A slower more lovely version of what appears to be skyscape's/floating continent's track. Wound up buying skyscape's track but wasn't the same song.

Was wondering if anyone would know what music disk it is that am trying to describe?

Good luck though, that jukebox disc isn't in player shops and if it was it would be incredibly expensive. The item code to get it was on the Infinity CD which required importing, and those codes are long expired by now even if you could find a sealed copy.

That's gonna be your best bet for looking. Nothing quite matches up 1:1 for that hairstyle from what I saw, but there's some that are a little similar. You'd think that type of hair would be in the game already given how often you see it used in anime, but its not.

You can still pull from Premium storage, after Premium has expired. They do not disappear. I often will throw a bunch of stuff into premium storage (that I'll need later) the day before my Premium expires.

Yes you can still use/display symbol arts saved to the 2nd, 3rd & 4th pages. You just cant edit them or save something else in those pages, until you renew your premium.

So, I've been watching a few Br/Hu Katana videos and for some reason, it looks like the players do much, much more damage compared to mine.
I've played Br/Hu Katana before and I went back to it after I had too much fun with Gunner.
Both Br and Hu are level 75 with this skill build:

My equips are Evil Rakuka + Magatsuhi + Uranus set with Vol Soul + Power III affixes.
My total S-Atk is around 2350, with a team buff at Lv6? (18% damage increase I think) I have around 2480 S-Atk power. With both the team buff and drink, my S-Atk is over 2600+.

Now, the question is, why am I dealing mediocre damage? On Ult Naberius, I only around 11-14k damage when I use Sakura Endo on mobs. With Guren Tessen, about 11-12k when doing the last slash.

On a boss like Vol Dragon, Bal Rodos, Rockbear etc. I can only reach around 50k damage if I hit a crit and if I hit a weak point. I've seen videos of level 50+ Br and Hu that can get up to 100k with Sakura Endo alone on Bal Rodos. The only circumstance where I can deal 100k+ damage is on Magatsu with a weak point open and WB'ed.

Am I doing something wrong? Did I mess something up on my skill tree?

Yes, the 7* Red series weapons; they have a new-ish "hidden" potential that boosts general damage when they are crafted. You unlock this potential with Photon Boosters, which you get from the CM shop (must hit CM2, stage 3 to unlock the part of the shop that has them, I believe). Yes, the 7* Red series weapons; they have a new-ish "hidden" potential that boosts general damage when they are crafted. Yes, my weapon is potted at Level 2 for now though. The weapon has light element on it at max attribute (50).

Yes, on SEA, Br is far more overpowered than JP, disregard that.
As for Katana Combat, after you activate it, you need to hit 50 times (be it the normal attack or PA, hatou is best for building it up) to max KC finish damage, I normally do 200k damage on SH Rodos

I'll go ahead and test exactly how much damage I do with KC finish.

I still feel kind of weak when playing with Br/Hu katana though. Enemies in Ult Nab takes only about 10k up to 20k (depending if the enemy has a weakpoint)

Over 2800 s atk here, 60 ele ideal karen (has no potential vs mobs). With drink I get ~17k per cut of sakura end, and 31k two-hit-damage of guren (~6k+~25k) on non-weak enemies outside of ult.

Not sure on my finish damage since I often use it against bosses, while I have katana gear running, and the fact I use an ideal karen... but I've seen ~180k hits on non-weakpoints. Your skill tree looks fine.

Assuming you are familiar with the concept of MPA's in this game as can spam ultimate.

Alternatively, could avoid CM entirely and straight buy a red weapon with its potential already unlocked from other players using the visiphone. But it's fun~

Emblem potential? As in Dragon/Darker damage reduction potential? Those are the reverse of species hunter potential, which boost all damage type if you fight the right enemies category with them. So yes, you can utilize his own themed weapon serie to resist his damage.

As far as S/R/T damage they does, I don't know. Althought I did read up that only few attack in the game were pure Tech, and any elemental tech is that element only. Meaning if I'm not mistaken, that Tech resist is rarely usefull. S and R can have elements associated to them, but I don't remember anymore how the resist system work for those.

Edit: Right, his sword strike should be strike based at the very least, maybe mixed with wind or darkness.

I've not bought AC from PSO2es (running on Bluestacks) in a month or so, and now when I try to, it confirms the purchase, and then it completely bypasses asking for my Google Wallet password (the prompt flashes across the screen) and goes straight into displaying 'your AC purchase has been cancelled'.

I know it might be a Google Wallet thing but in case anyone else has gotten the same error, help?

