Need alternatives.

I am having trouble switching weapons whenever I use different weapons that fit with my situation.I am a big TAer and it's really irritating that I have to press Fn+F1-F6 instead of immediate F1-F6.If I switch it from function keys to 1-6 keys, it's still a big problem for me, I am a bit slow on pressing some combination keys.

I am using an HP laptop (Without numpad) HP Pavilion g4 notebook PC.

Any help or alternatives?

I believe you can modify those settings to make it so your function keys don't need the Fn key to be held down to be activated.
