Heads up! The Legend which is me is returning to online PSO as soon as amazon.co.uk can be bothered to send out my ruddy broadband adaptor. Anyway, I would like to know whether or not NOLLERS and hackers are as big a problem as on the DC (right ******* they were I'll tell ya). Nothing more annoyin than reaching 125 then getting Nolled at the end of Dark Falz Fourth form on ult. Thats life! And also have any items been banned? Are 60%+s still banned? Anything like that I would really appreciate.

Chow!

NOL was fixed after version 2. I think they raised the % limits up in EP 1&2, but I don't know what to.

%'s can go up to 100% in one area.

If you don't mind my asking, but what is a noller?

It is a hack that turns characters into a HUnewearl named NOL. It was on the DC.

Noller is a person that does that...

And no it is not..

Ok... A NOLer is someone who uses GameShark, CodeBreaker or some other cheat device to alter your characters save data. They usually change your character into that of one of the games NPCs(Non Playable Characters or something like that). You lose all things in your inventory, but not bank. Sometimes cheaters would turn you into a clone of them, this is known as dark clone. Overall, it just messes up your data and makes the baby Jesus cry..and stuff.

Oh, and it is NOL because I believe NOL was the first character anyone was turned into, thus it became associated with NOL, so NOLing. You can be changed to anyone of the NPCs such as, Kireek, Ash, Tobokke, anyone of 'em. (If I am wrong on the NOLing thing, don't flame me or anything, please. But correcting me kindly is good, so do that.)

Long story short (I will try), NOLing is when your character is altered by being changed into another character. Usually, you will be turned into NOL (from that guild quest) or some other character. I've read stories where people have even been someone like Rico (though I don't know if that was NOLing or just someone using a code). Basically, not a good thing to happen to your char. You're kept at a very low level (I don't think you can gain exp) & your character (more often than not) ends up looking ridiculous (it's meant to be an evil prank). Recommendation: if this happens to your character, you may as well erase it as it's no longer the same. The only thing worse than NOL is CK (Character Kill), more commonly known as corruption. Corruption can be a server error or through a hacker's actions (which usually ends up being a combo of the two). Hope this answers your question...

Might as well tell what ya know. I had to retype mine once because I clicked submit and it said page cannot be displayed, I hit back and the text box was empty... I was like "BLARG!" and stuff... So this one was a bit shorter... Well, I am just trying to accumulate posts, I guess. I'll go now...

I know what you mean. Took me a while to get my post count up & it's still not as high as I'd like. Guys like Abdur & the like have thousands...I mean damn...we talk about the game more than we play. That's sad... LOL http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

you can counter it! it happened to me once. just remove the memory card and turn off the comp, ok you lose everything you had gained up until that point but id rather lose a few hours of play than a few hundred hours
