Question about Playstyle

Silly question about the option, but is the check box for "1 person" playstyle like on PSOBB where it changes the spawn count and difficulty to that of only one player rather than a party?

That checkbox is a flag to other players, letting them know what to expect in the instance you create. If you truly want to solo, you should be password protecting your multi-party areas as well. Spawn counts do scale based on the number of people in the party (or multi-party area), but enemy strength and toughness is determined solely by the enemy level.

Yeah, how many enemies spawn are only determined by the actual number of players. Even if you don't check the box you will still only get the spawn count for 1 player, if you are playing alone that is.
