PSO2 Tweaker keeps crashing

I recently installed pso2 tweaker and installed the english patch, large english pack and story pack. But every time i click "Launch PSO2" the game opens then crashes instantly and says pso2.exe has stopped working and i have to close it again. I have checked for missing files and there are none as well as updates. I am using windows 8.1 if that is of any importance and just in case my PC specs are:

CPU- Intel core i5 2.7 Ghz
GPU- Nvidia Geforce GT 710m
RAM- 6GB
OS- Windows 8.1
HDD- 750 GB

I'm not sure what else to add, I used to play this game a while back and really want to play it again. I would really appreciate anyones help with my problems.

Are you using full-screen mode?. I am having some issues with full-sreen mode (though only during alt tabs) and others have too so maybe yours is similar. Try running it in Virtual Full screen mode or Windowed mode.
