As a 65/65 br/hu, I'm debating between diferent unit sets, i have a full 10 star electric set, a luxe set, haze set, and a vardha set, which one is the best? The PP sounds really nice in the luxe set, but its a bit low in health boost and low in s-def, not just that but its not all that amazing in terms of s-atk, since there is no s-atk boost in the set affect or in the individual units. vardha is just sad in terms of its defense overall but has a nice set affect. The electric unit has the best overall defense (and it already has a nice 35/65/65 s/r/t-atk boost plus a nice +7 pp from all that tagami souls) but it just lacks any a lot in pp boosts in the overall set. Haze set just seems plain bad for braver defense so i'd rather not touch on that.

Relative to what you're doing, I'm sure, but also what you've got affixed to them. I've got the "Ele-" set (electric set?) which is nice, but it's nicer than I've affixed Ability III to at least 2 of the units. It might be on the 3rd as well.

Try affixing Spirita to your weapons if you really need the PP. I had a similar conundrum, but I found that I really have to have S-DEF. I work with that and go down.

well, through the boost week, i met 9 tagamikazuchis in my Shaq runs, So i have about 5 full 10 star electric sets in my inventory. The one i use right now is better for gunner and force considering it has a 65 in r-atk and t-atk already affixed. Ability 3 is already pretty much on most of the sets in my inventory, so affixing does sound easier, maybe i should just affix a power 3 onto it and thats all i need. XD thanks for the advice, feel much more confident about this now :3

Ok I need a verdict. I came across a full 10* lightning set with soul ability III stigma and tech III so each one boost my T atk by 65 and PP by 7. Now I realize this is not an ideal unit set since the units themselves add nothing to PP nor does the set bonus. Problem is I've been having horrible luck with affixing even during the boost period. we're talking millions with boosters just to get Soul + Stat III sometimes so I'm kinda "dudu'ed out" as it were.

So my question is this: should I just craft these things for techers to get an additional 9PP and lose 75HP or should I look for another cheap set and pray with some basic affixes?

Also what's the consensus on a good fo set now that schlacht has fallen to the wayside?

Folly Cut + Folly piece = 2piece set with 10 PP and 60 T-ATK plus Heiremjees arm for 10 PP (look up on cirnopedia for JP names to search). No idea how much it costs now.

Personally I find good success going: 1-slot Elder Soul or Ragne Soul (use 2 fodders with just soul) then use 1 fodder with Soul and 1 fodder with Tech III - usually within 3 tries they both stick using just 10% booster. It really is an inexpensive way to get 2-slot. I use Ragne Soul personally because my HP bar scares me. Made my armor 3-slot this past week by just using 2-slot fodders (Ragne Soul + Tech 3 base, Ragne+Tech3 fodder, Ragne+Stam3 fodder) and 30% success. Shockingly... no fail even though it was 100% 100% 91%. But generally going to 3 slots is more painful (my fighter weapons refuse to slap Poison 3 on there for example).

Folly is decent enough as is for defensive purposes, but you end up at 609HP with Ragne Souls on the armor (and Elder on weapons). I personally am squimish with such low health, but it's not bad.

Yeah, unless you want poison on a weapon or stamina, there's little reason to get 3slot in place of 2slot. Unless you also want a ton of PP.

I always take the PP drink and sitting at I think 150 PP. That's good enough for me, I spam, use PP-convert (10 point one for Namegid spam is amazing), and I have the black umbrella latent 3 for very fast PP recovery. But keep in mind my Sazan is -10 PP cost and I personally don't like to only use Elysion.

The units I use have amazing PP bonus, I think someone said it's the best combo for PP. Folly comes with HP+40 and PP+3 according to Cirno so crafting those would not yield higher PP on units.

Uranus: (from Google Translate) - seems like any Lilipa defense, but also some other ECs yield it as well.

I'm fully aware of the wonders of passive regen, but this build actually lets me steal aggro in MPAs, so I know I'm doing something right.

If I really wanted passive PP regen so badly there are all sorts of options out there that don't require switching to a GS to regen PP. I'm trying to maximize each volley though, so thanks for straying from the point.