Would anyone be able to think of a reason my friend's game crashes every time he plays it for more than a few minutes? Sometimes he can play as long as 20 minutes, while other times he can barely make 5 minutes before it brings up the "pso2.exe has stopped responding" error. He only recently installed the game, but he has tried re-installing it as well as try running it without any patches. He has run down the troubleshooting menu, trying to fix the .exe's and even fixing GameGuard... but none of it changes the situation. He is able to play games like Warframe, so I do not think this is a graphical issue... if anyone has any suggestions, we would really appreciate it!

If you have Raptr, try turning it off before running PSO2. That fixed the Sudden Freezing Syndrome mine developed after the last maint.

To be safe, do not install Large Files and Story Patch, unless you really want to play the story. Some people report that they can cause freeze and crash. English main patch is fine though.

Swords as in time stop? That's a tech attack (T-DEF and tech resistance) and does qualify for Negative Emblem. His ordinary sword strikes are S-DEF and apply striking resistance.

On Vita: So go into lift/block selector: Very first option is my room, second is team room, third(Before B-101) is unknown to me. Lots of red text before choosing which concerns me. What is this option?

^'Transfer to Shared Ship'. Basically a server that can be visited by all players across different ships, to play Challenge Quest together.

Why the red text? Bcoz your status won't be brought to that ship. All your equipment (including your mag) will be striped off from you before you enter the shared ship. All player become Level 1 Challenger class.

Also, you can't change outfit or go to salon there, so make sure to wear your best outfit before entering, I guess? xD


When you return to the normal ship again, all the class levels/gear/mag/outfit will be returned to you like how you left it be before entering Shared ship.

When I select the first window I then have to select a weapon. When I do on the right side a selection of what is required is shown (meseta, pa disc, weapon), the PA disc bit is in red. 1) Why is the PA Disc red when I have a bunch of discs ready to go?

What I'm guessing is that you need PA Fragments, which you get from desynthing lv10+ PA discs. Here's a slightly outdated guide (http://www.bumped.org/psublog/pso2-crafting-system-mini-guide/), but it covers the basics.

Curious, since interrupt ranking has a lobby action ticket reward and was wondering if similar case.

You just get trophy and some FUN for CM ranking, there's no special items like Interrupt. Goes up to place 50 I think (Gold is 1, Silver is 2-10, Bronze is 11-50) with 1K or 2K fun, I forget the exact numbers though. I remember getting 2k for 1st place though.

2) Earlier I asked about crafting. From what I gather crafting can only be done if I dismantle some Level 11 PA Discs. Apparently these are an untradable item. At this stage I just wanna complete the tutorial thing (Dot on map pointing to block chooser, already done the dismantle order) how can I get some lev 11 PA Discs? Which quest gets me some? Bear in mind I am Vita so forgive me but need guiding by the hand.

3) Cirnopedia talks about using multi-use weapons to complete weapon quests. I assume I can buy something adequate from the player shops. What is the japanese phrasing or what do they look like? I am a Hunter/Bouncer.

4) Nearly done with Koffie etc. I note on Cirnopedia that there are tutorial orders from various NPC's. Do these strictly need to be completed to progress? I have done some but things like PSE Burst/NPC only/weapon only quests are becoming tiresome... Do orders overlap to other areas? For example I STILL have quests/orders outstanding in the forest Lv3 area. WTF? Could I accidentally 'complete' an order in another high level location?

Yes the PC version is better and yes I SHOULD go on that with English patch but my PC is not up to the job so please be as understanding as you can.

I have done some but things like PSE Burst/NPC only/weapon only quests are becoming tiresome... Do orders overlap to other areas? For example I STILL have quests/orders outstanding in the forest Lv3 area. WTF? Could I accidentally 'complete' an order in another high level location?

Yes the PC version is better and yes I SHOULD go on that with English patch but my PC is not up to the job so please be as understanding as you can.

1. I'm guessing you are talking about Cafe Points. Those are only available via logging in at a participating Net Cafe in Japan.

2. You can buy PA frags from the player shop; they look like PA discs but are called ＰＡフラグメント（打撃）for S-ATK ones(not sure how easy it will be to search them on the Vita), and you can also get them from time to time via Daily Crafts. Lv.11+ PA discs will only drop in Very Hard missions and up, but even then, you can still get lv10 and lower ones in them.

3. If you are looking at weapons on Cirno, ones that have a little blue sword icon next to them are multi-class weapons; also, when you search for weapons in the shop, any multi-class weapons you can use won't have the little red x on the item picture.

