XBOX: Who has the K/B Adaptor?

i was juat wondering if anybody has the USB keyboard adaptor yet? is it worth the 6.95 shipping and handling? any keyboard compatibility issues? thx.

i just got mine yesterday, and its different then useing the dc keyboard. you can't use it in the menus. And on my keyboard all the special characters ( i.e. = &^*(^$ ) are one keyover then they are marked...but other thenthat its sooooooooooo much better then the voice chat.

i like using the voice chat. it can be confusing though when ppl dont talk properly. i was thinkin of getting the adaptor just for shits so i could have one. what keyboard are u using there? i was thinking of using my generic usb sharkboard lol.

see the thing abut voice chat is that it doesn't always work. Me and my friend were in a game and i couldn't talk to him, i had to tell the other person to tell them something..and no we didn't have each other banned. we check 7 times. And we couldn't talk to each other the entire day. and im useing the ps2 keyboard made by detal i think. heh

I just ordered mine today, but my friend ordered one, and he says its great!! Yes its a little different than the gamecube keyboard, but anyone who knows how to use a computer keyboard shouldnt have a problem! lol, o well, i will be hooked up and online on the XBOX in T-minus 72 hours. It works great with Xbox Linux.

Eihter you or your Friend need to open the ports on your Router. 53,88 and 3074 I beleive. Chekc out the faq on xbox.com
