I'm looking for a keyboard adapter that could connect my PS/2 keyboard to a USB port. Unfortunetly, all I've been able to find are adapters that connect USB keyboards to PS/2 ports. Can anyone point me to a place where I may aquire the adapter I'm seeking? I'll be very grateful if you would. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

This is very confusing, reread what you wrote and clarify it if you expect anyone to help you, beacuse right now its very confusing. I work in a game store, I wouldnt mind helping, if I understood your question.

Looks like you want to convert a PS2 keyboard to hook up through USB, but its already made to hook up to the USB port on teh front of the system...so its confusing. Clarify adn Ill see if I know of anythin to help

Sciler: PS/2 is the standard "old" PC keyboard port, before they switched over to USB.

Kalbelgarion: Odd that you can't find that... you'd think it'd be the other way around, huh? I guess they expect everyone to just buy new keyboards, heh.

Is this (http://www.pcconnection.com/scripts/productdetail.asp?product_id=277146) what you want? The USB side is male, and the PS/2 side is female.
...Keyboards are male, right? <scratches head> I shouldn't try to think this late, heh.

Yep, Rotis, that was what I was looking for. But $25? Ouch...I suppose it would be cheaper just buying a new USB keyboard. Thanks anyway, though. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Yeah, seems like what you want is more expensive. :P They have converters that go the other way that are like $7, but the one I linked to there seemed to be the least expensive of the PS/2-device-into-USB-port ones. ($35, one was even $45... sheesh.)
