when ever I equip my Alva Gigush or any sword and switch to that slot, the weapon palette comes up blank and completely empty, pressing buttons does nothing at all.
why?? how do I fix it?
I can equip other weapons and use them, like gunblades and spears, but I cant use swords at all.

as you can see, my palette is blank, devoid of icons, and does nothing when I press buttons.
