... I'm deathly afraid that Gal Gryphon will kick my ass and then eat it.

I'm a level 24 HUcast and have some fairly decent weapons, but never before in my entire history of playing PSO have I been afraid of a boss. Not even Dark Falz way back in version 1 on DC scared me.

Can someone give me a reccomended level, or at least describe some of the patterns he has? I really don't want to have to slog back through the unlocking of the gate (Seaside/Gi Gue is the BANE OF MANKIND) if at all possible.

Thanks for the help.

If you're playing on Normal mode, then you should be just find at your level.

You are slightly low level to be fighting the Gal Gryphon. BUT if you can dodge is power attacks you should be fine. Let's see.. about his pattern i don't remember exactly but I remember his attacks. When it is flying around you it launches two tornados at you which are fairly easy to dodge just run away from them. It will also slash at you with it's wings (maybe it's horns i don't know) while it is flying. When it lands since you are a HUcast this is the time to nail it. Pull out your largest single target weapon and aim for one of it's back feet. It will fire a energy blast in front of it so you are safe if you are behind it. After that RUN AWAY! it will stomp at you and this is it's most powerful attack. These are all of the Gal Gryphon's attacks that I remember. GOOD LUCK!

I beat him with my RAcast at level 17... Just get behind him and shoot him with something. I was way behind him and did not get hit with his stomp most of the time. When it did hit me it nearly killed me. You have alot more HP than my character does and alot more power, so you should have no problem, just have 10 monomates, 10 dimates, and that should be more than enough. Good luck! http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

I was rather dissapointed with the Gal Grifon. It was too much like a dragon boss. Frankly sonic team wern't too inventive with there bosses in epi 2 were they.

1 suggestion...DO NOT MELEE on Gal. That's all the advice I'll give http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

Pah, I melee'd with my L51 FOmar all the way against Hard Mode Gal Gryphon nary a few hours ago. With my new Grass Assassin's Sabers +10 and my 148 POW Mag, of course. It went down in ten minutes without me dying once. Very different compared to the first time I fought it on Normal... I lost four Scape Dolls and won with only 15HP left. SKILL.

Thanks for the advice, I beat him 10 minutes ago.

I had forgotten that I had a Charge Autogun +5 with 30% A.Beast. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime2.gif oh well

My first impression of Seabed:
Recobox/Recon : Easy. Keep shooting.
Dolmolm/Dolmdari : Easy. Keep away.
Sinow Zoa/Zele : Easy. Keep looking.
Morfos : Easy. Keep moving.
Deldepth : Easy. Keep your EVP up.

But as for the Delbiter:

[b]OH. MY. GOD. THESE THINGS ARE THE BANE OF MY PSO EXISTENCE[b]

Yea, those Delbiters are hell. The have insane HP, Attack, and stuff. I got beat up bad by one on normal mode.. I was level 41. Damned powerful mofos. They are what the Chaos Bringers are not; difficult!

My advice is in two parts...

1st: Dont suck.
2nd: Dont die.
