Katana Gear. Same would go for all weapons.

Once full, do a just counter and you'll glow purple with an attack and crit boost buff until the bar is drained out.

Don't max out Chain Trigger. Keep to 5 and invest into Chain Finish instead. I've never had an issue with PP on GU, so I don't run for PP restraint. Also, S Roll JA Bonus is the only one worth maxing in that tree.

HU tree is just as it should be.

GuRa has great burst damage with WB and CT, but it's damage isn't at great on areas that aren't considered weak points. GuHu is more consistent in DPS, but doesn't have the burst damage that GuRa does. If you actively try to go for weak points, GuRa is also great for mobbing.

GuRa = Greater Burst damage + WB is great for party
GuHu = More consistent damage

I personally like GuRa for it's burst damage and I'm generally the only person with a rifle in my party.



Extra question, I only have one skilltree for each class on one character. Can i use the skilltree reset pass? Reset Pass will reset all of your skill tree

That's pretty much it. Can't reset a tree without having another tree.

Sega has been giving out reset passes whenever they made changes to the skill trees.

Yeah it's either very good drops or very bad drops for me, but tbh rare pass only seems to increase drops like aq mats and such no caps cuz I'm almost always short and no rares cuz I'll sell them! XD

once super hard comes out in the same update new skills will come out and for that sega will give out players 1 all tree skill tree reset pass for each char you own, so if you have 2 chars you will get 2 passes: in other words, wait for 2-4 weeks to rectify w/e you've done wrong

One way to accumulate meseta ingame without having to spend AC is running time attack with klotho's client order (know as TACO and they are daily). There is 5 TA with a CO for each difficulty, but they are the only CO whose lower difficulty as to be done on that difficulty. Effectively meaning 15 runs if you want to do them all. Normal are 30-35k, Hard are 50-65k and VH are all 100k meseta each(500k for VH alone and almost 1mil for everything). VH would be difficult to do at your level, so I would recommend to party up (well, for all for faster run).

Otherwise, since you talked of spending AC on scratch and selling, then you got a shop already. Hope to get lucky with rare drops or good affix fooder (various soul, check their price if you wanna hunt for those) or power/shoot/tech/others III are in high demand from Advance Quest (AQ, lv45+, mostly 2+ affix on weapon and units). There is also Wind & Rain EQ this week, you might get lucky drops there, even if some stuff had their prices by drop a lot, it might pick back up later.

If you got some starting meseta, then learning pricing in shops is good, allowing you to buy lower and sell higher, especially when new AC scratch rotation happen where price will drop temporarily on stuffs.

Unless you have premium and rented more storage space through AC, it's the 200. The extra spaces are purchased for a limited use with premium giving you a 500 bonus space, IIRC.

Another thing, since I found a few Lambda Lacruico's, I've been wanting to play BR a lot. It's only lv. 28 and all I know is to do Kressida, Franka, Amelin, Hans, and Revelle CO's and 'try' to grind Quarry Ex.. However, on my ship for some reason in the filled hard block which is only one or two, people like grinding Desert Ex. and not Quarry Ex.? Is this due to the fact they are lower leveled and don't understand? I don't know.

I just know it's a pain in the ass to level a class to 40 so you can play with MPA who know what they're doing for once.

If anyone has any suggestions, please help.

If you're referring to partisan, what you're thinking of is a rare PA called assault buster, dropped by the rare version of snow banther. Very hard only.

... or you could buy it from player shops. Search for アサルトバスター

You could try to find party in another block and choose which MPA is almost full. However, N and H party is harder to find than VH.

My way for fast leveling is:
-Giving your Support Partner collecting COs to do everytime they've free time. Also, try to increase the relationship with him/her so that 10 COs can be done simultaneously.
-Hans' CO are easy EXP giver, especially the boss one. Combine some of them with H/VH TACO for easy access to the boss. I rarely do Kressida's COs since the requirement is sometimes hard for me to complete (Boss rushing is easier)
-EQ everytime it's available.
-Have fun with the class you're playing. I'm currently trying Gunner for a while, and it has been increasing in level steadily :)

Also, I don't think my way is any different than your leveling way. Any class except your first starting class is always a bit difficult to level up.

This isn't awful, but at the same time, 80 is a bit more than you'd want ideally to NOT be in your primary attack stat. Most characters at 60 have ~2000 ATK, and 80 is roughly 4% of that. The biggest drawback is you may not be able to equip certain weapons as soon.

It allows your Support Partner to do specific client orders for you. The client orders must be item collect.
This will enable you to level up your Support Partner and provide an easy way (lazy way) for item collect client orders to be done.

There are limitations however, from my understanding the items must be tradeable.
This means client orders from Koffie or team client orders cannot be accepted by your Support Partner.

Typically no, people affix them...the combination from a drop is incredibly rare

I run windows 8 and have no problems with the official client. Can you be more specific as to your problem?

