Guess I'm just a horrible RA/HU then. This is what I get for playing on gamepad and not using Third Person Shooting I suppose.you can play on gamepads, but remember to switch to TPS and AL mode depending on the situation, mostly you're on TPS mode 90% of the time you're Ra/Hu in order to Cluster Head Shot Bullet enemies, clearly declaring one hit wonder.

also, If you don't know how to use launcher, get someone to teach you right now or go Fo/Te. :3

I have a Folly Rear/ Leg with +60 T-Atk and +12 PP, what 4 slot affix should i put on my Arm / Flau Talon ? +60 T-Atk and +12 PP as well, or something else?

I need some help/tips for controlling the gunner's stylish rolls better. I know I can easily roll left or right at will if I'm locked on or in manual aim mode, but I saw this video and the guy seems to have perfect control of his stylish dodge direction without lock or aim. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=18O7NKWXh4k

You don't want to do this as you will lose a lot of damage. This guy only did it to show off.

I know, but I still want to be able to reliably pick which direction I stylish roll towards. Practice doesn't really help right now since I have no idea what I'm doing right or wrong with it. Sometimes it goes the way I want it to, sometimes it just goes backwards, it's too erratic at the moment for me to figure out what to get good at.

So basically, does anyone know the steps to take to have it go sideways at will when unlocked and out of manual aim?

You have to hit shift and the desired a/d at the exact same time. If you shift too early before the a/d you'll go backwards and if you hit the a/d too early you'll backflip to the side. It does have it's uses and it is good to know. There's more to gunner than infinite fire.

There's more to gunner than heel stab is what you should say.

Infinite fire is the one I see most commonly. Like people running into hunar aoes using infinite fire for example.

Ahh I guess so, those infinite fire spammers are too afraid to get hit/don't know to flip at the right times so I can see where that comes from.

Word of advice for gunning: it's also a good thing to put a dead approach and satellite aim after the messiah time/elder rebel, don't just spam the sroll JA and try combining pas.

u just have 3 directions, left, right, and back..
just as said, press it together.. its not like holding shift before direction, but really together..

to change to other direction, u can use [mouse to target where u wanna face your character to, then press W] while u shooting enemies, or when using PA.. then do roll again..

What support techniques are actually effected by T-ATK?
1) Shifta?
2) Deband?
3) Resta?
4) Reverser?
5) Zondeel?
6) Megiverse?

Reasoning: playing around with the idea of a full defence Hunter main and full support Techer Sub, only to be used in MP boss fights on SH. I think Techer really needs to gain revive ability to its Reverser.

resta and ignited zondeel(and you dont want zondeel ignited) are it, zanverse is affected by wind masterys/latents but other than that everything is static affected only by disk level. also reverser does not exist in pso2

So, how does the new mag form change pass work? Do I have to buy something for it? I have a mag device, but nothing to register available.

That pass is only useful if you want to undo a mag device

would it be a waste of effort to start extending a weapon off an 8* to have easier access to a quartz soul(and less extends)?

or should i stick with finishing my extended 3* and try to affix the soul there? >.>

What about ... don't extend a weapon ... like AT ALL, because it's shit? (unless you want to use a specific weapon for the look).

Affixing is not expensive, especially on weapons. With one VH TACO set you could easily 3 slots (or even 4 slots) one.

That's very helpful! Should I wait till I have LV 16 versions of the techs or recraft them now?

Please correct me if i'm wrong..

based on my experience, tech crafting add up separate ability / dmg in your tech PA..

as the image above shows [Ability Customization] part, i think its fine to craft even its not at max lvl since its separated from your PA.. (I remember creating this disk when my namegid still around lv 15 with sizustar's help)

that is correct, tech custom is separate from disk level. if you upgrade the disk level from say lv15 to lv16 your custom will remain

I think I may have a bugged Alis... She has given me (and I completed) only 3 client orders. But she has nothing more for me. After checking her on cirnopedia, the prereqs for her next client orders are just to complete the previous ones. She's screwing me out of d/e/f capsules and 3 extreme passes :( Anyone else come across this, or know a way to cause her to actually give me the client orders she's supposed to?

During a quest, is there any certain way to tell which way the next area will be? Someone told me follow the purple arrow, but i'm not sure where that's actually located at on the map :\

well since i won't be getting premium for a while
1. As a non premium Hu/Br(i use mostly partisans/swords and only use katanas for mobile bosses or if i need to use the aoe knockdown thingy) What partisan/sword/katana/units should i be aiming for.
2. I'm currently saving loser crystals for the 11star all class katana should i keep saving or is there a better alternative for a free player.
3.When should i jump into SH? i'm currently 50/32 hu/br i feel my dmg is ok in SH but i die far too quickly so i usually do EQ on VH still other than loser which i do on hard mode since i hate to feel so useless.

