Hi, I'm also having the same problem, just a bit different. I'm using a new laptop which uses Windows 8 pro 64-bit OS. Every time I click the [Game Start] button at the launcher, nothing ever happens, not even the GameGuard that shows up at the upper-left corner of the screen shows. There are no Error messages or any of that sort.
I have tried to delete and re-install, check the security permissions, turn the windows firewall and McAfee off, re-locate the SEGA folder location to every hard drives and even put it in an external hard drive and see if it would miraculously work lol. Non of it worked :-(
So I'm at a loss right now and I don't think that the specs of my laptop is a problem since i had been using a waaay older laptop (bought at probably around late 2009 to early 2010 and it worked on that laptop just fine (the old laptop didn't have Nvidia graphic card, this new one does). So I don't see why it wouldn't work here as well :-?
Any sort of solution / ideas would really help.:-)
