Sony Vegas 11: Should I Buy?

I'm looking to buy some video editing software, and almost everyone recommends Vegas. I need it for my 1080p gameplay vids, becuas ewhat I have currently compresses it too much and degrades the quality. Vegas 11 is $25 bucks on amazon prime currently (versus I think its normal price of $130, thanks prime!) However, is there really that big a difference between Vegas 11, and its 12 and 13 versions? Or is it Sony just overcharging on their software and I'll be just fine with Vega 11?

If anyone's wondering, I currently use the Windows Movie Maker, and while its easy to use, its limited in what I can do so I need an upgrade ASAP.

you can download it within minutes kid. i prefer premiere. youre an idiot if you buy software.

If no one bought the software and pirated it, there wouldn't be any updates or revisions of the current software.

As far as I know, Vegas 11 is more than enough, but the newer versions make the compression more streamlined.
