Hey everyone,

Just for fun, why don't you tell us what your occupation is? I'm a full-time student and part-time cook at a local restaurant called DT'z Diner. For you non-Albertans, it's a restaurant similar to Applebee's.

I currently work at a property tax company, we help businesses know how much they owe for thier leased equipment. Job sucks, but it pays well.

This summer I go back to working at a summer camp in the mountains, can't wait.

I'm a full-time assh...oh..you mean in real-life.

I'm a full-time Therapy Aide for Appalachian Rehabilitation. It's nothing spectacular, but then you add the myriad of other job titles I've had at the same time, such as Computer Specialist, Regional Secretary and Contractor, and the real fun begins. Yes, nothing beats working 120+ hours in two weeks.

Thankfully and regretably I've had the extra job titles shaved off to lighten my load, so I've cut back to about 90+ hours every two weeks.

The main thing that has changed, is that instead of working 8+ hours a day in a facility(Retirement homes or Doctor's office) and then going home to work another 8 or so hours, I now get off at usually the same time and thats about the end of my work for the day.

A usual day for me consists of helping the therapists with their treatments, going to afew meetings, keeping the paperwork in order and filing it, being a communication line between the therapists and the facility/nursing staff and cleaning up or keeping things in order.

Overall, it's a hell of a nice job. I get to work with the elderly, and to be honest, there's quite a sense of humor to be had throughout the day.

I'm just in junior high, but I sometimes (like once a month) go with one of my music teachers to churches and such to perform music. I get about 40 bucks a gig so i guess you could consider it a job.

I go to high school...and stuff. I think being a sophomore counts as its own full-time job http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

Aside...I fax stuff for doctors' offices...12 bucks an hour, but only 5-6 hours a week. Still...money is money and money's all I need.

Oh yeah. Did I mention I'm an internet cartoonist? And not a very good one at that.

In my free time, a mod here.

For work, I work part time at a local JC Penneys. The people who work there are great, but the job itself sucks...especially with managers breathing down our necks every 5 seconds about credit card applications.

I am a college student majoring in Film/Video with a concentration in Computer Animation. Mouthful, huh? It is a fun majors full of geeks like myself, but there is one thing I do not like about it...I have to take some regular film courses. The Idea Developement and History of Cinema were good classes, but it is Production I I do not like that much. It is just hard for me to direct. Ask Psy about that when I did a project featuring her and how I was a stressed out wreck with it.

I repair computers, install hardware into them, fix problems in Windows, etc.; in exchange for my services, I get wads of cash. You could call it a job...

Culinary school rocks the party. Most college students are eating pizza crumbs off the floor, and I had a recent problem where I had TWO steaks, a sirloin and a filet mignon, and I couldn't possibly eat both... so i fed the filet mignon to my dog. Of course, my baking teacher was a jerk and needed to die, and the workload in my english class was overwhelming... the teacher also had had one too many facelifts. anyhow, i am also a professional slacker, so i don't have a real job. who needs one when you are living in your parent's basement, lol. kill me now.

I sleep.
*blinks*
When I'm not sleeping, I'm thinking about going back to sleep, but school and random other little tasks prevent me from doing so. But after those things are taken care of, I go back to sleep.
^_____^
Anyone wanna help me find a job? No one's freakin' hiring out here! >< Hey, Rune, are they hiring at JC Penny's? I'm desperate!!!!!!!
Maybe I'll babysit again.
*blinks again*
Sorry, babbling to myself. I'll go now.

I work in a nightclub at weekends, collecting dirty glasses, lifting crates of alcohol about, putting kegs of beer onto the pumps, the usual dogsbody crap. And seeing as im the senior Glass Collector at the place, i also get the delightful job of cleaning up and vomit, blood, bodily fluids that may have been spilt on the floor. Not very nice, drunken clubbers can be rather messy.

Funny story, while playing PSO back in the version 1 days i was talking to a chinese player about working in a nightclub, and they got it into their head that i was a stripper! It took me ages to explain that its not that sort of club.

I'm a part-time student and a lab aide at a college library.

As a lab aide I get to tell people how to double space, set margins, add page numbers, find files on a disk and a number of other computer related troubles. Mostly "how to do" questions. Most of the time it's the same people asking the same question that I helped them with the previous day.

We don't have very many smart people going to this college. :/

Full time student, freshman in high school. I am on the track team, second best distance running freshman (I run the mile and the 2-mile), my times however are nothing special, mile-5:39, 2-mile 12:07. I used to be on the cross-country team but that was in the first semester, back then I sucked hard. In a 3-mile race my best time was a 21:03.

Oh the joys of temp work. One day your working in the file rooms for big company, the next your sitting at home waiting for them to give you a new job. Forced unpaid vacation.
