PSO2 Breaks windows 7

I start PSO2 from the Tweaker with Fullscreen mode.
Occasionally after a while of gameplay, windows 7 will cease to function.
I can still play PSO2 and exit it but other programs cannot be opened. (If they were already open but minimized you can still use them). After exiting PSO2 I cant even start Task Manager or shut down my PC, leading to force shutdown.
Does anyone else have this problem? I'm using all english patches and have run through all the troubleshooting options on the tweaker.

I have that problem randomly, ever since I upgraded to Windows 7. Never had that problem in Windows XP.
Basically, no new programs will boot/startup. Double clicking program icons on desktop does nothing. The only option is to reboot.
I still haven't isolated the cause. It seems completely random, and rare.

Can't even find any similar complaints on the internet. This is the first time I've seen someone else mention it.
You're sure it's PSO2 related? I never thought it might be PSO2 that was causing it. Figures.

It's Gameguard related. I've noticed it happen more frequently when there is a pending Widows Update, but that may be coincidental.

Thanks. It's been bugging me for years.
I thought there was some kind of fundamental install issue or virus.
Figures it's just Gameguard being Gameguard.