Sorry for the very late reply as I just saw your post right now. I have read all of the other responses and would also like to add that Camera Angle or The Way Your Character is Facing in the Game helps to make S-Rolling easier.

For example:

It's easier to S-Roll if you have you have your character's back towards you so that you can just push left/right with Shift button; Seilent had beautifully illustrated this:

However, as soon as your character's back is not facing directly towards you, then it gets a little funky in regard to which directional button you should push along with the Shift button in order to S-Roll.

So in essence, what I'm trying to say is that while S-Rolling, it's also important to be mindful of the Camera Angle so that you'll know what directional button to push with the Shift button.

What is the average price of getting striking Soul+Power+Spirita+Boost affixes on 11* units? I tried with Quartz/Spirita Boost, and in the end I spent around 20 million (and many-many excubes) for only 2 pieces.

Hmm I'd say 10m per piece seems about right...the biggest cost should be Spirita Boosts at like 5m each. Fodders if you're buying them should be like 1.5-1.8m for Quartz/PowerIII 4 slot, and about 1.7m-2.1m for Quartz/SpiritaIIIs. It shouldn't cost to much to actually 4 slot the units so I'd say 1m-ish to 4 slot them all, depending on your luck. And then if your'e buying 20% Affix boosters those are 1.3m atm so. For 3 units you're looking at...

Spirita Boost x3 = 13m+
Fodders x3 = 10mish
20% Ability Boosts = 3.9m
4 Slotting = 1m
Total = 10m per piece seems pretty much average.

Of course it's cheaper if you make your own fodders, and use 30% boosters from Excubes.

EDIT: Looks like PP boosts are only 4m now.

I'm assuming like 50k per affixing attempt. Correct me if this is way off.

So expect something like 2.1m to get 4s Quartz Soul on a unit from scratch. I, personally, found it better to buy Quartz/SpiritaIII and Quartz/PowerIII for 1.0-1.3m and 1.6-1.8m; I might have been lucky in finding those on player shops but I did find three of each. Might have been either SHAQ drops in floating or just being on the tail end of a boost event when I got them.

So, ~2.1m for quartz/fodderx3 on your main unit, whatever you find those combos for on PS, and Spirita Booster (I haven't updated that in a while, so I'll just assume something like 3.3m) with either a 20% or 30% booster at the end would be 8.5m (if you discount the 30% entirely) to ~9.7m.

It really depends on you. If you feel you are capable enough to do so, then go for it. Keep in mind that if you die and you don't have a half/scape doll, that's a wasted pass/stones/rares.

im gonna say since the base percentages are the same then most likely no, however idk about the effect of elements and such but fire is a little more versatile IMO.
all in all im sure like the OP answer said the flan will most likely out damage it still seeing as how it has almost 100 more base attack which if you have 2000 ATK total thats 5% increase. Im new to all the technical stuff though so if this is incorrect someone please correct it.

For S/R-atk fragments, I believe they're usually just 1k apiece in player stores, but T-atk can be more costly.

You can get more for doing the daily craft every 3 day.
And each character have their own daily craft, so if you have 2 character, you can get 20 T-atk fragment.

I got a Darzentou (new-ish katana) the other day. It's latents are 7/10/13% added damage to darker. So obviously I'm going to use this on Dark Ballz & Tower runs. The element on it though, is dark. (Boo). Buying an item to change it to light is like 5mil, or there about. Worth it?

Another question...

[spoiler-box]I'm eying this Soul Of Wopal katana. It seems like there was a possibly reasonable answer to my TAtk issues all along.

Problem is...even when max grinded, it's stats are still lack luster. And each item in all of the shops are affixed with Another History and Burn IV. Seems like no one bothered to affix this katana. That or the affixed ones have been sold already.

385 SAtk and 350 TAtk @ +10. It does have the Harmonic conversion potential which converts 40-50%% of SAtk into TAtk, which is an extra 184-193 to TAtk which is neat.

But I'm rocking an ExLv 3 Katana with a bunch of decent affixes. +70 SAtk, +60 Tatk, +75HP, and +1PP. I have 2 more but they dont matter. Overall Satk is 855. Which is a big jump despite Extended weapons losing damage variance of 7*+ and above.

Lets just say I manage to get lucky and affix +100 SATK, that's still 485 to my current's 855. A difference of 370. So even if I spend time affixing to the Wopal, this is probably going to be a loss of melee power in exchange for a good increase in Technic power, but even still I'd have to spend a lot of time and money affixing the Wopal just for it to get high enough so that the loss of overall damage isnt a huge net loss.

