When i search for parties in progress they always feature high levels (sometimes 30+ levels higher than recommended) so I always have to solo and then when I do solo, Ill never have anybody join my group. It depends on difficulty.
B-002 - Normal, B-004 - Hard, B-006 - Very Hard, B-010 and higher - Super Hard.
Same for 1xx (Vita) and 2xx (shared) groups of blocks. If nobody joins your party, then nobody simply wants to do that quest (or they want to do it alone).

Don't be afraid of joining other people, their level doesn't matter if they do quest on your desired difficulty.

Or find a team and ask them for help. There really is nothing more you can do.

I have successfully activated secureOTP (using my android phone).
When I try to log in on PSO2 I get error code 659.

This is what I do step by step: log in using my sega ID and password, then as I get the OTP prompt I hit refresh for a new code. I enter the code (while the blue bar/timer in the app has yet to finish) and hit enter.

When I try to log in on the PSO2 website I get this message:

Google says this means the network is busy and that I'd have to try again later. (Which is different from what error 659 said, but I lost the text for that one. I do know that it's not the same error as the one listed in the list of pso2 errors in this forum.)

As for my quick question: Can anyone tell by the provided information what's going wrong?
Something wrong with OTP? Sega ID server congestion? Maybe it's on my end?

Maybe it's important to note that at the time I tried all this, a lobby live concert was going on, so I do expect the log in traffic to be more strenuous than usual.

To prepare for a worst case scenario: is there a concept e-mail floating around for unlocking your OTP account after 6 failed attempts?

If so, if they happened to miss like the 1st 10, and do the rest, can they skip to those stages or do they have to complete the ones before hand?

they dont get the full clear reward unless they complete each stage. so if they jump in after say floor 15 and do all the rest they do not get the bonus stones after the final floor.

First of all are you looking at player ID or your number ID

because that looks like your number ID to me

If that really is your player ID then you'll have to pay quite a pretty AC to change it.

Before you select a character, go to the 'Support Menu' and select 'Player ID Name Change'.

It costs 3000 AC and you can only do it once per account. You can also change your character's name for 1500 AC, and I believe you can do that once every 30 days.

You can't change your login ID AFAIK. Nor Player ID (the number).

You mean when you're registering your account? You could type it into Google Translate and it'll let you type in Japanese. ziogio = じおぎお in hiragana, and ジオギオ in katakana.

Get premium and buy it :L

I wouldn't bother trying to hunt that. It's not very good, not to mention how hard it is to farm specific rare mobs, so all you could really do is spam Free Coast or AQs all day long and hope for the best.

You would have better luck doing Falz Arms for the Lambda Kalicizma, Falz Apos or the flying darkers in the LQ/TD3 for a Dio Castilon, or just TD in general for other katana.

Honestly you may as well hunt for an 11* at this point instead of some trash 10*.

Or just do the matterboard for the Kenei.

You get credit for clearing the next stage you have access to, regardless if you're the party leader or not.

If you jump to the end, your next available stage stays right where it was. You won't get the clear reward, and your progress will not reset.

Then that's weird because one of my friends did like stages 16-70 with me, but he could only access from stage 1. When we did that, he was able to access stages 1 and 6, but nothing more.

I got the reward for finishing 1-70 before I reset, but it looks like he reset without the reward and that doesnt make sense because I thought you only reset when you do all 70.

ALL of the bonuses are additive, so something like +20 Power usually isn't worth it. You have to compare what you get to what the tech normally has to really get a feel for how big of a change it will bring.

When you complete the previous stage's order, enemy resistances will be changed to weakness.

Red Scorpio, because of black heart. At level 1, black heart gives 300 S-ATK and 300 R-ATK when your pp is less than 50%. General rule is 20 ATK is about 1% damage, so we're talking a 15% damage boost at lvl 1. At lvl 3, it gives 400 S-ATK and R-ATK, which is a 20% damage boost (also making it twice as effective as pp slayer).

You should try the amazon web services method. Maybe that specific ip you were using in the softether client was banned. It's not uncommon when like 100 people log in from the same ip...

Not with Stylish Roll JA Bonus being your main source of damage. Without that it can work with any PA that has you standing still.

TMGs move a whole lot, so Standing Snipe isn't exactly viable. However there's not much else on the RA tree to benefit GU if you're going for that, so you can still get it and occasionally spam one or two normal attacks mid-air before using Infinity Fire to get some damage out of SS.

You bring the Buyer with you while doing the Xq.
And how money is transfered will depend on wheether you have Premium or a Shop pass.

If no premium, then the buyer will have to give you the money through buying stuff you sell ingame with a 3-day pass, or the buyer will have to get a giftbox(Not sure if can be set in none premium room) and drop the money in the giftbox in your room.

