances or chain trigger though. I also tend to use it in EQs with lots of mobs but constant boss spawns (Like christmas on ice).

Skill trees haven't changed much. Generally lowest ★１０NT weapons I believe, so look for 1st ★１０ NT weapons in JP wiki. Click the weapon to detail page, check if you see the status you need (just beside blue icon in table like this (http://pso2.swiki.jp/index.php?%E3%83%A9%E3%83%B3%E3%82%B0%E3%83%AA%E3% 83%83%E3%82%BF%E3%83%BC)).
★１０NT weapons with around 680 Requirement for stat (can be lower and non-Dio-type weapon)
Just make sure to check weapon detail page, so you're not getting the wrong weapon.

When the block counter was working (http://www.pso-world.com/forums/showthread.php?231319-Server-Ship-and-Block-Online-Counter&highlight=block), you could see that each block holds 180 players max (140 free and 40 premium spaces), and at the time, peak JP hours had ~3.5K players on Ship 2, with higher on other ships.

The elemental bonus is a percent of the weapons damage, not including affixes or anything else. only that bonus damage is affected by elemental weaknesses. For example if you're using a weapon with 1000 atk, the bonus from 50% element is another 500 atk. Most enemies have ~20-30% element weaknesses iirc, so yeah that would be around an extra 100-150 atk.

For techs it's the full damage of the tech, but it's honestly not important unless you're playing a class that gets bonuses for hitting element weaknesses, from something like element stance, or element weakhit, and if you are, you should be aiming for rainbow sets anyway.

Make sure you are checking the second half of those videos since they tend to show the male version first, then the female. For example, this video at ~1:15 (https://youtu.be/h1l23HvDWJM?t=1m15s) (specifically between 1:18 and 1:19) looks to be the right moves, just at a different viewing angle.

gdinoia: That depends on the main classes that you wish to play, and your play style. Hunter is the most suitable subclass for most melee and ranged classes, so if you really need a "meta" build the first thing you need is to get JA bonus and Fury stance in the hunter tree, however ignore Fury stance critical as critical has very limited use in PSO2.

Yes, the recipes unlock at level 20. The extra PP is lost when you extend to the next level, then you can reapply at EX8 and EX10.

If it is for the XMas sheets, the only way to fill that is by running the EQ. Just make sure you have a 250% RDR booster, and any Tribooster.

For the tact, the easiest thing to do for that gummy is switch to Summoner and run the first ARKS quest. Stamina Gummies are a super common Summoner drop. Otherwise, yeah AQ or run whatever LQ featured quest is up.

Basically what is does is give you additional PP per hit of a non-PA or Tech as long as elemental weaknesses match. For a Force, this means hitting with the thrown Talis, a Rod melee attack, or a Rod shot.

So before I go to the Tokyo exploration level, I have my team rare boost rate is which is at 6%. daily tri boost at 30%, 100% rare boost rate, and another tri boost 100%. I even had about 6 runs through this place about 6 times, and still having no luck. can anybody tell me what im doing wrong? i'm collecting those Phantom stones but its just taking soooo long, Thanks. Tokyo bonus quest offers kagaseo stones in bulk 7ish silver/15ish from gold (I'm probably wrong on the numbers but you get more out of gold obviously,but still quite a few),you get these keys from featured as you'd know.
Valkyries were a pretty common drop in the yamato EQ too,so I'd just hope one of those would pop up.
Some people get them in riding quest but I've never encountered it and RQ is dead most of the day.

I think mobs often drop the stones in the vegas area too.
Edit: Theres CO's from Franka (I think reset once per week) and Hanz that can be done per character and reset each day which might help a lot.

If you want to go for the chance of actually getting the weapon itself as a drop, I would recommend running the ARKS Quest Subdue Train Gidhoran instead of the Free Exploration since it has set enemy spawns of a decent group of Zombies and a Tank.
As for the stones, they just are not that common to get as drops in a large quantity, even with a high RDR rate. If you aren't already, make sure you are taking Hans' Tokyo COs that give the stones and do all your Featured Quests for the chance of Tokyo Bonus Keys.

kthxIf you don't want to spend AC or stargems the best thing to do is do the gathering you don't care about first until you get a fever (I think you get fevers at 15 chains now instead of 25) then go to the one you want. Only use special tools when you have a fever since fevers not only increase the rate of rare stuff but also how many you get per gather.

