Raise it's D step advance skill to level 5 or 6, it's pretty darn cheap and give you some more invicibility frame during step.

Menu-> Open Equipment (second option from the left) -> Fashion / Catalog (third option from the top) -> Fashion Catalog (second option from the top) -> View Everyone's Fashion (first option at the top); from there, just pick one of the three sorting options (Date&Time / Like! / Views) and it will complete the square.
Once you get to the reverse side of the Bingo, you need to send a Like! in the Fashion Catalog; just do the same thing, but then pick one of the characters that pops up, hit the button that you will default to, and then select one of the premade messages to send as a Like!.

Currently Enchanted Forest is your best bet ( got a 2nd epd from there recently). The 14* drops on Vardha EQ / Maggy EQ are super low , although they do drop epd. But like maybe 50 so far this week for example in the mega mecha EQ, while EF has EPD still at over 1000 dropped this week, despite how much less it’s being played.

Been trying to set up a zodiac layered outerwear on top of a baseware, but for some reason, the armor of the layered wear always changed to red by default when equipping rolf remodel leaf basewear. I have tried using a color change pass but it only alters the cape's and accessories colors. Is this a bug or intended?

The armor portion of the Zodiac [Ou] always changes to the secondary color of the base wear, which in the case of the Rolf Leaf is red. There is no way to change it.

Yes, a lot of techs can be crafted to charge faster, but that wasn't my question. Look at 0:55 seconds, the enemy's attack lasted for over 1 second and the player did not get any damage just by charging during that entire time.

Not sure what attack you're refering to. The attack before, he was still inside the invuln window of the step; the attack after, he re-casts just before the attack tick hits, and there are no more ticks to get hit by.

That was perfectly within the guard window. It's a single hit attack. The player immediately started charging ilgrants after that grants for the guard frame that blocked the stalagmite attack.

When you say single attack, do you mean that it can only hit you once or that only 1 part of the attack can hurt you regardless of the animation?

that attack only hits once. as long as you are not moving when the ground's tell shows up, you can block/parry it. if you move forward even a pixel, the guard will fail.

Next time, check for the party's indicated playstyle. Some people just like to take it easy and have fun at their own pace. That's not a reason to report others.

A Japanese IP adresse and I'm guessing non-random valid information in the postal address that you registered your account with.

Your player name doesn't mean anything if they can see if you're connecting from overseas. Even if you're japanese staying overseas or can speak japanese fluently if you connect to the game server from outside of glorious land of samurai, they have right to not provide you any support (or just outright ban your ID). It's okay as long as whoever handling your report ticket decide to not care though.

You can report player through character menu accessible from nearby character menu or by selecting their character with mouse cursor to bring up the menu, report button is under "others" if you set character menu display setting to "display as categories".
Personally i think it's partially your own fault though, should have never joined a random party for an EQ where you want to do stuff as fast as possible.

Is it worth trying to grind out the 900 total medals for a full Ray set of units from the 2018 medal shop, and then grabbing a single +35 Ray weapon for my character?

Edit: Also, what would be the best way to grind them out? I know the Driving Rain quest drops a bunch, but not sure what other means are in-game right now to grind them out in anywhere near as efficient a manner.

if you're referring to the % dmg increase you'll get by affixing your epd, then it's your total attack in the stat menu. so if for example you had 4500 with 0s epd and 4800 after, then it would be a (4800-4500)/4500*100 increase (6.67%).

I think I have saved the screenshot from that, I'll check it when I get home. Noone trusted the rest that they'd let them collect everything before resetting. Ray is pretty good and Union (upgraded ray) is slightly better, but you may need additional medals to buy the triggers.
For weapon, FYI upcoming LQ will have new *13 and it'll be upgradeable to *14s though current bingo has certificate that can be exchanged to 1 +30 ray weapon type of your own choice, which can be repurposed to astral soul fodder later.
And also you can get free *14 Atra by grinding Val series to +35, you'll get an item that can be used to upgrade you val into Atra, you probably want to consult to wiki to see the weapon lineup yourself.

