What I want in a multiplayer game

I want bosses that are challenging, without being cheap.

I'll use PSU as an example. You go to fight de ragan in a team of 6 at low levels, with crappy gear. Some people might die, but with moons/scapes and the like, there's no real threat of failure. And at higher levels and with better gear, it's not even a fight. It's "can we kill this in 4 seconds, or 8?"

I want there to be a challenge, and a realistic chance of failure, even in a large team. Being able to solo or duo something should be an achievement, not something commonly done by anybody.

I have played it, and it does a decent job. Unfortunately I don't enjoy playing on the psp very much, and I don't have a wii. If MH was on the PS4 or something like that, however...

edit: After extensive (Read: 2 minutes) researching, I saw that MH Frontier G is going to be released for the PS3 if it comes to the US. Fingers crossed that it's released/good.

Sounds like things haven't gotten any better :X. Glad I got out when I did, I suppose. Such a shame considering the hype surrounding the game and with how much of a blast I had and the memories I made from PSO and PSU.

I will recommended FFXIV, personally. The story is great and the end-game fights are quite challenging. :)