You seem to be taking it far too seriously and sound utterly defensive. More than was needed.

YOU said you have shit luck with affixing. For the same cost that I went through you could have had Folly set + Hermes arm for +20 PP AND put Spirita III + Tech III + Elder Soul on your units. I went with HP (Ragne, Stamina III) because I have 10point convert and I own EIGHT FO/TE trees and don't have to use only Elysion unless I'm not in the mood to charge.

The units I use would give you higher PP than the units you found even before 3-slotting. The set+Hermes gives 20PP, each unit gives +3, Elder gives +3 on each. So you have +6PP on each unit, +20PP from having them all together... And +60Tatk on each unit. That's before slapping Spirita III on there which you seem to have shit luck with. If you cannot even 2-slot armor, I don't even know what to say.

150 PP does not make me cry when I use my TE/FO Elysion trees and only slightly inconvenient when using TE/FI. If you need more, that's fine, but don't assume because I don't ALWAYS run with my Elysion build that I don't feel your PP pain or whatever. [Also notice I have 150 PP with Ragne Soul instead of Elder Soul]

PS: I also answered your other question and gave you best PP units on market and all you gave me was lip instead of even the simplest "thanx".

Unlike the no caster class, maxing your damage mean sacrifing others element. As such, there is a ton of possible builds. If you're not gonna spend AC, I would recommend picking a FO element and go FOFI or pick one element on both FO and TE.

I never touched AC up to now and I used to play a generalist FOTE. I recently resetted to a fire build FOFI, then later found the 11* rod with fire latent. Now it feel like I'm doing close to double damage with the same spell on the same mob... SH used to be a chore, now only boss solo is still like that.

The DPS would be considerably higher with Elysion and uncharged Sazan. That is assuming you would even be able to hit anything with charged Sazan. A lot of the time you simply cannot attack with charged Sazan because the enemies will be dead by the time you are done charging.

Since I'm freemium, I only got 1 tree. Still no elysion sadly, even though SHAQ volcano gave me earlier this week the 11* rod with fire latent, so I got less reason to regret not picking Talis tech bonus. I cannot really tell so far if having 5/10 bolt tech pp save compared to previously 10/10 is such a problem, both foie and safoie pp reduction recipe are doing me good (keeping nafoie for burst damage). Combine with a gunslash or double saber step atk (when safe to use) to keep the PP up and it's not a problem. The maxed Chase Advance and Chase Bind was for TEFI's usage, otherwise I would had dropped the 9 SP into HP up 1 skill.

Mining Base Defense drops them all the time. Though if you'd rather farm them from a quest, you can view the monster appearance rate for any quest by selecting one of the options for Quest Records at the quest counter. Choose anything with a high percentage, or a popular quest where you can easily farm with a large party.

Don't think you can at all, even with element changers.

Anything worth a damn (7*+) will have an element anyway.

The block are seperated by difficulity, you go to the lower number block to find lower level parties, but the majority of English player play on B 20.

The VH AQ drop tables where introduced into SH normal areas when they were released, so I see no reason that the SH ones wont be introduced into the next mode up free field. That being said, you're gonna wait like 6 months for that so you might aswell continue to AQ.

50 element on a weapon is currently the max, and adds a noticeable damage increase overall to your weapon, im not precisely sure of the numbers, its something like 20% extra weapon attack at 50 element (Multiplied by up to 1.3 for weak element)

You can make them any color you want during creation. skin color and parts colors can all be set at that time, after which you're locked in without a color change pass. not sure if you can change skin color with that pass or not. you may need a salon ticket.

It's been awhile since I used a rifle on GU but for TMG PAs.

Infinite Fire - Mobile Sustained DPS
This PA does good sustained damage and its mobility allows you position yourself and adjust for ZRA. You can also use it mow down several low health mobs. Not a PA you use for chain trigger due to its speed.

Elder Rebellion - Burst Damage, Chain Trigger PA
This PA has a hefty PP cost but does some decent burst damage. It's speed is perfect for utilizing as a finisher for Chain Trigger.

