Stuck in conversation with NPC's

has anyone encountered an issue where if they try to talk to an npc the camera zooms up but nothing happens.

I'm using the EN patch with large files and story patch. Going to do a file check and check each one in the mean time.

After some Investigation its the English Story patch that's causing the issiue.

A friend and me encounter the same problem - so far I got it from talking to Xie and Pudding.

also have the same issue happens with most NPC's for me, I've re-patched and repatched doesn't fix

Yeah, same here. Can't talk to Xie which is mighty disappointing..

Any way you can get out of it without having to restart the game?
