I've been considering on getting premium just to trade some 10* weapons for passes to buy a Holy Ray and save the other passes for the future.
I just noticed that the Holy Ray has a potential to cause stun when using Just Attacks.

My question being: Is Holy Ray's Potetial (Inevitable End) worth it?

So I just unlocked extreme quests and have seen posts about it being worthless to do. I mean 90 fragments X 30 ore x 5 stones for an 11 star? That's 13,500 fragments... @&$#! Do people actually do these quests still? Have you got an 11 star from the shop? How long did it take?

two days of actually playing to get the 11* rod.

However I had 88 passes saved up (wasted some before, lol, like 40 something), and had to buy a further 20-30 passes to get the stones I needed.

This was all done on 250% Rare Drop Booster, 100% Tri Boost and 100% Rare Drop Rate week. They increase the stone drop rate. The XQ weapons are indeed the best weapons in the game, but right now other 10*s are creeping towards it, and you're going to need 2 sets to get a weapon that's consistently stronger if you're using a melee / ranged weapon.

You spam dash button and your normal knuckle attack. You can hold down the attack button if you want though pressing it manually at the right time is marginally faster.

Regardless, all you really have to do is hold down your attack button and dash so its a pretty easy way to move faster.

They're one of the rewards for completing all 50 stages of an Extreme Quest series.

At the end of the 50 stages, you get 4 middle-tier stones and 1 catalyst.

Just a guess, but did you check your room layout? Could be that it changed on it's on and all your stuff is on your other layout.

Nope. Running in a full Lucky Rise 1 set with a weapon that has Temptation (overall +25% boost, I think) for a week or so resulted in a very massive heap of nothing for me. And I started seeing red boxes right after equipping actually useful gear instead.

You pretty much require having all the possible drop modifiers on while farming a very busy area for anything that even remotely resembles a chance of a worthwhile rare dropping. Even then, though, you are better off not getting your hopes up.

No, that's what you want. Keep doing that. There's a LOT of cutscenes, just let them all play out. There are only so many, they'll stop eventually. That's the problem I was talking about.

That skill tree is focused on healing yourself and not hitting hard (hence iron will and automate halfline). You want to get the left side maxed out and learn to dodge (so you wont have to heal yourself). So max JA bonus 1, 2, Fury Stance, FS Up 1 and Fury combo up. Obviously you need to use just attacks to get the bonus but you'll get the timing eventually.

For your braver you are going to want average stance and weak stance. Katana combat is also very useful if you plan on using braver as your main (or a multi class katana). Stances (like fury stance) are temporary skills that boost your attacks when you use them (lasts 600 seconds) from you palette.

I'm sorry I don't know about the arks road problem.

P.S. if you really want to hit hard get a sword and use the PA over end. That's the giant blue laser sword PA i'm sure you've seen people using.

Sometimes a credit card company, or a bank you may have a debit/credit card with wont allow some transactions to go through because they're handled overseas. It's primarily to prevent credit card fraud. I know my bank(Bank of America) sometimes does this when I try to buy things online; or when I want to use a service Online. I think it might be something more on the CC/Bank's end as opposed to something on SEGA's End.
Generally speaking, you can call you Bank and just be like "Hi, My credit/debit card was recently blocked when I was trying to make a purchase online. Can you unblock it please." the person on the other end will usually confirm your identity, and then confirm what transaction you want to allow to go through. ^^

Just going to post that I figured out my arks road issue. Cirnopedia does not list this objective correctly for 3-5. The 3-5 objective is to clear a CO from Jean about using partner character, which it lists for 5-5 instead.

If you've already completed them, it's basically free goodies. Usually stuff like rare drop tickets, EXPcubes.
You can exchange EXPcubes for FUN points, fancy effect rear units or lucky drop unit sets, and more.

Some Matter Board drops can be sold for good money because of good affixes.
There are also Matter Board exclusive weapons much later on.
Those weapons are worth quite a bit of money, and some are actually useful.

The latest patch added the best all-class twin machine gun (http://pso2.swiki.jp/index.php?H10%E3%83%9F%E3%82%BA%E3%83%BC%E3%83%AAT ) and all-class sword (http://pso2.swiki.jp/index.php?%E3%83%95%E3%82%A9%E3%83%AB%E3%83%88%E3% 82%A5%E3%83%8A).
Both are obtained via the latest Matter Board.

Ok, so I have been wanting to make a really good RA build, but I've seen something called 'Upper Trap'? That's an interesting question. The only disadvantage I can see to playing multiple ships would be that your bank is probably ship-specific, and if that's the case, you won't be able to move items between characters.

If there is another reason not to play on multiple ships, I have no idea what it would be. Worst case scenario, you can always move ships for 700 AC.

