How to make Xbox triggers work on PC?

I have a Wired 360 controller, but the Left and Right Triggers don't see to work when I try to assign them. Is there anything I can do to make them register?

this might help you just case if you do have latest driver for your xbox 360 controller and still not working for you. You can trying this freeware software it's called Xbox360CE its tool that aloud you to emulate any game pad to think its xbox 360 controller. you need a bit of brain power to understand this tool mapping freeware.

Also if your playing Online on the PC version like PSOBB. Please be sure to hit F11 KEY to switch from keyboard mode to controller mode. Because sometime for the first time connecting it with your controller or Any game pad wont get a automatic response for your controller with PSOBB

Yup. I read somewhere, though, that the Triggers aren't buttons, but instead represent the Z-axis, so it doesn't sound like there's going to be any way to manually assign them without a third-party tool.

I use these drivers for my xbox 360 controller for PSO BB. They work really well, never had a problem with it.
