Hello I have been gone from PSO2 for a while and noticed a lot of new updates to the game including the new class.

my questions:

1)what is the overall feel of the class and how does it stack compared to other classes such as hunter? It looks like a damage over time class, how good is it for bosses or solo/mob clearing?

2)this class main stats is dexterity @.@? this seems a bit weird, does this mean people go all out dex for more damage or something? how is the mag stats for this one is it the same as hunter with all out S-attack and maybe a few points into dex?

ranged classes had a easier time with the game before did they change this or is it the same? ( fo and rangers were easy mode before )

any information on the class is appreciated.

1) Other classes for BR? Unless you want using other weapons for your BR (Or FO or TE for Jack of all Trades), the only profitable sub for BR is HU. RA can be a good choice, but only if you want playing with bows.

2) It's recommended playing a BR with full DEX, mainly for Braver mag. However, you can play with 125 S-ATK/R-ATK and 50 DEX for getting a full Katana/Bow character, getting 50 DEX for trying equipping BR weapons. Furthermore, you shouldn't forget that many BR weapons requires DEX, although some weapons requires S-ATK or R-ATK, being extremely rare other stats.

3) RAs and GUs are still being the king of DPS. They don't need parties so... you know.

Greetings.

Well, the Katana is really versatile and deadly, so long as you sub Hunter. Good AoE, good single target, and you're invincible while outputting your biggest burst damage.

I'll say it's at least comparable to Hu/Fi or Fi/Hu. It's mostly weapon choice at this point.

The Bow is a bit different, and while it is powerful, it's not really versatile. Still a great ranged single target option for hybrid or pure Katana builds, though.

I'd argue that katanas are surpassing FI PAs in both ease of mobbing and boss killing speed very easily now.

Not going to mention hunter since their weapons are pretty heavily unused, and outclassed these days except for partisans for the sacred skewer, and assbuster occasionally. They're primarily a subclass for buffing striking and ranged damage around 90% of the time.

The best katanas, and bows in the game don't require dex (and some with dex requirements don't ask for any more than what you'd get from just leveling), but quite a few before them do. If you're setting your sights high/lucky, you won't need to invest in braver mag, or dex.

That's why i prefer a FI/HU for full melee DPS than HU/FI. They're faster, can regenerate PP easier than their HU brothers (Talking about attacking with no PA attacks), and finally, although Over End is the strongest Melee PA in this game, FI has got more reflexes than HU.

3)What does average stance do? is it like a bootleg version of fury stance that is a buff that boost over all damage?

4)katana combat can someone explain this one to me also? this one sounds confusing.

5) so the majority of braver use full dex mag that sounds a bit weird, won't their damage be complete crap without some s-attack?

3) Average is basically a Fury Stance that affects all damage. Or a Brave/Wise Stance without a positional requirement. Or any number of things that give 10% more damage for 10 SP.

4) An active skill you'll need to place on your palette. Toggle it on to enable a 20s long "stance" which will make your normal attacks dash to your target (even in the air) before hitting them. Toggle it off to initiate Katana Finish, which deals more damage based on how many times you hit enemies during Katana Combat. Note that you must manually deactivate it, since simply letting it expire automatically won't trigger KF.

Combat JA increases your damage during KC, Combat Escape makes you invincible during KC, and KF increases your KF damage.

5) Yes and no. Dex itself does increase your damage, and at the same rate that Atk would as well, but it's the minimum instead of maximum damage that rises. With Braver Mag, you get a good amount of Atk to go along with your Dex. You can also still use a pure Atk mag if you'd like.

3. aight, all kinds of damage but lesser extent of fury stance. you can use both of 'em

4.this makes you "homing" to nearby enemies, like Raging Waltz. if you attack enough in this mode, you can use this skill again to execute the Katana Finish, which is an AOE attack

5.that's what Braver Mag is for