Well, from looking at cirnopedia, A-1 for MB13 truly are lv21+ Deegalla (the one without the black mask thingy). Did your MB bar show some progress on that node? Maybe it's asking for literally an army of those, since I heard some earlier MB asked for 40 vardha/quartz. Worse case, spam TA sanctum on hard, there is literally an army of those in the 3rd room, right after the weight button. Restart as needed.

As a side note, make sure you got MB13 as your active MB.

The first sanctum quest is basically nothing but deegalla and nothing. I've killed over 50 (closer to 150 actually as ive ran the damn quest 6 times and an exploration) of em, but nothing shows up on progress bar.

It's a blue node so it's going to take some time. Gold nodes, if I remember correctly, are guaranteed 100% drop though. Just keep killing them and while you are at it, lol do some COs.

Try the other sanctum quests as well to see if that helps.

+10 = 636 damage. They're the weakest +10 twin guns, but they are still around 200 damage higher than the former best all-class. You can see comparisons here:

Keep in mind that the new TMG also comes with really nice affixes.

They're 200 damage weaker than Yasminkov, but Yasminkov's amazing damage comes from its latent ability.
The new all class guns don't have a latent ability yet.
They are also around 100 damage weaker than the strongest non 10 star TMG (Lambda Radiegel or whatever).

You don't even need that much damage to destroy everything as Gunner, as long as your Gunner is specced right and you have high level PAs.
My friend and I have been levelling Hunter by using Hu/Gu with all-class twin guns. Still hits hard.
Br/Gu seems to be somewhat decent too. Fi/Gu probably works as well.

I don't know about any guides in English, sorry.
I just used the JP wiki. Google Translate works, but it's not reliable.

Yes. The only thing you can avoid is the tutorial/prologue chapter 0 with Afin.

Your Sarukurai's going to do more damage most likely but not by a lot. If you get your 9000M's to lv 3 latent with +10 you will see bigger damage while the latent is in play pretty much, but I would use that Sarukurai until you get latent 3 on 9000M and then once +10 latent 3 on them use it till 50 element.

This sucks especially since I was about to do DF. This was not happening earlier I do not believe, and this has NEVER happened to me either.

And I am not willing to uninstall this massive game and reinstall it either if this is the issue.

If it was during Super Falz, then what actually happened was massive server lag which may cause either ridiculously long loading screens, infinite loading screens, or error 206/whatever No. the Disconnect one is.

DF time always create server traffic especial during JP rush hours and super falz.

There are other thoughts but nothing that is reasonable as the same thing happened to me several times for bout 3-5 minutes of loading screens. Just either remove the En./story Patch (which I never use so it's out of the box), run a file check, or in the last/worse case scenario un/re-install PSO2.

Yammys are better once latent is at least at lv 2. but that's if you can get into Zero Effect's range which should be easy for MT and HS. The only other guns that will out do yammys other than GM and the 11* XQ are Pandora, Fleet (when not in Zero Effect range), and Flame Revolver.
However Yammys are the best close range TMGs so that'll give you an insight of what to pick.

Well as you can see, Tweaker essentially screwed me over in a sense, from what it looks like, in a forceful help to try searching for backup files. Which I don't completely understand as to why the program feels you need to download the large files AGAIN then delete them? From the text box that's what it says it is doing. Then it fails to find the backups?

Either way, it still doesn't load the campship, and this was just tested three different missions, nothing else running, my PC runs the game on shaders, but I use simple shaders, so it has nothing to do with lag, and I also did the three tests when DF was over, with unpopulated blocks.

It just has to be a file issue, because this never ever happened before and it seems like the game just doesn't want to let the campship show up off the portal, it looks like it loaded fine behind it, if you know what I mean.

Tweaker screwed me over...

----Also to add, I am doing a file check, with SEGA's launcher because it will scrape off all these ballsy translation files. So we will see where that goes. But I will surely not use the Tweaker anymore if I end up having to reinstall PSO2 because of this bs.

Yeah it is most definitly the Tweaker doing something behind the scenes that is messing files up not allowing the game to work properly. Or the Large Files are faulty and haven't been fixed, even though, multiple people use that and haven't had this issue yet.

I find it quite comedic how much the Tweaker fails stuff.

But yeah, I do not think I will be using Tweaker for anything anymore because of this. Just use it for emergency situations where the game just will not go without removing foreign files in the JP PSO2 launcher.

I have been using the large files for a long time, and they are fine (for me anyways) so it might just be a few people, because It does load, everything is fine, maybe it is something on your side brelovix, maybe it isn't, but I know lot's of people who use it, and it works just fine.

I tried doing a deleted files check and it couldn't find the gameguard.des file: "edition.txt has a filesize of 0!

