I'm generally a female character because they are more versatile than the male characters in PSO. Male characters might be stronger or have higher stats, but overall the females tend to have more balanced stats. It also doesn't hurt that they are easier on the eyes.

1. HUcast - Looks
2. HUnewearl - Looks and versatility (sp?)
3. FOnewm - Stats (definatley not looks)
4. RAmarl - Stats and Looks
5. FOmarl - Looks (i guess, didn't want
another newm and didn't want another
male.)
6. RAcaseal - Looks

I could go either way to be honest. Because I am a guy, I am a slight bit partial to wanting to pick a male character since he is/will be my avatar in the online world, a digital represtation of myself and I would rather not miss lead others as to what my sex is. Unlike others out there I have no problem picking a female either, I have played as a Hunewearl in the past and I did have fun and currently my main character is a Hucaseal and I think she rocks. More often than not however my choice of character comes down to looks, because of this I probably never ever will play as a Fonewm or a Fonewear. The other thing that affects my decission is the type of gameplay that I want to experience.

Yep, all female.
Playing a char hundred of hours means it has to please me visually, else I would never last that long.
Makes me want to find weaps and mags that becomes them too.

Er .. I have 2500+ hours logged on the DC alone, and I'm far for being the one with the most hours.
Lots of people on this board have more than 1000 hours I'm sure.

I always prefer the females.
Mostly, I like the MST and EVP bonus, and I like dagger and claw weapons best. Well, and that's the point. The combos with those weapons of the females are much more balanced than those of the males.