BUT. This is all just what I think when looking at this at first glance. I'm still curious if this may actually be worth it for my class combination which is BRFO.[/spoiler-box]

So here is my question; Is it worth dropping this ExLv 3 Lacrucio+10 with +70 SAtk, +60 Tatk, +75HP, and +1PP affixes, getting a Soul of Wopal for 750k, affixing the Wopal for as much S-ATK I can muster, unlock it's potential and bring it to level 3, and change it's element to light?

Or just say fuck it, stick with the Lacrucio and wait til I either get lucky and get Susano through a drop or just buy Susano for 8.9mil?

EDIT: Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand I forgot the potential on my Lacrucio is unlocked lol. Which is spirit collector.

Well, the damage increase from 50 element is half the base attack of your weapon, including grind, but not affixes. So if the weapon would have 1000 ATK at +10, 50 ele would make that 1000 + 500 = 1500. Elemental weaknesses are like +0.2-0.4 dmg usually (I hear), so that'd make your weapon do 1000 + 500 * 1.2 = 1600 ATK worth of damage at least, which is roughly a 6.6% damage bonus.

I'm not 100% sure I didn't skip something there or if I'm completely correct, so I'd request someone fill me in if I'm missing something.

However, she has no more COs for me in game, and the prerequisites according to cirno are just "Complete previous client order." Is there any way to force her to give me the next CO, or is there a prerequisite that cirno doesn't have listed for the 4th CO? I'm afraid she's bugged and I'll have to go farm up 100 of each cap to start doing SHAQs.

I'm curious about this as well as I'm working on it. I've not unlocked any of hers yet though, and I've gotten d/e/f caps (and do ADSH almost exclusively). The J-wiki has relatively in-depth explanations for unlocking her quests. The 4th in the list says you have to clear the third (and that it triggers some other CO's). I don't remember doing any of hers, and I did the CO's that it supposedly triggers. :-/

One thing to note though: you can still get the Extreme Passes without filling in her square (or the Matterboard 16 square).

Buy one set for 700,000 (or have a friend take you). If you do the entire map, you will likely get at least 5, and probably more... maybe more than 10. My worst run ever of doing the entire map is 2. Best is 56.

I've been helping a new user named surraku get registered so he can purchase AC. I was able to eliminate some of the errors he was getting by changing his phonetic name from hiragana to katakana, but we're still getting this one...

hey, I would reccomend downloading bluestacks(android emulator) and pso2es.apk (DL can be found on bumped or google) to purchase AC, it goes through Google so you don't get charged up(like on other sites that offer codes) and i don't believe you need to enter in the address information(could be wrong i have it entered) and you don't need to face the captcha demon every time you wanna purchase!

since nobody answered.

i'm just gonna assume no as they are both "floating" 24/7 and cant be "hit up" in the air. I'm sure they don't have a "ismidair" flag on them (or if it is it can never be triggered). but if someone has a definitive answer then i would wait for them because i don't know how they detect and determine what is classified as midair.

Whats the Quest/Area most people play?

The EQ's are always filled, no matter what time of day. Starting around 17:00 JST, the Advanced lobby (226) gets some good turnout. If you get your risk to +12 for an ADSH, you can fill a room at almost any time of day with only a little patience.

I'd like to buy a 11* star weapon, but trading a 11* weapon from the rare shop for a 11* weapon pass did not work. Thus where do 11* weapons drop? Is it only in AQ or XQ quests? or do they drop in EQ as well?

They drop in some of the EQs. Both Falzes and both Tower Defenses do drop 11☆ weapons, as does the new Wind&Rain EQ. Wild Easter also had 11☆ weapons, I know that much because the only one that I have dropped for me there.

I guess level 70 enemies is what you should be looking for?

For me, getting the Bio Katana was worth it.

Since I main Braver, it's especially useful since I can use it to level up the other classes; it's way stronger than an Agito and comes with a good element: Fire.

It's also one of the best katanas in the game right now that has a good potential.

At the end of the day, you can roll as HU/BR for an additional HP, S-Atk, S-Def, etc. boost.

The exact magnitude of Shunka-shunran nerf was never specified, so expressions like "to the soil" are a little surprising. Other point worth making is that Hatou-Rindou was always higher DPS, it's just not as PP-effective (Ketos Proi is there for a reason).

Anyway, considering you can always buy extra runs if you'll feel the need to, it's probably still reasonable to pick up a 50-element bio katana.

Yeah, I probably over exaggerated on that expression though.
Though, knowing SEGA, it's perhaps a common-thing that would happen when it comes to 'nerfing', in their terminology.