Heel Stab - Burst Damage, Conal AoE if charged, Chain Trigger PA
This PA has a very cheap cost of 20 PP. The second kick of Heel Stab has a big hitbox. Uncharged, it can kill single mobs at a very cheap cost. If you charge it, you will do an Additional Bullet-like attack which will headshot mobs in front of you. Turn your character while firing so you can have a bigger aoe coverage. If you want to use it as a Chain Trigger PA, you can do up to a 35 chain solo for a charged Heel Stab. Sroll > Fire > Charged Heel Stab > Sroll > Uncharged Heel Stab > Sroll > Uncharged Heel Stab

one-shots if headshot, knockdown if non-headshot. either way, both are good. (you can only one shot if you have a pretty good rifle and units affixed to Atk)

Homing Emission (aka, poor man's Impact Slider):Boss Killer.
this, any lvl higher than 10 will do.
bit complicated to use and not always effective on some bosses. anyways, what you do here is charge 5 shots (any spot will do) then move unto a weak spot of said boss and fire all 5 shots at point-blank range.

Impact Slider (ABSOLUTELY NEEDS TO BE LVL 16):Boss Killer.
since it got a huge buff at lvl 16 plus a 5 PP reduction. instructions, just lock on to a part and start sliding. Homing Emission IS stronger than this, but in terms of versitality, you're better off using this. and given how Homing Emission needs you at point blank range.

Sneak Shooter (again, any lvl higher than 10 will do): Boss Killer.
If Homing Emission is impossible and you don't have Impact Slider 16, this is a substitute for it, I can't guarantee if it will hit, only use it when the enemy is immobile or not moving that much.

and also, you might wanna know that Rifles are RA/HU's Territory, Gunners really just use TMGs for everything.

im still very confused. Does Freefeild drops work differently than for example, XQ's, or AQ's? are each of them different? Also, what are drops affected by in EQ's especially Dark falz? i (for the first time, to check out how shitty falz was) went 250% boosts 3 times through boosted level 70 falz (all of them were instakills where we killed falze in less than a minute or so) and i got nothing each time. the best thing i got was a elder unit... it makes me think maybe im not doing enough damage on falz so im not getting anything. I lag a ton so many of my hits dont even show up and/or im too late to respond due to lag. I noticed that the one time i dealt noticeably more damage onto falz and didnt lag as much i at least got one unit, and a few 7 stars... but thats about it. Suggestions? o.O

The attack is set for crafted gear, and they also remove any special ability and Dex bonus that is inate in it.
For end game rare, the loss of the inate bonus will make damage variance high, so for example, normal 10* at +10, I get 3800~4000 damage, but if I craft it, I get 20 more t-atk, but my damage variance jump from 2800~4100.

What do you mean best economy, for seller or buyer?
Ship with more people(Ship 1~3) has the most people, so there are the higher chance of getting AC stuff and rare, compared to ship with less people.
English player I believe are also on Ship..5 and 10? But their number is really low, Chinese player are on Ship 7, but they tend to sell for higher price then other ship, due to less AC player.

on 1st "Boop" you are given 1 count and you must not stop attacking, stopping will dissolve the chain, and fail.

once you get to 30 chain or higher, activate the chain by doing any PA, Elder, Messiah, Shift are preferred. PAs can't be used to increase the counter, it will instead blow up the chain.

Chains are really just used for Boss Nuking, especially when you're a Gu/Ra.

Yeah, when soloing as Gunner I tend to just break the chain after one full attack combo, maybe a little more, by SRoll JAing something like Elder Rebellion.

On that note, here's my Gunner PA usage:

-Elder Rebellion most of the time, especially for quick chain breaks

-Heel Stab or whatever it is for mobs

-Infinity Fire sometimes, I dunno I just feel like using it sometimes. Maybe it's good when you need to keep moving? Then I'd rather SRoll JA into Elder Rebellion since it's quick enough.

-I've heard that using Messiah Time at point-blank against weak-points is amazing damage, and if you can get up a small chain first it's even better. It's also pretty good to SRoll JA into it to keep in the air and hammer Ragne's core.

