Why do you need a 10* weapon pass?

If your answer is "to buy a 10* weapon" then how are you going to buy a 10* weapon to turn into a 10* weapon pass if you don't have a 10* weapon pass?

Oh you have a point:P Sorry I worded that wrong. I meant was i'm wanting to do a trade with someone for a 10*weapon. Sorry i've never anything as far as actual trading in pso2. So maybe i'm thinking about this the wrong way.

Unfortunately you can't directly trade 10* weapons or units. You'll need to find one in the wild to trade in for a pass

It forces people to actually play the game.
There are plenty of ways to find 10* weapons easily. They're everywhere.