I don't remember exactly, correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe a few complained about items and weapons having a high selling price, so they nerfed the 'selling prices' items and weapons to 1/10th of its original value (to me, it felt that way, I'm not really sure how bad it was at the time) and so that story has led me to express that, rofl.

Nobody knows how hard the nerf to shunka is going to be yet (I don't think anyone has former damage vs 'after nerf' projected damages stats posted anywhere) so it could be minimal or it could be horrible. They did say they were boosting other PA's for katanas but also not by how much. I would say "if you like katanas and the fighting style & enjoy being braver just in general NOT because 1 attack = all the time" then it's ok to hunt because you could still have fun nerf or no, by either continuing to shunka or by using the other buffed PAs. OR, wait for the actual nerf to occur before you start your hunt so you have all the data before the commitment to the hunt.

Now the worst question!
HOW do you get Shunka TO ACTUALLY DO anything?

Nobody explains this anywhere. The disk descript says "lunge forward, stab & follow with flurry of slashes" or something. Yeah ok. That doesn't tell me which KB key to press to actually make the attack DO anything other than the stupid stab n' rush. There are literally no instructions. (that I can read, at least) Googling it=fails.

What do you push to get it to do that?
What do you press to "execute" the shunka? Why does nothing tell you?
I want to try this thing 1 dam time before they nerf it, at least.

Right click again cancels it with whatever other PA you got on the wep
Slamming a WASD (any of them) causes the char to hop in that direction but not attack
Left clicking disrupts it and does a normal katana strike
Do you need a controller?

All the other PA's are obvious, or they all go off by themselves once you push it. (Steering over end by pushing the direction you want it to hit in, facing a target to hit it with foie, you can even guide the tarzan swingin' wirelance quite obviously.

You can get it by spamming Extreme Quest Ruins/Aquatics for stones and then trading them at the Rare Stone Shop in the Shopping District 2nd floor.

Edit:

It's definitely one of the best Katanas in the game, even stronger than an Orochi Agito, since you'll be able to element grind it to 50, whereas you'll need to get impossibly lucky to find another Orochi
Agito with the same element.

The only other Katana that will out-do it, is a 50-element Yasha... but that's provided you are targeting enemies that are weak to your weapon's element.... it's also not, All-Class.

You have to make sure it hits red circle, regardless of JA or no JA, it will still spurt a JA sound, while holding a direction, otherwise you'll just stop at the first attack, always.

Edit: I should probably say hold a direction (preferably forward I guess) while doing the attack until it gets to the last slash.

I just want to add that in order to use Shunka effectively, you'll probably have to learn how to use the lock-on feature ("q" button keyboard) since it will help you to control where Shunka goes (which enemies the successive slashes will hit next after the preceding one has been eliminated) as opposed to hitting air.

Also, learn how to cancel the move by dashing... so that after the enemies are dead... or if you're up against a boss that's about to do his mega-death-move... you don't continue doing the move like a.... *you know what*.

The best time to probably use Shunka is in conjunction with Katana Combat with Combat Escape and with Katana Gear activated.... it's safe and you'll have a dead target in minimal time.

It is best to just go PURE S-Atk. At end game, you'll be able to equip any Katana regardless of dex on mag. Therefore you shouldn't gimp yourself out of damage.

Yes, everyone is allotted two FREE character slots. Therefore, you can delete your 2nd character and create a new one free of charge.

After deleting your character, you will have to wait a day before it actually gets deleted; this was a feature that was implemented by Sega a while back in order to prevent people from accidentally deleting their character(s).

What kind of Mag stat builds would you recommend for a female human FO/TE? The idea of pure T-atk is nice, but I kind of want it to be versatile so that the Mag would still be useful even if I main TE whenever I feel like it.

mid air according to jp wiki is "does not touch the ground".

However since Elder is always outside the walkable map and Loser clips straight through the ground sometimes, I don't know.

And I can't test it either, since I don't have a sufficiently leveled Gunner class to test Aerial Advance with.

Just a few questions.

Does Il Barta stack with other people's? When I target a part of the enemy with it, does it only apply on that part or is it just 1 for the whole enemy regardless of where it is targeted?
Since I'm not an Elysion user or ever plan to, is it good to craft Il Barta?

If you have 3 or more characters and delete the slot you won't get it back, the extra slot is only available if you have 1 or no characters available. If you delete a slot that you bought, regardless or not if it was the second free slot it'll be used up and will require you to pay for another.

how much tatk do i need to consistently ohko goldies with ilfoie using bert rodan at each potential level? obviously lv3 +10 would be best, but money is tight right now.

assuming max fire mastery/charge advance/ele conversion etc.

probably going to be using typical pp battery/ewh te sub for it, but might run fi sub instead if i'm going to end up needing brave stance or something.