If you're using item translations, checking the market when listing items for sale in your own shop will use the English names, and obviously won't find anything.

Hold ctrl when selecting "Check Market" or temporarily disable translations with the hotkey (should be ctrl+F1, but be mindful that your saved chat macro shares the same hotkey)

Not that I know of any youtube videos or wiki, but I sorta memorized them over time especially the darker ones, which look the same but have a different sound for each. Bosses usually have their signature roar and/or you may see them like Quartz flying around. They also may have a screen effect like Vol. Although it's rare now but if you see a rainbowy screen effect, a crystal defence might pop up.

Most people actually don't know about these so I doubt theres a video. There's so few of them though it's pretty easy to tell.

- Red darker gust WITHOUT a heartbeat is clones.

Not that I know of any youtube videos or wiki, but I sorta memorized them over time especially the darker ones, which look the same but have a different sound for each. Bosses usually have their signature roar and/or you may see them like Quartz flying around. They also may have a screen effect like Vol. Although it's rare now but if you see a rainbowy screen effect, a crystal defence might pop up.

I've kinda got the hang of telling the screen effects.

-Like a rappy omen is a yellow feathery effect.
-Umballa is a white gust effect as for the same for many others.
-Crystal omens are rainbow colored.
-Dragon kin is usually red or bright orange.
-Darkers are dark red if that serves right.
-I haven't seen a parallel omen but I have had occasions
where they spawn at the end of quests.

There is, yes. Actually it might be on the Memstick, but most Vita game cards "associate" themselves with an account and only clear that when you 'Delete' the application, mainly to prevent trophy cheating.

Namegido is great uncharged with Elysion, but that's it. The other dark techs are terrible uncharged.

There are only a few attack techs that are better (higher DPS) uncharged:
- Irufoie, Sabarta, Nabarta, Sazonde, Gizan, Sazan, Namegido.
It's a short list, and most of these are terrible in the majority of situations, so you will pretty much just be using Sazan all the time.

If you don't want to spam Sazan almost all the time, Elysion is not for you. Force in general is not for you. Sazan is stupid OP. Sega needs to give every other tech massive fucking buffs to fix this problem.

Elysion doesn't change how Shifta works at all. The craft recipe that increases it to 5 ticks is really useful, because you can cast it charged, run away, and still receive 4 ticks.

However, Elysion helps a lot when it comes to healing HP. Uncharged Megiverse > uncharged Sazan will put you back to full HP, and it will be quick, low PP cost and you damage the enemies as well. Craft your Megiverse so it has a lower PP cost. The increased charge time doesn't matter since you won't charge it anyway.

Depends. If you die in a falz battle and get revived, it doesn't matter. If you die in a party with 0 moons and have to head back to the camp to return, iirc it does but it might just be rng so I can't say for certain.

There can't be more than one quarantine active in a map. In order to not trigger the last quarentine, one of the other two have to be active (floor has dropped but the code hasn't been cleared.) Sounds like someone did that without you noticing.

In case you're wondering how this is done, there are two ways:

All class: With an all class TMG, flip over the quarentine to drop the floor, then keep JAing the flips and a normal attack to stay in the air until you're able to flip out of the quarentine.
(Flip over quarentine -> normal attack while turning around -> flip -> flip -> normal attack -> flip and so on)

There's an invisible barrier around the quarentine for a few seconds if you trigger it without touching the floor. So this way is a bit slow, but usable if you don't have an all class partisan/not subbing or maining Hu.


Hunter main/sub: With a partisan (all class partisan if Hu sub,) use the Trick Rave PA to get out of the quarentine instantly. Drop the floor, then run to the edge of the quarentine and jump -> TR -> tap block -> TR -> step.
You need to block cancel the first TR at the top of the leap. The second one should play its full animation since you'll be touching the ground.
(TRing out of quarentine requires some practice.)

The AOE damage on it seems very small range, too. Doesn't always hit all enemies stuck in a zondeel.
Seems to have a very low rate of freeze.