You get the spread attack when you use a normal attack, a dive roll attack, or a special bullet shot (Weak and Bind), but not to any PA. As to the range that the damage portion of the Pot activates, here is a post that shows it relative to where Standing Snipe also activates:

You're really better off just investing in a Atra Rifle, the S4 makes standing snipe a lot more reliable while the Needle will just give you headache, especially in EQ's like Dragon where you constantly need to Reposition yourself and being as far as possible is more beneficial than being just the right distance for 2 abilities to proc.

Gunner doesn't have to deal with stuff like SS (not even Gu/Ra) so the Needle is much better on that Class.
Essentially, Spread Needle is more of a mid- to close-range weapon, and since the spread attack goes out from a single point into a wide spread, it does good single-target zero-range damage.

You get the spread attack when you use a normal attack, a dive roll attack, or a special bullet shot (Weak and Bind), but not to any PA. As to the range that the damage portion of the Pot activates, here is a post that shows it relative to where Standing Snipe also activates:

You're really better off just investing in a Atra Rifle, the S4 makes standing snipe a lot more reliable while the Needle will just give you headache, especially in EQ's like Dragon where you constantly need to Reposition yourself and being as far as possible is more beneficial than being just the right distance for 2 abilities to proc.

Gunner doesn't have to deal with stuff like SS (not even Gu/Ra so the Needle is much better on that Class.[/SPOILER-BOX]

Essentially, Spread Needle is more of a mid- to close-range weapon, and since the spread attack goes out from a single point into a wide spread, it does good single-target zero-range damage.

From what I know, Sharp Shooter activation range is about 1 diveroll. I don't have Spread Needle, but Swiki said the needle shot has 3 diveroll range. Well I guess 3 diveroll range still kinda short range.

Edit: Ah now I kinda see what happen. Swiki do put a notice that 10% damage boost is applied up to 2.5 diveroll range. So pretty much only have 1.5 diveroll left for both Sharp Shooter & Spread Needle's potential.

okay i was confused what the hell was being referred to, had to read back 2 pages.

SAF on usage is 100% always. after that, they can only be transferred like a regular affix if possible, so astral soul, even SAF, can only be transferred using soul receptor at 10% base, sentence triple using sentence receptor, etc. the exception is of course SSA which are always 100%.

I believe the quests with the highest meseta drop amount are XQs (and you would want to pop a Meseta Booster when running them), but the spammability of those are limited to which 5 floors you pick (more small enemies [more smaller individual meseta drops], or more bosses [less but larger meseta drops]), how fast you can complete them, and the number of Extreme Passes you have. Also, don't forget to do your DOs, as some of the ones that pop up can give decent meseta payout (like the one that gives 250k for killing a VH Bal Rodos).

XQ with meseta booster is great, the stages with many enemies especially. You can even sell the grinders you got from running the stages as well for extra money.


SAF isn't 100% on upslot.
Maybe he was referring on how SAF will stay there as long as it's original weapon exist even if you failing the upslotting process, not really sure myself since i never have guts to risk it for a test.

The upslot does indeed have an impact on the rate for SAF abilities, but if the affix fails you can always "reuse" it since it's innate to the weapon.
That's how I made my Astral 7 slots fodder. (I'm waiting to get another quliphad talis to get that sweet +35 and actually do the affixing)

As for meseta quests, I have no idea if endless quest is really indicated but XQ floors 27 and 47 of the ruins and seabed tower have quite a bit of enemies. Also XQ floor 31 of Forest and Dragon. If you ever get a 50% meseta ticket from the dailies, I recommend those.

Normal XH Magatsu has about 65million HP according to the swiki, so the boosted should have somewhere around 200million HP, give or take a few million.

HuFi has the problem that it needs to actually connect to Magatsu.
I'm actually genuinely not remembering what I do to hit those knees. Kaiser Rise with wired lance, I think, but I'm sure there must be an appropriate PA with other weapons. Sacred Skewer and...

