Server Connection Timed Out

Okay, so I've been spending a lot of time on trying to figure out what to do about this. When the DDoS first started I was able to use a VPN to log in, but I decided to wait until the servers became more stable. Now I'm back and I really want to play. I've tried using several different VPNs, and I tried using Pingzapper. No VPN seems to work (although, I am able to launch the game and the ship status is online). VPNs keep giving me a server timed out error. Pingzapper gives me a PuTTY error saying Server: Connection Timed Out. Using Pingzapper also causes ship status to appear offline. I also spent a day waiting for PS02 to reinstall. That was a waste of time since it still doesn't work.

Any solutions?

EDIT: Okay, idk why, but it's working now O.o? I launched the game, then I connected via VPN. All of a sudden it works.