To transfer a Soul, any combination of two of the used equipment need the very same Soul; it doesn't matter whether it's the base or material equipment, but two of them need to have the Soul on them

You can try Tweaker's "Terminate PSO2 processes" function, which sometimes works, or just reboot.

Have you tried using the task manager and tried to kill it from there? You can bring that up by pressing ctrl-alt-del > start task manager or right click taskbar > task manager find game guard and end process from there. If for some reason its coming up from startup you can click start, type MSCONFIG > run that utility > startup > uncheck if it's there for some reason (tho i doubt it would be).

When you select affixed they have a %. That means they can fail to add.
Also unclear what you mean. Did you have 1 slot something like Power I and lost that? You can choose to add Vol Soul as a 2nd slot but that has lower chance of keeping Power I and adding Vol Soul compared to just replacing the Power I slot with Vol Soul.

I had an elysion for a while but no sazan 16 so I didn't bother, however when I did decide to finally go get it I went ahead a bought both a tree for Te and a tree for fo. I took the wind masteries on the tech tree plus pp regeneration and shifta stuffs and made sure on the fo tree to get the tech ja and uncharged tech skills. So thinking this is supposed to be some kind good stuff i go test it out first on fc and quartz because i was used to killing quartz in 45 secs with namegid with my normal build and wtf it took forever and literally didn't do shit maybe 700 pre breaking nose and 1500 post. Then tried it on blu and 1800 to 2000 a hit? Um wtf am I missing here, I'm definitely doing this shit wrong lol. Any help here would be welcomed.

I've struggled with getting the IME to work as well using XP, but for me it was mostly just the Windows side of things (the IME would not work with any programs).

To get the IME to kick in with PSO2 running, I have to always click in the text box or chat window that I want to type in first, and then switch to Japanese input (my default is English direct input). Hopefully that helps a little.

Um, have you tried shortcut key?

I think the default is set using : "LeftAlt + LeftShift" to change between EN - JP
and then use : "LeftShift + CapsLock" to change from romaji-alphabet (when it's already set in JP)

Note : try pressing the shortcut when you're about to type (ready to type after pressing "Enter" or any chat shortcut)

The 3DMG is separated. The part of the 3DMG with the gas tanks and hooks are glued to the costume. The blades themselves however, are camos.

Sazan spam is almost exclusive to a specific weapon potential with the Elysion Wand.

Forget that, if I'm playing with a braver I'm better served to just zondeel and let the dam braver shunka. Besides it would help any class. Even if I can't get off a Nafoie or a wand smack I still brought everything together. I don't see why people feel they need to be competing for the kill of everything as long as you're helping out the team. It must be that old pso thing of gotta hit it to get exp. Hey its all a matter of opinion I guess but I seriously don't think it's all that. I thought it'd be more like a DA for FO's and Te's. It's ok I suppose if you're in a party and feel like you need to hit stuff to satisfy that feeling but it's not that great, certainly not the big deal that I'd been reading for a while.

No. iirc blank boxes are automatically removed after you close the chat option menu.

I'm trying to setup a auto word that has multiple parts (if that's possible, I have no idea) and it only will say one of the messages. Confused at the moment.

Crafting it just gives it other bonus/debonus, it doesn't increase the level, to find the level 16, you'll have to break box, kill enemy, etc.

pso2.cirnopedia.info has the information about where each tech disk drops.
The newer disks are from any enemies in the new SHAQs. (since that information is missing from cirno)

You can only stack a boost up to 4 times before the time goes low enough to where you can pop another.

Also it has to be the same boost. 50% RDR + 50% RDR = longer lasting 50% RDR.

You can't apply boosts while in the lobby, can't apply them longer than 120 minutes, and presumably can't stack different types (eg. you have a 50% exp booster, and you want to stack some 75%'s instead, it wont let you).

Um, have you tried shortcut key?

I think the default is set using : "LeftAlt + LeftShift" to change between EN - JP
and then use : "LeftShift + CapsLock" to change from romaji-alphabet (when it's already set in JP)

Note : try pressing the shortcut when you're about to type (ready to type after pressing "Enter" or any chat shortcut)
