windows 10 + switching to japanese IME = freeze for few minutes

Nah, not fixed for me. Although it freezes about 2-3 seconds for me every now and then when I'm not on PSO2. When I am on PSO2 it usually crashes the game. _(:3 It started happening a few days ago too which is odd.

i downloaded google ime and so far so good - it seems like it happens when i don't use the ime before launching the game since windows startup

after 5 days of playing with google IME i never froze again so i can consider it fixing my problem
