Item: Hunting D-Parts ver2.01?

I'm looking to get some D-Parts for my HUcast to use until I'm high enough for my Guard Wave. So far, the best Bulclaw hunting I've found is the 5 or 6 of them that aren't too hard to find in Doc's Secret Plan. I'm a Redria, so I'm looking in VHard Ruins.

Has anyone been through this before and know what my odds are? I'm balancing hunting D-Parts versus just waiting it out. I have four slot armors up to holiness, and I think a three slot custom frame. If you found one yourself, please post how you hunted it down, how long it took, and whether or not you think it's worth it.

If it helps, my HUcast is currently level 62 on Ult Forest/Caves.

Both of my droid hunters have D-parts 2.1 and they're both level 81 (which I believe is the level requirement for that armor). It's good armor for droids until 101 (Guard Wave) - a lot better than Holiness or Guardian Armor.

I found my own Dparts v1.

Basically what I did was 'Doc's secret plan' runs.
Killed the 6 bulclaws then restarted. It took maybe about 20-30 runs to find it.

I'm about to look for the Dparts2 just like you.
It's the exact same strategy as described above. I figure the time spent looking should be comparable.

20-30 runs. That hurts. Oh well. At least I'll get some xp in the mean time. I'm at 65 now with my HUcast, and he can hold his own against Bartles finally. A few more levels, another God/Body or two, and it's Pal Rappy hunting time.

I was doing a mission (Forest of Sorrow, I think) & I hadn't found a Hildeblue (only saw 1 on DC). Well, something told me do a little more exploring before I go back to Pioneer 2. I do so & found another Hildebear, killed him & I found my DParts. Man was I shocked. My HUcast isn't a high enough lvl yet but I hope to at least try it though. One slot btw. Also found a Custom Frame (3 slots)...think it was a Bulclaw (don't quote me), I really can't remember where but THAT was a good find as well. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

The custom frame I found was three slots as well. I wonder if there's a formula that biases the slot count one way or another. Considering offline players find jack for add slots, it would suck to get a D-Parts ver2.01 with 0 slots.

Makes me wonder if I should hunt it at all. Four slots of God/Body on anything is probably better than almost every rare armor with 0 slots, right?

well i found my D-parts 2.10 in v-hard runis, from a bul claw with my pinkal, to bad my only android is lvl 8 =P no slots but thats what add slot is for