4. Only Koffie's orders are needed to unlock parts of the game, everything else is just there for convenience or to unlock NPC partner cards. The only other orders you absolutely need to keep an eye on are the extra SP ones from your Class trainers (Marlu, Lisa, Ohza, Azanami, Katori/Saga). Also, unless the order specifies a specific area, then you can complete the order in other areas (for example, Rockbears and King Yedes can appear as an E-Code in the Ruins area).

The total game size on the Vita will end up at ≈11GB after the update, so one solution is to delete the game and just downloaded it again after the patch goes live.
Your CPU is comparable to the minimum requirements for the game, but I think you might have problems running it on minimum without a dedicated GPU. I'm assuming it's just talking about character files that can be used in the offline character creator/salon. Your actual character is linked to your SEGA ID and is stored server side, so no need to worry about that.

They're pretty much the same with bows(rikauteri) for bossing
FOBR: less PP efficient, superior Fire/Ice/Lightning dmg.
TEBR: better buffs(Shifta Strike and Deband Toughness), better PP recovery, wand melee, less tech dmg than Fo with Fire/Ice/Lightning techs, no Flame Tech S Charge and Bolt Tech PP Save.

Te/Br has access to wands, while Fo/Br has access to rods. Te/Br gives a good damage bonus to wand melee and is pretty much one of the best classes in the game by virtue of having high mobbing damage (Zondeel > wand mleee, techs), high bossing ability (Banish Arrow combos, composite techs), excellent PP regeneration with PP Convert and Super Treatment (deliberately get status'd to use it), and some TA tricks.

Fo/Br on the other hand has higher tech damage for Force elements, Banish Arrow combos with very limited PP regeneration options that hamper its ability to do much in combination with Banish Arrow (meaning Te/Br still does Ilbarta better for Banish Arrow), and has to compete with Fo/Te, while Te/Br has excellent melee and tech capabilities instead of just being good at techs like Te/Fo would be.

For buffs, Te/Br has everything Fo/Br has but more of it. Shifta Strike, Deband Toughness, and Super Treatment being the most important. It also gains other useful support skills like Territory Burst. Fo/Br has no supporting skills in this area. Units are the same, just stick with T-ATK and PP. Te/Br has the highest potential wind/light/dark tech damage and the highest potential for Banish Arrow combos, while Fo/Br has the highest potential fire/ice/lightning tech damage. Neither are as strong as Fo/Te or Te/Fo for composite tech usage, however.

The last matterboard is obtained by completing 2 times the small story quest Xiao opens up for you.

The matterboard is directly given to you without any information on it. When you open your matterboard menu after the second run, it's just there.

Triboost is EXP, Meseta, and Rare drop rate boost. The daily boost will give you a general 30% boost max, as opposed to the special ones like the ones you pointed out. The nice thing is that you can still stack other boost items with the daily Triboost.

Did you download PSO2es in th playstore or did you use the english patch for pso2es to install it? Google has to see if you've downloaded the game officially before you can make transactions.

Unlocking new potential for certain weapons. Check JP wiki on weapon you want to unlock, on potential part, if the text is red, then it need PhotonBooster (careful, since last update, some weapon potentials is not yet updated).
It's used like PhotonSphere ...... but some potential need to use PhotonBooster to unlock, instead of using PhotonSphere.

You can get them for 3500 (or 3000, I forgot) ChallengeMiles each on ChallengeShop o-o You should be able to check them on shop.

But, it wont work for offclass weapon. Such as Evil Rakuka (katana) on a FIBR <---no 10% bonus

I also am having problems with quest markers not showing up when pick an instance to start. Sometimes they show up and sometimes they don't. So the strongest one depends on which of your ATK stat is the best. I know that for T-ATK, Ketos Imera (giant laser beam) does pretty good single-target damage. But Julius Nifta is also based on T-ATK, and is so good that you should probably just use that, regardless.
And I heard Zanverse does affect Photon Blast damage, but I'm unsure if the Zanverse needs to be surrounding you or surrounding your Photon Blast. I was guess that latter, so that's just a guess.

If that happens to you, your options are to either use the official launcher to update, or manually select "Check for PSO2 update" without (new method) after hitting "No" on the automatic prompt. Either one of those should avoid the issue that some people have with the New Method.

I think something is wrong with the files for rockbear, I found out my game crashes when there's a rockbear, after file checks and with no english patch I was able to enter area 3 but rb isn't moving and I can't hit it.

