Yeah, what are they supposed to protect us from? :3 I'm talking about the freaking password we tie to our serial number and access key. What the heck?

That password prevents me from guessing your serial number & key & logging on with your account.

The Gamecube Version isn't like the Dreamcast Version where your serial number and access key are stored on the memory chip internally. Therefore if you were to steal my copy of PSO, you wouldn't be able to go online without the Password.

You can change the option so you have to reenter the PW every time you want to log on.
