CRASHES AFTER FIRST CUTSCENES

Somebody please help me. i've been trying to get this game to work all day long. i've been able to log in, create my character, and even get all the way to the first cutscenes. after the cutscene where the blonde dude says "hey, we're still new to combat. wanna go over the basics again?" then the screen fades to black, and it loads for a sec, then right before the world loads it gives me the "pso2.exe has stopped working and needed to close" error message. and it closes.

running windows 7
Intel(R) Core (TM)2 Duo CPU T7300 @ 2.00GHz 2.00 GHz
2.00 GB memory
NVIDIA QUADRO NVS 135M

Its all i got. i've turned down all the graphics and everything, video even runs smooth, but why does it crash at this point? how can i fix it? please help!!!!!!

Have you tried checking for Old/Missing files? Even with a fresh install, sometimes the game may have corrupt files that need to be redownloaded.

Try just having the standard English patch installed; no Large, no Story. You can always go back and see the story cutscenes once you can get access to your MyRoom.