There is the tweaker http://www.pso-world.com/forums/showthread.php?t=207248 that you can use instead of the official client. Without more info I think that's your best bet.

For the time being, it isn't really worth investing any points into Fury Stance Critical. The only reason I could see anyone putting points into that skill is if the level cap increases and no new skills are added for the Hunter class that are of any value.

Other than that, I'd say max out your JA Boosts, Fury Stance, and Fury Stance Boost 1. While Fury Stance Boost 2 is a tempting offer, it requires 5 SP to be placed into Fury Stance Critical, which is really only a useful skill for Hunters that make excessive use of Wired Lances (like I do) and/or Twin Daggers. However, even with that in mind, not even I am wasting any points on Fury Stance Critical. Those points would be better spent on maxing out all of my other skills in the Fury Stance part of the tree.

^ah, that is something that, if i read correctly, is just something that u have put up with. basically just let it redo/restart until it finishes. i dont think it actually completely restarts, because the files u were downloading are still there, so i think it runs a check for what u already have which speeds it up the next time/attempt

That's due to a bad connection of some sort. Whether it's because of Sega's servers, your ISP, or some firewall in there, it's hard to say. BUT, it does still download (21 files, in the case of this screenshot) so just be persistent and keep trying.

And look to see if there are any firewalls.

For fodders (or if you are that gusty to do it with the targeted item) Main Fodder have Soul, other has soul and other has power/shoot/tech III and hope for the best on both fodder items. -This is simply solved by buying fodder items that have soul and "x" III though which is way less cashy.

Forgot to say, but you will need two fodder items with Soul and "x" III along with Targeted item having Soul to get 80% transfer rate on both soul and "x" III.

^ah, that is something that, if i read correctly, is just something that u have put up with. basically just let it redo/restart until it finishes. i dont think it actually completely restarts, because the files u were downloading are still there, so i think it runs a check for what u already have which speeds it up the next time/attempt

Thank you for replying. The client usually does speed up after each fail on my laptop, but it's not happening here. There would be times where I have more downloads in than others. Still the same result.



That's due to a bad connection of some sort. Whether it's because of Sega's servers, your ISP, or some firewall in there, it's hard to say. BUT, it does still download (21 files, in the case of this screenshot) so just be persistent and keep trying.

And look to see if there are any firewalls.

1) Did Sega already fix the character creation emblem issues?

Most of my unlockable emblems have disappeared from the menus (despite one of them still being equipped)... Doesn't help that any replacement tickets are still "usable green" but don't do squat.

I recall the news about replacement tickets being distributed. I got an emblem ticket after last maintenance, but not for all my missing emblems.

2) Unit recommendations for a mid-level force (27, looking to get the most use out of my gear)?

3) Which of the 3 def stats are recommended for force and gunner? I'd assume T and R def, respectively. But s-def almost seems more logical to me. (Hah, sorry. Relatively oblvious to stats)

Getting Fang Soul + Shoot 3 isn't that bad usually...what gets tricky is & if when you go for a 3rd, 4th, & 5th (if you're really gutsy). For weapons - 3 is pretty solid: Fang/Mizer Soul - Shoot 3 - Spirita Boost / Spirit 3; you can go for Shoot Boost, but unless you have one stored away, it's incredibly expensive to buy. 2 is fine on anything, but adding the 3rd and 4th affixes starts opening up a lot of extra bonuses.

I can answer the second one and no you don't you just need the Katana and you have to fill the bar. When you counter it will use up the bar. I think the full bar is like 15-20 seconds. I haven't actually counted but it seems about there.

You can use any weapon to affix to any other weapon, and same for units. Weapon type becomes important when grinding the elemental attribute.


So, you could use a sword to affix X ability to an assault rifle.

HOWEVER

To grind the elemental attribute of an assault rifle you need another assault rifle with the same rarity.

Well, yeah, if the game gets bigger than your card, you're going to need a bigger card.

I'm sure they'll try to keep the size on disk down as much as possible, but it's inevitably going to go up as time passes. The difference shouldn't be immense; at least I don't think so.

No, you'll have less issues since the patch brings up some issues. So whatever issue that you'll be having is based on the game/server/hardware. I play without En. Patch and had yet to run into any problems that would happen with I had it.

The only issue is understanding what's what, but cirnopedia and good memory should make that easy (lol learned some stuffs while I'm at it like learning small bit of the JP writing).

Not sure if infinite loop is an issue tied to the patch as I had that back in the summer (but that was probably server issue since it was the crowded days of the summer).

Ouch, always remember to lock your wanted items so that you don't vendor it.

Once buyback time expires, you can't get it back anymore.

Monomates are good to get the DEX down, but some furniture is even better.
If I recall correctly, Modern Tables/Shelves and some other items from the modern-series brings down the DEX and up the S-ATK about three times more a Monomate does.

they made it so that in the first episode matter boards all the drops that form a way to all the orange orbs on the board have a 100% drop chance i.e. first enemy you meet will drop the item

Best way is just to do the Vardha EQ when it comes up. Trying to rush it is really tedious even if the rewards at the end of them are not half bad (I think one of them is a 4 slot unit with Stamina IV on it) so just pace it out through those if you're free for them.

