Question about RAM

Okay so i play at about 8-20 fps(on lowest settings) when im playing pso2(or any other game), and want to atleast get it to about 30-40 on average.

What i currently have:
RAM:2.00 GB
Processor: AMD C-50 1.00 GHz

How much ram should i buy for my computer to raise my fps to 30-40? What is a necessary amount of Ram?And i would like a specific suggestion of RAM cause i know nothing about this kind of stuff.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

That cpu is way too slow since that seems like a single core, the reason why you have low fps since the game requires a min of 1.8Ghz dual core or better, that cpu speed seems more like a netbook or a pretty old laptop or desktop so you pretty much need a new computer.
