Sorry, but I felt that this quote is very appropriate to these constant "which class/character is better threads". I personally don't feel that any one character is necessarily "better" than the others. The best character is one that you enjoy playing, based upon your own personal preferences, style of play, etc.

Now, if you're just starting out and can't decide whether to be a Ramar or Hucast, test them both out to see which one you like better. A Ranger is probably a better choice for a newbie as you can pick of multiple enemies (with a spread gun) and still keep a safe distance. However, if you tried the Hucast and liked it better, by all means, pick the Hucast.
