Is there a way to backup your characters?

I just got a new memory card in the mail today, and I was thinking is there a way you can back up your characters in case of a FSOD? Would it be as easy as copying your PSO files just to another memory card after you play or would you need to do something else? All of this would be for GC.

there's no way to backup your characters. if copying your files to and from a memory card were possible, it would be too easy for dupers to abuse.

You COULD store your data on a USB memory card that you can order from National Console Support (NYC based game importers) but you have to be REALLY careful with online data becuase the server timestamps your card and if you revert to an old save it will erase your item data.
