It was an idea that came to me. You basicly are the character without the cards, you play a mag card to set your status. Judging by your status you can play other cards, say techs that do damage (foie perhaps) or heal (like resta). Then play attack cards, (say that your mag has a high power say 60, play saber strike that does 20 plus power damage, do 80 damage minus defense to your enemy player). It sounds confusing at first but it's a good idea and sega should actually think about it with wizards of the coast. This could be the next magic or pokemon!

Heh heh! They apparently lose those cards at last years' E3!

Hmmm...looks like PSO will never make a card battle without these *flashes prototypes in hand*.

All part of a larger plan to...dominate the world! Whoo!

Nintendo Power has PSO Card Battle listed as a Gameboy Advance game...and you know how many card games are turned into gameboy games n' such. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

Wait...

What does a card game have to do with miniatures?

I'm also confused as to how they lost them if they kept them in that sealed plastic case and why those missing models are stopping work on a card game.

Not much, unless you're talking about the Warhammer 40K card game. The models that were stolen were apparently used as references for the images on the cards. IMHO, they're totally replaceable (they even have pictures of them) and more of an anoyance to ST than a real setback in the development of the game.

You'd be surprised at how easy it is, especially in a giant convention in LA. Again, I don't think their absence is causing any real setback. What's ST doing making a card game anyway? Couldn't they instead focus that energy and those resources towards the next PSO?

That sounds like an incredibly RETARDED idea, but it WOULD be pretty sweet if they were to make it not suck.