Anyway. Once both knees are out you can reach targets with just about any weapon and any PA thanks to the bonus in mobility that you are granted.
The real game changer is wheter you succeed in the different emergency codes or not, as Magatsu will move on faster everytime you miss one of those.

Most of my logs put him right around 278~ million HP, with the fights ranging from 5:44 - 6:43 in expert mpas.

-cleaning inside my laptop from dust
-only play PSO2 and programs related to it, not running on other program except background program
-using tier 1 and compressed texture, low shader.

Wouldn't recommend using those program that can "clean" your RAM, majority of them is bloat by itself.
Are you sure that your internet connection is fine? Even my Intel Atom netbook didn't have that kind of problem, aside from abysmal load time & garbage framerate that is.
After all, if your game client can't properly communicate with the server no matter how low your game graphic settings it'll stay the same.

Before reinstalling OS, do the usual drill: full driver and software update, full offline disk checkup (chkdsk c: /v /x /b), check system integrity (sfc /scannow).
Check to see if your antivirus has a Game Mode, and if it is properly enabled.
Finally (since you mentioned laptop), check to see that your laptop properly renders the game through the dedicated card instead of the motherboard/cpu integrated one.

I thought it was happening because I was just trying to join the LQ, but it happened for Profound Invasion too. I was also trying to join in the same block, and I didn't have expert checked either. youre literally better off not getting Akatsuki and using a different sword anyways, having to JG to get the max damage before your dps coming is kinda dumb. Use the new Shien series if you have to. As for 14* WL's, you should be doing Wind and Rain EQ still since it drops it (unless that EQ is gone now)

It all depends on what Mag you have and whether or not you are maining Bo.

You're right, I forgot that the JB TAJA Ring makes cycling Techs in for damage on classes that have Tech multipliers much easier thanks to their reduced charge time.

My problem with Shien(SSA 3-3-3%) off element is that it's not stronger compared to Gix 20% and 2400 badges are a lot for me(1st WL and Sword after).


As for 14* WL's, you should be doing Wind and Rain EQ still since it drops it (unless that EQ is gone now)

it's essentially equal in power to the new shien JB assuming equivalent tier SSAs used. by far the best JB that exists except for when you would have break stance on. the only situation i see this issue coming up in the future would be the mother-deus EQ if the arms still spawn since break stance works on them.

Well, if you have Lavis your Normal attack DPS should be better than your PA DPS. The PA is still very useful uncharged for the few seconds hyper armor that it gives and preparing an attack when you know an enemy/Weakpoint will appear.

You're right, the Sprout is supposed to be new players with the Flower being returning, but like Dark Mits notes, it is bugged since you are seeing it in Expert XH, and I'm pretty sure that you don't have that many people who just recently started (less than 30 days maybe?) that are at that level.

I just wasted 150 mil buying the stuff to combine both but in the end only one works. I compared it and it's the exact same thing as orbit, tbh I cannot even see the 20% higher speed you'd expect cause the s2 is 100% compared to orbit's 80%.
I guess cause the game goes down the list it sees s1 at 80% first and that's why the s2 is completely ignored.

Next time you reply to something better make sure you actually know what you are talking about and don#t just post some bs you imagine might be right.

It stacks. Orbits 200% recovery means 5pp per second turn into 15pp per second. S1+S2 Combo should turn it from 5pp per second to 18pp per second.