The game, and only the game, just flat out doesn't want to install. It says "App Not Installed" every time I try, through the Tweaker, from an .apk... Nothing works. I can download any other app, except for PSO2es. And I have plenty of storage, so that isn't an issue either.

I got the 'app not installed' error on my Bluestacks. when it first boots. I use the following: Bluestacks emulator, Qooapp for downloading the game/apk. I don't bother with the English patch myself. Anyway after a short time the whole thing 'loads' in and then PSO2es opens as normal. Are you using PSO2es on a memory card? If yes then wait a min or two. Sounds stupid but worked for me. Qooapp is great because when it's time to update I just go through Qooapp and update it that way.

I am using my Google Play to buy AC so happy days.

- Emergency Quest Profound Invasion (DF Elder + DF Loser) can drop 1 TMG, 1 Jet Boots and 1 Rifle (?)

- Ultimate Naberius can drop Nemesis series and Ares series (Nemesis are area drop, Ares are specific to Anga Fandarge enemy)

- Ultimate Lilipa can drop Slave series and Ares series (Slave are area drop, Ares are specific to Anga Fandarge enemy)

- Emergency Quest Tick or Treat 4 can drop Gal series and Daggers of Serafy (Gal drop only from Gal Gryphon -and rare variant- and Dagger of Serafy from DF Dorumble)

- Kuron Free Field XH can drop the Skull series (Skull are area drop)

Note: there is not 1 weapon for each type in the Gal and Skull series.

You can exchange for stones:
- Nemesis against 250 stones Galera Stones given as reward in Ultimate Naberius. You can also get stones from Hans and Franka Client Orders and you can buy 10 a week from the Casino prize shop at 300CC per stone. They come with 15% Light as element.

- Slave against 250 stones Yukulm...whatever Stones given as reward in Ultimate Lilipa. You can also get stones from Hans and Franka Client Orders and you can buy 10 a week from the Casino prize shop at 300CC per stone. They come with 15% Fire as element.

You can get badges in the Emergency Quests Profound Invasion XH and Tick or Treat 4 (XH has gold badges and silver badges but I don't know about other difficulties). They come with 15% element and the element depends on the weapon itself. The shop for this exchange is located left of the Recycle shop.

Austere and Invade weapons from the post above will be added to the game during the next update only.
Austere will require a lot of items from various sources to get (stones from Ultimate, Extreme Quests, Challenge shop, etc....) so you can already farm the required material now too.

If you plan on subbing Bouncer with Hunter, Switch Strike for JBs is an option. Though, don't expect to deal good damage with techs as tech for switch strike builds are for charging gear for vinto gigues only

Which abilities should I pick for force? 4 Slots available.I see nothing that wrong with apprentice soul, modulator, ATK3 and ATK boost for FO myself, if you're not going further than 4 slots- I run something pretty similar, only I blew way too much meseta on getting 6 slots for a bit more oomph. If you craft your Saiki for PP, you'll end up with a respectable amount, though fair warning, you will be squishy. Granted, I have 4x Spirita III's affixed (including weapon affixes), but my total's somewhere around 185. Combine that with that one TE ability that cuts your HP for a PP regen boost (I forget the name...) and I find I have nothing to complain about.

The CO unlocks at 65, but you can't actually get TE cubes till 75. It's probably so you can transfer TE cubes from a capped character over to get a leg up at 65.

Happened to someone I know who doesn't have premium, I quitted the block was had no premium space taken (yet) to allow them to join and then to rejoin. We gave up doing the EQ together when they ended up on a random SH block instead.

Kind of believe block changing settings were changed so that instead of block being full but person tried to get in -> moved into premium space, it became block being full but person tried to get in -> another block.
No evidence though! So could be wrong.

You generally wouldn't use bow for mobbing. It's pretty much for boss-killing in one way, or another via banish arrow combos with different combinations of kamikaze arrow, final nemesis, chase arrow, master shot, and probably a few other situational shots.

How good is the new Partizan PA?

I see literally everyone spamming it, even in situations where a quick Slide End/Assault Buster would've done the job just as well; seems more like a boss tool- though I do find myself using it a lot in Ult.

It feels strong, but I'm not sure how it compares to other Partizan PAs, or charged Ride Slasher/Rising Edge, Over End, etc.

Also, for that matter, where the hell does it drop? I had to buy it off shops to get Lv.10. I'm assuming Ult.

Are you referring to Tears Grid? there hasnt been a recent new one since then. its not bad on non moving targets or if things get grouped its good damaged