I'm kinda stuck on Gunslash Training IV, it's the one which I have to clear [Nab Rappy Capture] in 15 minutes on Hard+ with a gunslash named [ガンスレイヤー] only. Judging from the pronunciation I believe it's Gunslash, the middle one of the three 1* gunslashes... I think the shop inventory updates with my level and now only sells 2* weapons, I switched to other class with level 1 and went to the shop but then he doesn't even sell gunslashes... I assumed it should drop from low level areas since it's 1* weapon so I ran the 4 forest areas and free exploration god knows how many times but it just doesn't drop! Oh and there's only 1 sold in player store when I searched for it and it was listed @100K+... Anyone know where I can get this damn weapon!? And if the only way is to run the forest maps do I need to do it in a certain class or level?

You either find it or buy it. But yeah people sell those weapons for 100k since they're used just for those quests.

You can get it to drop by playing forest quests on Normal, yeah. You can also try to cheese the weapon merchant by repeatedly changing blocks and checking his inventory. Otherwise, tough luck, should've saved those MB drops.

Haha it's my first time playing this game and it was a 1* weapon so didn't know I would need it later on =___=... I noticed the weapon drops tend to be mostly for your main class, but since gunslash is all class does it mean all classes have equal chances of it droppig, theoretically at least? I'm thinking of leveling my low level classes while running forest exploration.

For opening maps, yes, just skip everything ......
As far as I know, you only need to clear it.

How do I know if I've gotten the items? I know a bar will come up saying I completed a quest but if I miss that bar and don't see it, is there a way to tell?

Well .... you should picked up 2 yellow box, dropped by mobs ._.

After you picked 2 yellow box, check your CO menu, check Koffie CO and see if it's "2/2" or look for crown logo for item collection in Koffie CO. Just in case you get another item collecting CO (since it also drop yellow box)

the other 0/1 is just clearing new map.

Yes, just use Tweaker for everything. Perform the Check PSO2 Files from the Tweaker options to make sure everything is installed properly.

Yes, other than loser, it should give nice exp. Don't forget to check JP wiki, since they also give PSO2es information in one of the page, so you can get on, and be ready.

No EQ? Join LQ (Knight Gear) ...... in respective blocks, of course. ~54 = VH, 55 and above = SH.

1. Grinding is just increasing the damage it deals at Dudu or Monica, it cost grinder, and the max you can reach is +10, most 9~12* have potenial ability that you can unlock after reaching +10 on it, so for most rare, you need to grind it to +10 4 time to reach max damage and max potentional.

Weapon and armor can all have ability added, AC outfit cannot at this time in Japanese version of PSO2, I believe that Taiwan version of PSO2 can or have AC outfit that have ability in them.

For weapon palette, use either mouse scroll, weapon palette key (E or R key, I forgot), or numpad (1~3, or 1~6 later on).

For subpalette, use the mouse scroll or weapon palette key, then press G or H key to switch from weapon palette change to subpalette change.

You cannot display multiple rows on weapon palette nor subpalette.

Press esc and it brings up the ability to free use your mouse. From there just click on whoever you want to whisper and about 7 different options of communication will show up near their name. Then click whisper

You can switch subpalettes by writing /spal1 /spal2 etc.
For weapon palettes, you can use numlock 1 to 6 by default. You can change it to whatever you like ingame.

That thread of yours... no good was gonna come from it. The primary reason people play games is to have fun, it doesn't have to be serious all the time. I'd play EVE if I wanted to be serious. Class and build experimentation is part of what makes the game fun. Even those builds you wouldn't think of (Enforcer's RA/TE for instance).

Also, I would have put that thread of yours in the ranting section of this forum. Fits better there imo, despite it being PSO2 related.

You can also feed them an evolution device once they're at least lv100, but these are purely cosmetic. An item at the recycle shop can let you pick from any device you've already used, but nothing can restore (or switch between) the original mag skin.

As for feeding, you're most likely going to want to go for pure Atk and little else. So feed it weapons for your main class (rod/talis/wand for T-Atk and melee weapons for S-Atk) but reduce its Dex by feeding it furniture or healing items (trimate/6* furniture for T-Atk, monomate/4* furniture for S-Atk).

Worry about gearing up later, but for now try to get something with a decent set bonus and affix a relevant soul and Atk stat to get 50-60 Atk on each piece. Loser or Vibras's 10* unit sets are pretty decent, though Blitz and Fegali are really good 9* sets you can craft up until you can get the 10* variant.

Thanks! Someone linked me a crafting guide yesterday but I didn't get a chance to look into it. Does anyone know where I can find an English guide? Preferably with screenshots in English lol. Bumped's guide has screenshots in Japanese which don't help.

Also, do only field quests have the huge bosses at the end? Or do the Arks quests too?