Element matching is more of a bitch that it sounds. While most tech classes can easily circumvent this, the other ones don't like it so much. Shien is insane as far as raids and light only content goes, due to its high on-element multiplier and access to SSA slots 1-3, but the damage loss on mismatched element is "really noticeable (it becomes weaker than Val). Comparatively, Guren is weaker in optimal conditions due to its extra stats not compensating for its lack of SSA slots compared to Shien, but doesn't lose nearly as much power from mismatching element.
Basically, as far as melee/ranged weapons I'd go Shien as specific raid/light-heavy content weapon to compliment an already strong weapon, but if I needed a straight upgrade from a weaker weapon, I'd rather go Guren

Also consider that with the right SSAs, Shien can still outdo Guren's off-element multiplier; even with just S1: and S2: Offensive Intent, and S3: Vital Intent you get can get pretty close (~12.5%) (now of course, there is the question of whether or not you want to eschew any utility SSAs for the sake of doing so). There are the extra stats to consider, but the off-element gap isn't nearly as large as it seems from just looking at the potential's numbers because of that SSA access.

sadly no. Thankfully VH Forest isn't too challenging and the Diamos there melt even when solo so might help if you don't want to spend your time finding mpas

I have been doing VH Forest solo in my attempts (while EQs that I don't feel like running are on, otherwise it's just LQ), but RNGesus just seems to hate me; I literally ran around there for half-an-hour on one character and never got a single one to spawn (but plenty of Angels, Hunars, and zombie knights). Oh, well, I guess it is what it is.

Castle doesn't show up on VH, as milranduil said. VH has Ruins, Mothership, Corrupted Ruins, and Underground Temple as the end areas, and the random areas between are just Forest, Sanctum, Bal Rodos fight, City Dome, Facility, Quarry, Coast, Las Vegas, Tokyo, Ult Lillipa, Ult Amduscia, and Shironia. If Castle wasn't on XH only (most of the characters I still need it for are no where close to being able to even get to the first Interval Area on XH), I would have jumped on it.

Lazy Translation: user feedback. Players trying to multitask, basically trying to move their character and manipulate inventory at the same time found it very difficult to do so. So they removed it.

I understood differently.
Changing the off-element values of Element Conversion means that EPD's potential, boosting the effect of Element Conversion on off element by 200%, would make off-element techs way stronger that on-element techs.
The adjustement will probably mean that this 200% modifier on off-element techs will be lowered dramatically to even on and off element like now.

Besides, EPD's current boost to on-element is only of 15% so it's not as over the top as you think. Atra is competing nicely.
edit: to be clear: Atra is below, for sure but not as far off.

For EPD, they boost off-elements to match the weapon's element and then boost all elements by 25%. For Atra Rod, they just boost off-elements to match the weapon's element.

If they don't boost Atra Rod, the weapon becomes worthless, doubt they'll let that happen. For EPD, they could leave it as it is, but if they boost Atra, then both weapons will be even closer in power (Atra's Pot gives 10% already).

atra doesn't need a boost though because it already has a pot of 10% as you said and SSA slots. it already does more damage than EPD to begin with. EPD is the thing becoming worthless.

The affixes are implied by the notation. For Atra, "423" means 4% damage s1, 2% damage s2, and 3% damage s3. "120pw" implies the non-SSA affixes are like astral/ether/grace/weak.

"220pw" for EPD probably implies a 7s affix like astral/ether/mod/sentence triple/tech VI/weak/grace.

Hope that made you feel a little foolish and insecure. Anyway, you are correct, your Atra Rod does more output damage than your EDP. That being said, let me know if this scenario would work more to EPD's advantage:

-If I balance the elemental conversion part, so 45% Vs 30%, that leaves 15%. Minus 10% for Atra Rod's pot leaves 5%, minus 5% for S2 & S3 makes all of this even.

-Now, you have 4% more for S1, your S4 for EC Balance and 4 slots for T-ATK. The max you can get with 4 slots is 175 T-ATK.

-Now EPD on the other hand, you have a 155 more T-ATK from grinding it at +35 and you can also get 300 T-ATK with 8 slots.

-Next let's remove common T-ATK, so 455 minus 175 leaves us 280.

-Finally, the S1 at 4%, now let's say we take your formula from last month:

I think it's safe to say that that remaining 280 T-ATK is worth about 6% of damage, so minus 4%, that leaves more or less an extra 2% of extra damage for EPD, yes no?
