Watching this video (http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm23305920), got me wondering about those smooth framerates on it.
Before it fried, my 7970 Lightning was overkill for this game. I could play this maxed limited to 120FPS, while watching Youtube vids on the background and usage barely reached 50%
Framerate and image quality are priorities to me, and it always seemed to me that my PSO2 gameplay was very smooth, in fact I never noticed any kind of framerate issue until I started watching PSO2 vids on Nico.
My experience is very different from those on the vids, the framerate is so constant and smooth, I am wondering if it's because I am using an AMD card instead of nVidia? I didn't have hiccups or frameskips, but it is very different. Before, for fun I tested the PSO2 benchmark to see how my card and processor fared, and I scored 23k which I found it's very good for the game.
Please post your videocard and if your gameplay is just like the vid on the thread above, I'd like to know.
