Hi i am new in PSO2 and i play in ship 02 as Puzzle a GU/HU.
I saw differents build for the GU/HU and i also saw this video :

It looks like the 2nd build deal more dps than the first one.
But i want to know what you think between those 2 build of the video here :

Because in group you are always full hp so its better he told me..

So i wanna know what you think ?

Rare mastery gunners is good to take also ?

use the one in the build thread. The sustainable DPS build is the Gu/Hu build while the burst is Gu/Ra

obviously the 2nd build "deal more dps" because the 1st one is so terrible, its probably something Arksenth thought up.

2nd is good, what everyone should use

3rd is terrible, did arksenth make this one too? PP restraint is for spam ER, but you must max R-ATK not ZRA

no, rare master is worst skill, unless you have no else. maybe arksenth get it to be special

1 point of rare mastery is pretty good. 30 Atk for 1SP is slightly better than 1% bonus damage for just having a 10* weapon or better, do not go any higher than this though as it caps at 50 just like R atk up. so 9SP more wont even double the effects,

i dont know who is Arksenth, sorry. i just see the video.

I know 3rd is terrible, i dont like it.

But build number 1 and 2 look like the same just 1 max R atk and other one take Zero range critical.

So why is it so terrible to take Zero range ? Is R atk worth better ? Does that depend of the duration of the fight ?

no, take sero range, you get a lot of damage from it. just be aware that you have to be really close to get the effects

[SPOILER-BOX]The ZRC Build : useful only for Crafted weapon, and will shine only if you play in close combat. I do use this build until I got *11 ZRA Tmg recently.

Well, I only have Yash9k and crafted Yash2kH at that time, and for Yash2kH with this build dish out more damage than yash9k with Messiah Time ^^;

ZRC Build will give more damage if :
- Using crafted weapon (Max craft), Yash2kH is the best one now.
- You don't have Brauvint or better, and restricted to melee use only.

For long-range, you're gonna need to rely on things like Pandora Extreme / Heretic tmg (don't craft them ...... ), since the damage for crafted weapon isn't stable.[/SPOILER-BOX]

[SPOILER-BOX]R-Atk Build : Use this if you can get *10 (Yash9k is still good, I pursue the ZRC build before, since kinda wanted to deal more damage for bosses through Messiah Time with gears available at that time.)
Should have put 1 lv on Rare Mastery ..... I didn't put 1 point because of my stupid mistake >.<

As long as you can manage your PP, it'll be all right to leave APPR. I use R-Atk tree now, since I got *11 ZRA Tmg (Don't forget to put 1 Point for Rare Mastery, make R-AtkUp3 to lv 5).[/SPOILER-BOX]

I didn't put any points in APPR, since I've been training to manage my PP (I trained to do so, since Gunner available for the 1st time). Still need to improve, but it's not that bad.

The idea of not putting APPR at all, is to kill before I run out of PP ^^;

But, better try the game by yourself first. Following the Green marked skill tree in Official Build thread is great. After that, you can mix the skill tree to suit your play-style ^^

Note : Since *11 kinda easier to obtain now, ZRC build is obsolete, sorry :< I'll delete the older one. I'll try to put the newest one, because it seems I forgot to upload it due to irl things :<

I find APPR really useful, only having to do one or two flips to be able to PA again as opposed to 4-6.

The first build is only good with extended Yas2k, and honestly it's going to be lacking even then. The second build is awful. The third build is closest to the optimal build.

Either this or remove all but 1 from chain trigger and put the rest into ratk up.

I honestly don't think you need chain trigger. I haven't seen anyone (save for 1 or two people) use Chain Trigger.

1pt in CT is all you want/need for bosses. You aren't exactly wasting the point considering your other option is just r-atk up.

I only use chain trigger in falz arms nowadays.

And even those can be too fast if I'm unlucky.

any other boss in SH is just too fast most of the time.

I mostly only use it if I'm soloing or taco'ing with... less than ideal pugs.

APPR is amazing. One flip and you can Heel Stab again.

lv1 CT is great. It's almost worth the fistpump if you activate it without building any chain!

I have GM tmgs potent 3 + 24 ice and wear mizer soul shoot 3 & boost on all my units soon boost on GM aswell 2200 - 2400 is my current r atk and Ct is where I got my most dmg from 40 - 50k stream dmg on falz arms with rebelion 30 - 40 with infnty fire but outside of CT my dmg is pretty bad....

I want to kill fast as Bravers or other gunners or at least be as fast or almost as fast if even possible, shunka is just power, and I fall short all the time...

My class says gunner so yeah I am gunner, why ask?
I had s roll before but felt irrelevant to pas is it really that important to dmg?

Ah I had second skill maxed during very begining before stopped spending