I don't know numbers, but it's not possible to one shot goldies with Ilfoie with a /TE sub from my experience. You'd need some extremely godlike numbers to pull that off.

Right now I do 50,000 Ilfoies (Negro Set, +100 attack on everything, with a level 3 +10 Belt Rodan, female newman, level 70/67 or something) and it fails to kill them. ;w; I've done it as Force/Braver though, since you get the +30% attack, but the HP Buff waves will screw you over.

No, for AQ, you want to kill enemy, and completing will remove spawnspot, it's best to just stay together on one drill and kill the enemy that spawn there.

It adds 50% of your current matching element, so basically 25% damage bonus if your weapon's element is at 50.

If the element doesn't match, it adds 15% (?, correct me on this one)

I'm not very obsessive-compulsive over perfect stats, as long as the Mag can help me equip things, I'm going to be happy with it.

Because as I've stated earlier, there's no way for me to buy a second Mag to suit my other needs. I'm just an F2P player. :c Is sacrificing a tiny bit of T-atk incredibly bad? I'm just curious of how that will impact the Mag in general.

It's not the end of the world to have 10-20 of a different stat on the mag, but it's wasted points as soon as you level up enough to gain that t-def. 20 t-def is what? 4-5 levels? I'd just keep full tatk and level up a little bit more rather than wasting mag levels.

Obivously it didn't come like that. I believe the general consensus is to add the number of slots you want on the target equipment first, then add abilities.

Here's the "formula" I followed. Just replace the soul/tech/spirita/spirita boost with the abilities you're aiming for (kudos to Arada!):

Simple recipe for 1 armor with 4 slots as follow:
Elder Soul / Technique III / Spirita III / Spirita Boost

1. Buy 6x armors with 4 slots and Elder Soul
2. Buy 1x armor with 4 slots and Technique III
3. Buy 1x armor with 4 slots and Spirita III
4. Buy 1x Spirita Boost
5. Use 2x armors with Elder Soul and 1x armor with Technique III to make "Fodder 1" which is a 4 slots armor with Elder Soul / Technique III / Junk / Junk. This has a 50% / 80% / 100% / 100% chance. I advise to use ability affix boosters here.
6. Use 2x armors with Elder Soul and 1x armor with Spirita III to make "Fodder 2" which is a 4 slots armor with Elder Soul / Spirita III / Junk / Junk. This has a 50% / 80% / 100% / 100% chance. I advise to use ability affix boosters here.
7. Take your target armor and expand its number of slots up to 4. I recommend not using any boost but for the last expansion from 3 to 4 slots.
8. Take 2x armors with Elder Soul and your target armor to affix Elder Soul on it. This should have a 50% / 100% / 100% / 100% chance. I advise to use ability affix boosters here.
9. Take your target armor, "Fodder 1", "Fodder 2" and your Spirita Boost. When prompted, use your Spirita Boost and mix everything. Normal chances are 80% / 80% / 80% / 100%. With a +20% affix booster, it's a garanted affix.

Steps 5-8 may fail and may need to be repeated.
The affix will not be so easy outside of this combination, Stamina III is not boosted by Elder Soul for instance so its base chances are 60% and not 80%.
You can freely use a Stamina Boost or a Technique Boost instead of a Spirita Boost.[/SPOILER-BOX]

I'd put lvls in s atk if anything to equip elysion as a force for the damage element boost. Though if you're thinking long-term I put 65 dex just to equip a katana that would req 500 dex. Now we have lvl 70 cap, if I had known actually thought that through I would have kept pure s atk because eventually sega will keep increasing lvl cap. If you are never going to buy another mag my recommendation would to keep it pure t-atk thinking long term. Weapons change, what was strong before is weak now. It,s okay to oops on your mag as long as it doesnt go to an obscene amount, but yeah always think long term.

I've been leveling a lot of classes on the same character and have run out of decent quests to level up new low level classes. What would be the best thing to do to get newer classes up to lv25? Also, I get warned that I will get less exp when I try to fight higher level stuff, what would be the optimal level difference for best experience gain?

Do high exp collect daily quest or Time attack, and switch to the lower level class to turn them in.

9 or 10 levels above you. Any above that, and it acts like the enemy is only 10 levels above you

Also, a good way to get experience at low levels is to make the class a subclass

Hey guys, I've been playing my Hunter so I can get to Lv.70 (just like my Fighter and Techer). With that being said, I'm currently a HU/TE who's rocking both the Traitor (weapon/rear unit) set and the Uranus (arm/leg unit) set.

According to Cirnopedia, the Traitor set and Uranus set bonus both features 40 SATK/RATK/TATK with 10 PP. When I equip both sets, I somehow have less PP than using my Folly set or Gloam set. I somehow have 121 PP rather than having 140+ PP. What's even more weird is that I gain PP when I unequip certain units too.

