During installation after it does the checking 25000/25000 it freezes.... kinda?

I got a new gaming pc and i was going to install pso2 because i played it on my laptop a bit and enjoyed it. I connected to a vpn with softether just as i did and had to from my laptop, a japan server. And after i open the launcher, it does the "checking"/28000 thing,

then when i try and patch/install the game it sticks at 0% and doesn't move. Ideas?

it's probably because there's a maintenance today you can try again after maintenance but if you want a hassle free installation if you are planning to use Tweaker Patches, try out Arks-Layer English Setup (http://arks-layer.com/setup.php) of the game.
