First day online

I've got the GC version of PSO and I just got online today (i've had the game since christmas tho). I have to say, it is awesome! There are some nice people on these servers, not nice as in they give everyone items, but just not hackers and people like that. Infact I havn't even seen a hacker yet! No problems either, i've been on for 3 hours straight, in and out of games/lobbies/ships/etc.

I'm a FOnewm named Satoshi, I'll be on Antares 8 most of the time, or Antares 1. Can't wait to see y'all! lol I'm just extremely happy and hopped up on caffiene.

My parents might let me get the stuff for it this summer though, if I keep my grades up http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_shy.gif But the only thing I am worried about online is that I have heard sooooo many stories of people losing their characters for whatever reason, hackers, turning off game while online, FSOD, etc. Is this really that big of a problem? Cuz if it is, then I'm not quite so sure I want to go online.

I've been online since yesterday... 1 FSOD, but only lost meseta (paltry amount).

Definitely worth the risk.

Same here, you might be safe for a while (200 maybe even 1000 hours online) but your gonna end up getting raped by SEGA sooner or later lol.

Dont play online to much if you don't wanna gamble with your char everytime you enter a game lol

Hmmm, enlighten me on what gambling would entale, I been playing since Nov 2002 on GC....i have 6 characters, look at profile 4 out of 6 characters posted, none of which i gambled or lost, i take it your referring to corruption? Reply......

I'd say it's pretty safe, but then again i've only been online for a day. But still, I like it, like i said, i havn't encountered anything bad. There's always a small amount of people who don't encounter problems, i may or may not be in that group, too soon to tell...
