How can I access online quests without another copy of the game?

Now that Online is gone, I was wondering if it's possible to play the online quests and the like without having a second game and DS. I've tried looking around and I haven't found anything. Please let me know if there's a way. Thank you.

If you have an AR cart then Google altwfc and you can play on the private server.