Did SEGA nerf people who are taking advantage of utilizing two set bonuses or what? Does the game even register more than one set bonus?


P.S. The Traitor set and Uranus set both have Quartz Soul / Power III of them (as well as my Gloam and Elder / Tech III for the Folly set).

there is known bug (bug or intended, i don't know) that if you equip multi sets that have more than one set bonuses, only one set bonus will be active

It's not the end of the world to have 10-20 of a different stat on the mag, but it's wasted points as soon as you level up enough to gain that t-def. 20 t-def is what? 4-5 levels? I'd just keep full tatk and level up a little bit more rather than wasting mag levels.


I'd put lvls in s atk if anything to equip elysion as a force for the damage element boost. Though if you're thinking long-term I put 65 dex just to equip a katana that would req 500 dex. Now we have lvl 70 cap, if I had known actually thought that through I would have kept pure s atk because eventually sega will keep increasing lvl cap. If you are never going to buy another mag my recommendation would to keep it pure t-atk thinking long term. Weapons change, what was strong before is weak now. It,s okay to oops on your mag as long as it doesnt go to an obscene amount, but yeah always think long term.

Considering a few melee/tech theoretical builds, ended up with a few questions. Search finds lots of irrelevant posts and threads that are 400 pages long. Patience worn out, so I'm sorry if these have been asked before.

1) Do Average and Weak Stance Charge bonuses (Br) apply to charged techs?

2) Nobody ever talks about Element Weak Hit (Te) with Weak Stance (Br). The Weak Stance description suggests that it boosts weak element techniques, similar to Element Weak Hit. Do the two not stack, or what gives here?

3) There are no decent Fighter weapons with T-ATK, so all the melee weapons would be useless to a Fo/Fi build. I know Extend Weapon removes any other damage types, but is there any way to extend a weapon with multiple damage types or are you just forced to change to rod/talis for techs? Have any plans been mentioned to add damage type that as a feature (i.e. to be like adding classes)?

2) Sure they do, but nobody talks about it because nobody goes Te/Br or Br/Te intending to cast techs. The lack of PP Charge Revival kinda kills it.

3) The twin daggers Heart of Naberius has a potential which converts 40-50% of the weapons s-atk into t-atk, you can use those extended if you're dead set on trying to cast with something other than a rod/wand/talis.

lv 3 +10 ex.8 Heart of Naberius: 694 s-atk, 0 t-atk
Potential/Latent gives 50% as t-atk = 694/2 = 347 t-atk
total t-atk: 347

lv 3 + 10 non extend heart of naberius: 315 s-atk, 350 t-atk
Potential/Latent gives 50% as t-atk = 315/2 = 157.5 t-atk
total t-atk: 350 + 157.5 = 507.5 t-atk

yeah ok at this point you may as well go extending technic weapons with the +fighter class extension item.

Fighter-equippable weapons with t-atk (Marie Nails, Strong Gokou) have 570 t-atk at +10. Both are also force-equippable but you're using this to level fighter so...

Thanks. I was thinking you could use Weak Stance to build a fairly competent hybrid, since you can pull 202% vs. weak element using the Aseracta, which ain't too shabby. It's not the best setup in the game (by far), but it's pretty serviceable for what I want out of it.

Re: other weapons, yeah, the only 4 Hu/Fi/Br weapons I can find with serviceable T-ATK are Aseracta (katana), Vibras Bow (bow), Vibras Lance (wire lance), and Guarus (partisan). Vibras Lance in particular would be a delightful weapon if only Hu had any synergy at all with Fo. Fo/Fi actually would work pretty well if one of those weapons came in with 800+ T-ATK, but alas, none do.

As much as I hate to say it, it's time to revive wartecher and acrotecher as S/T and R/T hybrids. Present skill trees are necessarily too specialized, and we need more mag-extending skills for it anyway. I guess claws and whips became wirelances and axes became swords, so I dunno what weapons you'd use. Maybe twin swords + slicer + wand for S/T, shotgun (spread needle?) + handgun + talis for R/T? Just spitballing, I guess.

Soul receptor makes any soul 100%
They cost a ton unless you have ES on android or tablet.

I just got it on iOS. No good? Not familiar w/ a Soul Receptor.

But damaging PAs would be...
Knuckle: Straight Charge for travel + weak trash mobs, Backhand Smash for stationary and/or boss/beefy mobs, Meteor Fist

Double Sabre: Deadly Archer, Tornado Dance, Chaos Rise + Rumbling Moon/Surprise Dunk/Fake Capture

Twin Dagger: Symphonic Drive for aerial targets, Bloody Sarabande for trash mobs, Faucet Folia for everything else.