Always check the stargem shop. The meseta section has the special tools, and stamina drinks sometimes. You can also buy 20 of them them a week with Casino coins.

If you have any of the stamina drinks ONLY use them when you're really desperate (Like trying to get an important new ring). Don't use them to completely fill your stamina, just use one 50 or 2 20 stamina ones each time you run out until you get what you want or the fever runs out.

I would say to check what food boosts the rate of what you're looking for but that can be a pain.

Also, what agent falco said. Use all your characters. (o 3o)b

So long its not annoying stuff and is relevant to MPA stuff (such as E-trial stuff) than they shouldn't be bothered.

They can't prove you're using English patch but simply speaking english.


And like Falco said don't abuse all chat auto words it gets annoying after awhile.

Having all chat for E- Trial Warnings is usually fine since its helpful anything else leave that to party (if you really need to)

I'm using 3 button type in controller, its rather convenient IMO, I don't have to combo in order to spam a PA, also I don't have to waste a slot just to fill it with 3 same PAs to spam it, really helpful for me

You can choose what attack to do and when to do it without flipping weapon palettes or having to do other attacks to get to the attack you want to do.
At first its a little odd to adjust to but you'll see it as a god send later on.

If you don't mind me asking how.did you adjust to the button lay out change?

Before my LT was sub palette while L3 was auto run.
Due to then change LT is now the 2nd set of PA and L3 isnto select stuff on sub palette...considering my.LB was lock on the new way is.messing me up big time lol

I don't really use the 3-Button system to it's full advantage, though. I have PA switch to click rather than hold, and on both palettes I have X as Normal Attack, and, for weapons that have them, RB as Weapon Action, so basically it is like having 12 single-PA-spam weapons in the 2-Button system.
However, I also have a knock-off chat pad attached to my controller for my less used functions (like auto-run or TPS switch) and for my subpalette (I only use the LT for quick healing), so it kinda makes up for the lack of buttons on the controller.

I completely forgot they recently added the option to have a dedicated Weapon Action button; I'm going to have to go give that a try.

EDIT: I just did a quick test. I put Weapon Action on LT and Subpalette action on R3, and it works like a dream; for now I'm going to stay on click and have X be my normal attack on both palettes, but it is nice to have that extra PA slot now. Minimap is now just going to have to be a chat-pad only function for me.

Hey guys, I hope I'm posting in the right section; will the CO reset item work for emilia and vivienne COs too or limited COs can't be reset before their cooldown time?
I checked psowiki but I understood daily orders can't be reset but I can't get a decent translation for the other kind of CO that doesn't reset.

You'd probably be able to reset their CO but you wont get the weapon.
The weapon always has a 2 day cooldown,so you might reset,redo and get nothing.

Assuming this since doing the CO on another char before the refresh date for the weapon yields you with nothing.

Two part question, can the bosses in the current Christmas EQ drop their special weapons like Zeta Guranz with Vlad Bram? Noticed it had the same prefix as it did during Halloween.
Also, is it possible to get Halloween 2016 triggers from the star gem shop? My collection sheet has been stuck since that EQ ended.

Mainly asking cause I just need one more Vlad Bram to +35 mine and I'm hoping at least one of those options are viable.

I got a +35 60 element wind philodemos.

Now my big question is what the bloody hell do I do with it?
I have two astral blazes, one wind,one light.both +35 with god affix thanks to special untekk.
I was gonna get astras to fill ice and fire and I can get an austere lightening if need be (Plus like a billion ares dual blades) I'm just.

The philodemos base stats are so bad,should I just use it for affix fodder or something?

For the tact, the easiest thing to do for that gummy is switch to Summoner and run the first ARKS quest. Stamina Gummies are a super common Summoner drop. Otherwise, yeah AQ or run whatever LQ featured quest is up.

How many runs do I need as SU? Got from Lv1 to Lv15, sheet is almost full but still no stamina gummy.

Okay, that makes more sense. Yes I've cleared the old extreme quests a long time ago. Just been about 2-3 months since I've played. Thanks for the info.
