Color Change Pass question

I want to buy the Snow Ol Blink for my character problem is it's a few 100k more than I have atm. I could afford to buy the Orange Ol Blink and a rappy suit though, so my question is this.

If I buy those two items and trade the rappy suit in for a color change pass, could I dye the orange one white?

if its a universal outfit you cant recolor it, if it can only be worn by human newman and duman you should be able to recolor it.

In my experience, if the costume has a "color box" under its item description; it can be recolored.
Special costumes (ones usable by all races) tend to be locked to the color you got them in.