Weak point attacks double damage, 1.5k sounds a lot like body damage. It's easier to hit a red core on darkers than head on dragonkins with an Other Spin. I could be wrong, but when I read the numbers, it's all that comes to my mind.

About RA:

Standing Snipe triggers after more or less 1000ms if your XY coordinates stay unchanged. High Jump > Shoot > JA'ed PA shoul do the trick. However, keep in mind that you can't chain Launcher PA with SS active, even mid-air because of the "PA kickback" effect changing your XY position.

You can still Jump > Shoot > PA > Shoot > Shoot > PA > Loop if you really want to SS all your PA but you seriously won't need SS with your launcher because you'll already be one shooting everything even when it's not active.

Cluster Bullet like a pro? I don't know about that one, it would be arrogant to consider myself like a pro. I can just recommend you to watch TA videos to have a rough guess about the aiming distance, then try it yourself in-game. Then you need to take your game latency into account if you want to spawnkill (Client targets =/= Server targets). Also, if you have First Hit in the skill tree, make sure not to damage mobs with your first attack if you want the damage boost. And always look at the yellow dots on the radar to fire a CB when the last target is about the get killed, the CB missile should be above the next wave before the mobs even spawn.

Spawn kill works in AQ/TA/PSE Bursts. Things die too fast in EQ, I usually just Rodeo Drive like fuck inside the wave, Cosmos Break a spawn spot, randomly Divine Launcher some mobs ... or switch to Rifle to Diffuse shell or uncharged Sat Cannon mobs them. If you lead the MPA, I guess you'll have time to fire a CB and solo clear the first wave ... but that's it :|

Skill tree:

if you use it for a ranged class, I'd go for HP or HP+partisan gear if use one, if it's for a melee tree, I guess more step advance for extra inv frames (or HP too)

Matter board has lots of Multiclass 10 stars that are quite useful..

To clarify for you Hirsh, the only part of the Matter Board quests that is not translated AFAIK is the dialogue in Chapter 5 of Episode 2. That's it. Everything else is more or less translated.

And to re-affirm what 10*s you can get from the MB and where you can get them:

-Brave Knuckle (Knuckles) - Chrome Dragon drops these. Hadred from the SQ won't count towards this.
<Matter Board 11> Lord Axeon (Gunslash) off of Fang Banther. Spam him in VH Nab 2 TA to get it.
-Rocket Punch (W. Lance) - Bantha Elena drops this. Spam Free Tundra VH minimum and hope most of your Snow Banthers are rares.

<Matter Board 13>

-Goron Rod (Rod) - Drops off of Goron Zoran. Just spam his mission on Hard and he'll drop it eventually.

<Matter Board 14>

-H10 Missouri T (TMG) - kill Vardha Soma on Hard Mode minimum and he'll cough these up after a while.
-Fortuna (Sword) - Ringa on Hard Mode has it. He's reluctant to give it to you though - kick his ass a few times and he might oblige.

<Matter Board 15>

Eternal Heat (Double Saber): Biol Meduna on Hard Mode. Takes a while to pry it from her corpse.
Nightmare Blood (Twin Daggers): Solda Kapita, the lance wielding Bird Darker footsoldiers. Annoying not because they're hard to kill, but because they're an uncommon enemy spawn to begin with. I recommend Subdue Malluda Area 2 for the best spawn.

<Matter Board 16>

Abyss Minion (Rear Unit): Kill Decol Malluda on Hard Mode minimum. Unlike before, he's EXTREMELY reluctant to drop it.
Kan'ei (Katana): Ringa on Hard. This is his prized treasure. Getting him to drop it will require you hunting him a lot to get it (I still haven't gotten it to drop, and I'm halfway through the mandatory drop gauge on my Deuman Braver)

Can't help you with the First 2 questions because I don't play on the SEA version and the content is different.

3: Feeding mags with items will level stats, you can't delevel stats, that's why it's important to plan the mag feeding and not level useless stats. When you feed your mag with weapons, it's going to level DEX points, to remove the DEX %, you'll have to use specific items (like room items, shitarides ...) depending of the stat you want to level -> Check pure mags in the guide

4: You want a pure R-ATK mag, so when the mag reaches Lv.175, you should have 175 points in R-ATK. Just feed your mag with Rifles, Launchers, Bow, TMG. When your DEX is about to level up, use a 3* or 5* room item.

5: Don't waste too much money on low tier stuff. Don't buy expensive lobby actions if you don't have a decent gear first. Try to do you Matter Board, easy money. Try to TA daily, easy money. Plan your weapon/unit affix before doing a mistake and wasting tons of money for jack shit.

