Game crashes while walking

I've finshied my 10 hours download + installation of PSO2 today.
Like the title says, I can move one step during the tutorial, then the game freezes and I get a message "pso2.exe has stopped to function" (in german it's "pso2.exe funktioniert nicht mehr") and I can't do anything within 30 seconds on my PC before the game shuts down.
Skipping the tutorial causes the same error.
I tried it both with and without the english files, but neither worked.
Anyone got an idea where the problem could lie?

Try running a file check. Also, try lowering your graphics settings.

Both didn't work.
I guess I'll try installing the game on my C-Driver rather than on my K-Drive.
Maybe that will help me.

EDIT: Installing it on my C-Driver solved it.
Though I don't understand why the harddrive it is installed on mattered :/
