New BW3 Gryphon Gels farming trick (!)

So I was told people don't think its efficient or aren't willing to try it, but earlier today around the 0:25 minute market someone started doing it and we got 4 Nyau spawns in about 10 minutes before everyone ran out of points.

Anyway, get 6-15 Nyau in an hour!

go with normal route, collect 300 points, go from d-4 to f-4 and e-2.
1ppl WITHOUT party open telepipe in e-2 and go to campship
11ppl (3 party 4-4-3) clear sectors e2-e4, d-4, f4-f3, need get 720 point asap.
after 720 points they are stay in E-3.
Summoner jump to e-2 and run to d-4 and f-4. if no Gryphon, summoner go to campship in F-4
11ppl clear respawns and go back to e-3
summoner jump to f-4 and go to e-2 and d-2. if no Gryphon, summoner go to campship in d-2
11ppl clear respawns and go back to e-3

Restart quest in the last 28 minutes

for 1 hour 10-15 nya spawns
yes we are dont have 150% boost for rare enemy and drop, but farm still possible

1ppl stay on camship, after clear this one 1 ppl from camship jum in the F-4
if nya - kill . if not gryphone 1ppl go to campship and wait
11ppl clear rout
repeat

In the MPA I was in, the guy hopping in/out of the campship told us to go all the way back to B3...? and he did that during one of our Nyau spawns.

We got a Gal and then a Gel from two Nyau spawns back to back.

Some Nyaus appeared after I was already 720/720 cause someone still had points left and was probably hiding on campship or something, I'm not sure what they did but he kept managing to spawn them at E2 or so.

Until it was at the 25 minute mark, I kept campshipping and restarting the quest if Nyau didn't spawn Gal by the time we got to E2, because at that point (Assuming everyone was farming through the map until then), he won't appear unless someone's doing the farming trick.

So we farmed up to F4, and got the Nyau that usually appears there. He spawned a chrome dragon, so I started going to E2 while they killed it.

I cleared the enemies from F4-E2, and while they rest of the MPA started to go to E2, I went back to F4 and a 2nd Nyau appeared instantly and spawned Gal.

So we killed it, then all started going back to E2. Actually, after clearing monsters in the square between those, I went straight back to F4 and spawned another Nyau with another Gal.




So yeah.

edit: And it seems you really have to kill all the enemies before you go back to F4 or E2 or it won't matter.[/spoiler-box]

Some people just want to smash things (I did that too) .... without caring for drops (letting out steam after a stressful day and the likes). It's more fun with 12players on map because more mobs will spawn too.

imo, for specific way of running EQ, better do some appointment with people who have same intention :o I personally don't mind running things lke Gryphon farm (I'll fill the google docs if I want to do one), other than that, I run EQ the way Sakai intended to do, it is a way of enjoying the game too.

Anyway, there was one other EQ where everyone figured out how to abuse the map and started going in a specific loop ... like a year ago. Either Wind & Rain or some Quarry EQ (halloween?)

If people want to run the quest normally, I don't see why they can't at least stay on the east half of the map and do a loop there. There's more Nyau spawn points there, and also less time wasting Blu Ringahda spawns.

Granted, I can force them to do it, since nothing will spawn on the west side as long I'm triggering the east spawns, but I don't enjoy annoying people. Though at the same time, nobody actually seems to be doing griffon farming on ship 6.

Yeah there's nothing stopping you from going to the campship when you get 720 and starting a new one, even if people stay to farm.

I don't understand why you would do such a thing in a PUG of all things. It actually pisses me off to see people running straight to the east side instead of clearing the run normally, since it makes the run take longer, losing that potential 4th run for extra badges.

imo you should be more pissed off that you didn't farm more when the LQs were here. I only managed to get a 30% 13* and I kinda regret that.

Also, even if they run straight to the east, they kill along the way, which more or less does not lead to any down time, because regardless of what direction you go, you are running into enemy spawns / Etrial spawns...


And gal rares are better than xie's rares.

I think this is catching on. I joined a MPA with randoms and everyone started doing this. Well mostly. I think in about a week everyone will be doing it. First time in an MPA doing it and got 6 nyau. Mostly shit but did spawn 1 Gryphon Gel, and to my delight it gave me a delicious 13* bow. That's me got 2 of his weapons.