The SS check is just on XY coordinates not Z (vertical). That's how you SS AB and use a Steadfast Reaper Launcher.
Cyclonehda have a weak spot on the head and core. Makes sense to me.

False, Z axis is definitely considered. Just tried this, different damage.
And yes, Cyclo's head is only weak to R-Atk.

Well I was bothered with how I've never notice that mechanic so I went ahead and tested it.

Skills as shown: nothing but some lv in WHA to get maxed SS1 and SS2.
Subclass is Hu.
+0 Ex.0 no latent weapon.

Too bad I didn't read your reply before testing so I went with using one point, cause more hit = easier for crit/avg damage.

No crit happened during the standstill-jump and jump-jump-jump PA, but average is 21

About that whole Standing Snipe theory, after further tests in various environments, it looks like my results were based on false assumptions and incorrect information.

I could clearly deal higher consecutive damage on the floor than mid-air. I guess I didn't wait long enough between two PA when I tried the first time or random Sharp Shooter mid-air, I dpn't know. But fact is: there is no way to trigger a Standing Snipe mid-air.

So, as I've never tried, I have a bit of a silly question.

During one of the recent updates, it became possible to change your Mag using a Mag cell, but still retain your old Mag cell configuration and switch between the two. How do you do this? Do you just use the cell, and it gives you the option to switch instead of overwriting? Or do you need a ticket or AC item or something for it?

You can trigger Standing Snipe midair, actually, but only using the PAs Elder Rebellion, Satellite Aim and Additional Bullet (iirc). If chained perfectly into one another, you can float for long enough at the same point to get Standing Snipe.

I tested it with a Shudder round, Additional Bullet is not effected by standing Snipe.

Hans, Franka and Kressidia orders are your main source for experience points. I'd recommend taking 3 npcs with you in every quest, because it increases the amount of enemies spawning. Don't forget to check the daily orders. Some are really good and give you a ton of exp/money.

Not really. You can make do with a satk or ratk if you go in depth with katana or bow. Dex is alright if you are doing both but it impedes you if you only have 1 mag and multiple classes to work with.

Braver is a pretty mobile class, so dodging is your best bet. Alternativley you could block right before you get hit for a counter attack, which also nullifies all damage. The timing for the counter attack is pretty leniant, try it.

Edit: Or you get the PA's kanran, hatou and shunka and kill everything before you even need to dodge/block.

If you're looking for skills, look at Combat Escape. This turns Katana Combat into a twenty-second-full-invincibility button, as long as you don't end it early for yourself by using the finisher (you totally can after a dangerous attack passes, but just be careful not to end it too early and get yourself killed)

Katana Combat in spicey spots.
Spend the SP on to get back up to 20% HP when you pull off Just Reversal.

So, i just read on Cirno that you can grind attributes between 2 weapons of the same rarity and type? so is this true and if so can i take a 10 star light sword with 26 element and then take another DIFFERENT cheap 10 star light sword (there are some for like 2k) and use that to grind the attributes? i always thought it had to be the same weapon.

It used to be but that changed. However by default other weapons of the same rarity will only give 1 element per use.

In other words, if your sword is 26 element, you need 24 more to get it to 50 if they aren't the same name.

oh jeez, I knew it was too good to be true, but if I could get the passes it would still be cheaper to buy 24 10 star light swords than another one of mine for 30 mil.

The boost aura unit, it's supposed to add 4% resistance to everything. So is that really like adding 8% I'm trying to understand if enemies regular hits also count under their element type?

Generally, update window and driver to the latest version, turn off any anti-virus, so it doesn't conflict with Gameguard, do a file check.

1. try doing a file check once more, like Sizu said.

2. go get a better PC.

3. uninstall PSO2 and play something else.

anyway, if you get a blue screen or something, your PC can't handle PSO2. if black screen/crashes, try doing a file check and run pso2 at the lowest possible settings.

When using twin machineguns and/or daggers I often find myself at high altitude, which is where I like to be, the problem is most of the time the camera doesn't follow, it stays at ground level and my character is offscreen above and I'm left blind. Is there a way to fix that aside from using manual aim or locking onto stuff?

Switch to TPS mode.
Or Double tap Z. (switch to TPS mode then back at normal)
Or change your mouse wheel scroll function in option to "Adjust camera distance", then scroll your mouse wheel when that happen. (if you use KB/M)

any other bullets other than weak bullet are worthless.

I just got into the game for the first time, but when I enter the game and click on "start the game for the first time", there's a ship number listed there (Ship 9). Is it possible to change this further down the process or is there a trick to this?

The ship order is set so that newer player will go to the later ship with less players, but you can just choose the ship you want.
If you are not fluent in Japanese, choose Ship 2.