I tried the Troubleshooting>fix gameguard errors too, and this comes up:

Sennheiser PC165 connected through 3.5mm jacks to realtek onboard. I can hear behind me just fine in MPAs, but falz hands sneak up on me from out of nowhere sometimes with the loud (if you're looking towards it) fly swatter spam attack.

I'd say just list a Monomate for 40,000,000 in your player shop and buy it with your other account. What problem could they possibly have with that, amirite?

I doubt it. This is where u need to have good map awareness, or at least expand ur map in the upper right so it shows the location of each hand. I know how u feel cause I had the exact same problem as FO against Falz.

It does not drop anywhere but the matter board. Of course, it's a lot easier to 50% now. You'll probably only need to get one from the shops to do it.

Yes, you can. Matter boards and story progress are separate between characters.

That TMG is the best when you often can take advantage of zero range. One of the reason people also recommend it is because of the recent 2 week of Wind & Rain having brought a lot into the market and dropping it's price.

Otherwise, for longer range or if you don't want to worry too much, there is also the flamme revolver with it's high base Ratk and JA potential.

Your room/bank/etc are all account-based, so deleting a character shouldn't effect them. The only things you should lose are that character's story progress, and his inventory.

You also won't get to keep any tickets for accessories, voices, lobby actions, etc you used on that character, since these things are all character-specific.

I believe that's everything... You should probably have another player confirm what I've said. I always get jittery about deleting characters.



Edit: Oh, and in case it hasn't been covered, that character slot WILL open up so you can make a new character for free.

When my target weapon has 3 abilities on it. I need to find weapons that have 3 abilities also to add them?

Where in the world does it say that? That feature has been out for... months! Try moving it to another directory that has proper read/write capabilities. (Like make a folder in your C drive and put it in there. C:\Tweaker\)

Well, I'm currently training with my cool Dancing Hitogata for the next update and Nafoie is really weird with that wepaon... Each time I want to use it, FPS mode or not, target locked or not, the ball of fire just fall vertically on the ground like a shit on a plank. Is that intented or not ? That information is pretty easy to find. Google is your friend! (just compare the launch dates to the dates the servers closed)

In all seriousness though, if you want to know how long you can expect to be able to play PSO2, MMOs are unpredictable. They just last until the dev isn't satisfied with the money they're making, and get shut down. It's the nature of the beast.

Your options that you can do anytime are to trade in a 10* weapon for one or level up on a class that's at level cap. Leveling up at level cap gives you two currently, though that could change at some point.

As for length of time, it really depends on where you play and how much.

Yes but save them. They can prove helpful if you goin to element grind 10* melee wep or guns.

Ragne will spawn even if you haven't done the EQ. If you have trouble finding Ragne in MPAs, you can do Naberius II Time Attack.

As far as I know it is mainly dependent on what the palletes it has plus it's nature etc. Nature dictating which weapons it uses I believe.

Their first and main equipment when summoned is their first pallet during time of registration. Others will be random as they switch around on their own will.

I really have no idea for non-1st slot weapons though. They change it on their own will just like the PAs.

they're about as rare as any other rare boss spawn on a map. Best bet is to find a 12 man MPA in free quarry. id say 15-40 minutes and you will eventually get an Etrial with one.

So, my mag just reach the 1st stage (Lyra). I'd like to increase the S-Atk further more while keeping Dex at max 30. What item should I feed it?

Melee weapons for S-Atk but how about items that decreasing the dex?
There's one item in the Furniture Shop but it is rather expensive (4000 each) than any other type of food ...
(BTW Increase R-Atk and decrease dex is very cheap, 400 each)

Nope, the EXP carries over with the new cap. As for which is better, I would personally say getting a head start to 61 would be better but if you still need stuff from the Excube shop that may sway your opinion.

Error 691 is exactly as it's listed in the error thread. Once you have linked an SEN(Sony Entertainment Network a.k.a. PSN) account to a SEGA ID, you won't be able to unlink them, unless you're willing to go through the hoops to try to unlink your SEN account from the SEGA ID.

You can try this guide (http://www.pso-world.com/forums/showthread.php?t=208244&highlight=unlinking+sega), but it's not a guaranteed to work.

Wait until your Support Partner can do 4 quests so that you can take him with you on quests. If you don't, you may find E-Trials where you have to save him or help him defeat a boss or something. Do not miss those opportunities, really. Those do give a bonus.

Just keep at it regularly, it really shouldn't take that long. 2 weeks maybe?

The amount of quests they can do depends on the partner's affection, which is increased by taking them on missions with you, or helping them in E-Trials.

Basically, run Za Oodan with them. Make sure you spawn 5 enemies at the end and you'll get a guaranteed S-Rank.
