XBox: Can i get a sure answer here?

Alright i've heard alot of yes and no and i haven't gotten a good answer for this... Can you play PSO offline without being hooked up to the internet. I'm just wondering casue i hear alot of people talking about it, and since i can't try it yet(DAMN STORES!!!) could somebody unhook their internet or something, and then try to play offline. Um ya alright thx.

from what i heard(i don't have it), you can play w/o internet, but u have to pay the $50 fee for xbox live.

PSOX needs a gamertag.

If you have a buddy that has Xbox Live, he can bring his GamerTag on a mem card to your box. However, if you go online after that, you'll have trouble using them if your friend still plays online.

Buy Xbox live AND register ONLINE. THEN you can play offline (without ever reconnecting).
