Trying to maximize damage with rifles any suggestions on a build or decent build

Good PAs are:
Rifle: Homing Emission (bosses), Impact Slider (16)
Launcher: Cluster Bullet, Rodeo Drive, Divine Launcher
Gunslash: Addition Bullet, Aiming Shot, Thillsplosion

This is my build for general gameplay. The damage bonus from First Hit is pretty good but it's going to be useless for bosses because you'll always start off with a weak bullet for those.

Adding onto adios' PAs there, I would use Diffuse Shell for Assault Rifles. Those are my top 3 PAs for each weapon. They've got some high damage output and cover multiple ways of hitting weakpoints on various enemies. Weakpoints are pretty much the only way for Ra to get high damage, so try different things out and don't just stick to one PA for multi-purpose because Ra doesn't have that type of PA.

I just can't get the hang of this build I use all the recommended PA but I still feel underpowered I play as a gu/Hu or br/Hu

Well, Ra/Hu kind of is underpowered when you compare it to Gu/Hu or Br/Hu in general.

Gu/Hu doesn't suffer as much from hitting non-weakpoints, a 200% damage boost from doing a flip with TMGs, paired with strong PAs.
Br/Hu has got some ridiculously strong PAs and good utility.

Oh yeah, and some Ra PAs are a bit difficult to use to get the most out of them.

I always forget about Diffuse Shell... probably because I never found a 16 so it was useless lol >_>