Question for my friend: He got the game working and applied the patches but some menu things are still in Japanese. I haven't confirmed if this is the normal things not translated or not but can he just use Tweaker and re-apply the patches?

EDIT: The guide was just to Cirnopedia. Doesn't tell me where to go to craft. If I know that I can figure it out through trial and error :P. I have some PA Fragments and some other crafting mats.

Menus and NPC names were not translated. He said he applied the patches, downloaded the VPN and launched it, reloaded Tweaker and it said he had a patch in progress. It repatched but noticed it said something about the translators not being done even though he had done them after it asked to repatch something. After that patch he noticed the Tweaker said something about the EN files not being done.

Does he need to just re-apply the patches? I told him to use CyberKitsune's proxy instead. Worked great for me.

NPCs should definitely be translated just using the EN patch. Should try a file check just in case, then redownload the patches. Although there's going to be an update later today anyway, so may as well do that then.

You can send and receive crafting requests in their/your room, and search people up using the Visiphone. It costs a bit more meseta, but everything else is the same and you can skip all the leveling. It's essentially free crafting experience for the recipient, so everyone wins!

NPCs should definitely be translated just using the EN patch. Should try a file check just in case, then redownload the patches. Although there's going to be an update later today anyway, so may as well do that then.

You can send and receive crafting requests in their/your room, and search people up using the Visiphone. It costs a bit more meseta, but everything else is the same and you can skip all the leveling. It's essentially free crafting experience for the recipient, so everyone wins!

Well you can do a full filecheck to be safe, which restores all your game files to the original Japanese (but still up to date).

If he can get on the game just fine, there's probably no real issue and he can safely apply the patches immediately, but then again something screwed up in the first place so who knows.

Skill Tree Reset is 1,000 AC, and you need to have at least 2 skill trees available in the class you need to reset. Alternatively, you can add skill tree for 500 AC, but you can only add up to 20 skill tree on all classes combined. In addition, SEGA may give out all skill tree reset passes when there is changes in skill tree.

As for mag, you cannot delevel any stat. I would get another mag if the other stats is more than 30 levels combined, but it is up to you to continue leveling the T-ATK of your current mag.

It'll go up with a jump only when you're in the "battle state" (where you hold the weapon in your hands). What I do is step attack to quickly get the weapon out, jump, then spin, then PA (my 1st PA is always symphonic drive, after the kick you get a gear stock)

When skills get changed/altered/added. Sega gives everyone an all reset pass, this is where the reset for free comes from. As of right now, if you want to alter your tree, you either buy a reset or just make a new tree with an additional skill tree. If you can handle it, you can wait until the 27th when Ep 3 comes out. Since the trees are changing everyone will get a reset.

As for the mag, buy a new mag.

If you mess up your mag you have 2 options.
-Buy a mag reset = 500AC
-Buy another mag = 300AC

It's your choice. Since you can't delete mags, you might as well buy a mag reset.

Mag evolution form depends on the stat you're building, and NPC characters mags are the evolved form. You can also use evolution mag device at Lv100.

I'm just trying to decide if I want to do $40 or $63. $40 gets me 3,000 AC which I can safely get a mag reset, premium and maybe a gold scratch ticket or something.

If you feel impatient some more, check bumped. They always put up an article detailing maintenance times and what comes with each maintenance the day it happens.

But when I used it, it only does the "charging forward with a thrust" part and I didn't see any "raging attacks" afterwards. Does it only occur under certain situations? You must hold the PA key/button and get the timing right then release PA key/button (just like Kanran and the other chargeable katana PAs). After the thrust, you hold forward/back to do overhead slashes or hold sideways for a horizontal slash. This applies to the 2nd and 3rd attacks, the thrust and 4th slash is always the same.

To all bravers out there what would you think its better bio janen or yasha. I just got my bio janen 2 days ago and since no one wants to do EX i soloed them,it was really frustrating failing sometimes, and today the game drops a yasha on me. I actually spent a lot of meseta grinding and increasing its element. What do u think should i do. Keep it for now,sell it or is it worth changing my bio for yasha. Since the DDOS attack, I am a new user.

I had no problem accessing the site without the aid of a VPN. Though I do believe it is possible if you are blocked from it.

The SoftEther VPN will work just fine I'm sure. Just set yourself in Japan and close out when you're done and use CyberKitsune's proxy.

No because I had the game installed years ago and even redownloaded it on a 2nd HDD like a month or 2 ago from the site.
I'm getting Error 107 non stop now for no reason and still looking for ways to play again. Did somehow manage to get the game to download files from the server at the moment, but I know the moment it's over it will not run because pso2.exe always closes in Task Manager without notice and then Gameguard right behind.

error 107 means your ISP is Blocked and cannot find the SEGA website. this also won't let you play PSO2.

VPN or Proxy should fix the problems.