I was playing the game yesterday... Then the next time I log on, the "status" on the ships say "unknown". I did some research and I found out that the game might be under maintenance so I just played my xbox for a few hour's then went to class for another few hours then after class I went to sleep for 6 hour's. I assumed that the maintenance would be finished by now, but It still say's "server" "unknown". Also, When I try to log-in, it doesnt pop up the "Authenticating Sega ID" window... then after a little while it pop's up with "error 249". I guess a good question would be is " Is anyone else is online right now?" So I know it's the server under maintenance and not my game messing up... Thank you!

IIRC (during the last boost week), they got around a 20-30% increase in price while 10% got a very little 10-20% due to the excessive grind +10 reward. People will be grinding/affixing a bit more than usual so most boosters will have more value this boost week.

After what happened in the September 4th's update, I think it's rather a precaution for now and likely on. Since they knew it happened once that it can happen again and cost them even more money to compensation players. I mean what if it does happens again but at a larger scale? More lost money for Sega.

Well I'm not really the right person to be answering that question since I don't believe in patches so don't take what I say by all means. If any means, ask someone that does use the patch.

All I know is that per update, you'll need a new patch and that's all.

Assbuster drops from a rare boss Bantha Oran (Lv.41+) so yea it's rare but I don't recall the price being that high.

it's 2013, creating a new partition from free space in a existing partition is safe and doesn't delete any data, virtual machines are really slow and iirc someone was having troubles with gameguard in the past

Couldn't have said it better myself. I'm an avid mouse user, but PSO just begs for a controller. That's why the controller support is so damn good.

It being only multiclass between with Hunter and Fighter would make all of your answers for Gu/Hu a NO unless you go Fi/Hu or Hu/Fi.

Yes you can equip it since it is a multiclass weapon depending if you have the require stats and yes you can use the PAs so long as you have HU subbed.

My question is, why use it if your Gu/HU.

They've higher base than the lambda patty, I suppose. That and I tend to use AB during TAs, it clears mobs faster in certain sections.

Gunner can't wear Amen Tomb. It's Hunter, Fighter and Force.

Also, Assault Buster is very good on Ranger and Gunner for certain things if you can one shot them, it shouldn't be overlooked.

And like the others said, Lambda Patty would be better in your case. Partisan damage isn't quite as good as the GU/HU DPS. You're better off getting the cheap one if you mainly want it for dashing.

Just hold your walking button and spam dash button for the speedy movement and as for triple step it's too complicated for me to even post because I forgot the process.

Been a while I used the official launcher, but when I get such boxe when updating, it was usually: lost connection to server too long, too lazy to try again, User please restart for us!

I was getting those a lot when I initially installed the game in april. At least the launcher will not re-download what was already done.

Doesn't work like in other games where the boost would apply to your damage stats that makes the damage.

In PSO2 crit is based on the hit landed not your max damage.

Basically you can crit for shit but land normal hits higher. All it does is just up the max damage of the hit landed not add damage bonus to your overall damage.

Xie appears only during Seasonal EQ time, she being there a little longer than BW was weird though.

When you hear lilipians in any Lilipa maps, it means you'll likely get a code with Lilipians which will be escort/quick/rescue/gesture.

Its called an Item pack, that is recieved from Fun scratch. Open it up and u recieve three different version of an accessory, bodypaint, or whatever Sega choose to bundle each update.

Depends on which weapon.
-Partizan: Same type of guard as sword and wired lance but it also fills the gear gauge.
-Daggers: It's a short 360 degree block that acts the same as Just Guard without needing the skill.
-Double Saber: It's how you activate the gear which creates a damaging wind aura around you for short duration.

64-bit so all of your ram can re recognized if I'm not mistaken. I have a 2011 MacBook Pro which I installed PSO2 on and it played well believe it or not.

I scratched a 3 day my room pass and used it the other day. I don't know if this is related to my issue but thought it'd be relevent but here's the issue:
I logged in today, went to my room. All was ok, come back 20 min later and my room is completely empty of everything I've placed in it, including my support partner pad that the game gives you. They have yet to come back hour later. Nor are they in storage. I had a support partner chair, pad, a bed, lots of misc plants and other stuff. they're all gone, completely.

My friend reached level 20 today and I friend coded him when I started, and hours later I have not received an arks badge yet. I know how to receive them and have received around 8 total so far, but these aren't in my storage or anywhere. Didn't even get a mail. but it just seems i'm getting hit with issue after issue now.

Just a guess, but did you check your room layout? Could be that it changed on it's on and all your stuff is on your other layout.
I remember reading about others having the same problem, but I can't remember if it was just the layout thing or something else.
