Servers are up i just played for a it....voice chat is cool and the set up is ultra fast since it takes all your Gamertag information so you don't need to write anything down....lobby names are weird,not sure what they mean.

Yes, you do. It needs to atleast have the X-box LIVE system file on the X-box hard drive to play, but supposedly you don't need an active LIVE account to play offline.

Anyone notice how clean the Xbox version looks? It's odd, but you can notice somewhat of a difference between the GC and Xbox versions.

Yeah, the graphics seem slightly more detailed. Plus the sound is better. The loading time is slightly shorter, and it doesn't frikken save so often, yay!! Even online it hardly ever saves at all! Not at the bank, not at the stores, and I didn't even notice it entering a game.

The graphics are a bit sharper (but that's probably because of the S-Video I use my Xbox on right now).

They make really, really nice use of 3D sound in this game, espicially how they use the basis of the direction of the sound on your character and not on the camera. A couple other things I've noticed; enemy sounds have a wider pitch range than previous versions, and when Meseta is being transferred, the sound effect has a much higher pitch to it (which sounds a bit weird now).

I can't wait to get online in nine days (when I can get back to the broadband).

Got mine, went to work with my Xbox and 8 hours later i have a lvl 10 Racast, bwhahaha.....the graphics def look sharper and the sound fx is reworked and crisper, hey theres no fuzzy haze over the grass in forest to create distance, but there is still pop up more noticeable in f1 then f2..... well back to the caves, yippie

Holy crap its sooo awsome...all my friends were like "you won't be as hooked on it as much as you were"..bullcrap..when i used to play i didn't wake up and before school turn it on and play it. Just got the game about 4 hours ago. I love this game! Last time I've ever played PSO was v1 on the DC.
