Just started playing PSO2 again and came across the idea of the Braver tree for a subclass for my RA and how it compared HU sub.

Here's what I got:

HU: https://imageshack.com/i/go5t97p
BR: https://imageshack.com/i/nh8js2p

Yes、sub HU; bigger damage bonus + Assault Buster.

As for the HU tree.... I suggest this:

You will want Partisan gear (mandatory for vh ta imo) and step attack instead of maxing Fury Critical.

EDIT: Unless you're actually going for records. But in that case which classes you choose should be based on the TA anyway.

Hunter: 193% Ranged damage (220% for Striking, which includes Crazy Smash but not Rodeo Drive)

Braver: 143% to weak points, and 157% for like... Aiming Shot and that's it.

I think HU, at most, doubles your attack power with all the modifiers it gets. BR only does around 40%, and that's only to weak spots. As a sub, BR doesn't seem all that strong. It only seems great if you'll use a katana or bow.

Any class that can use a lambda patty lumiere should be able to one-shot in VH TAs really. The gear would be just to one-shot groups, like the spardans in desert area 1, guardines at start of ltunnels area 2, wolves in nab I area 1, etc.

Thank you for all your feedback. I'm pretty sure I'll stay with my HU subclass.
