Pudding Freezes Game

Granted, I've no need to use the NPC yet I don't think, but the extreme quest npc pudding gives me an odd error. It zooms in as if i'm going to talk to her, then simply stays zoomed in, no options appearing. But chats will still appear in text bubbles around me, and such-- I simply can't get out of that non-existent conversation. The Exit Game prompt also appears if I goto close window.

File check usually fixes problems like this. Also, are you using the old method story patch?

I already did this. The filecheck, that is.

And uh.. I did old one with the august thingy from the arks-layer site, then I did the new one to update it. Did I mess that up?

Using the RAR version/old method of the Story Patch has been know to cause various issues. Restore to vanilla, then just use the new method; it might fix the problem.
