Help DOA Xtreme 3 come to the west!

Unfortunatly because of feminazis and SJW's (Social Justice Warriors) we might not get this game to come to the west -_- here is a quote from the ppl petitioning against these SJW

The "moral backslash" blah blah blah is just an excuse, they are just saving on publishing a game that provably sold poorly in its previous entries, and if it was released in the past at all is because Microsoft had it as an exclusivity and it would have been stupid of them not publishing it.

I have both DOAX on xbox and 360, and if I ever have a PS4 I will be importing the Asian release, unless they announce a PC release before that happens. What this petition will accomplish at most is a digital only release.

Best chance is to ask the third party studio guy in Sony, Gio Corsi, it's thanks to twitts sent to him that Shenmue 3 and Yakuza 5 localization are happening.

Well well, seems I'm lucky to live in SEAsia. Gonna grab the R3 Vita release from the game store without having to pre-order anything. Lucky me~

I kind of wish I cared more about this game, though. I've had issues with this one well before this controversy of a non-release came out. For one, the roster. They already basically cut a good number of characters from the game with no vote offered to the west, in the first place. Based on eastern-only polls, they removed a number of favorites for the game. A sign, from the beginning, that they had less western intentions. Second, Xtreme 2 was a little bit of a turn off in the volleyball department as I thought it was quite a step down from the first one. Especially, in part to how (once you got the play engine down) there were greatly different techniques with which to play each character to their strengths. The 2nd one was too simplified for my tastes. But it did at least have a jet ski thing. It was no wave race, but it was there.

Still, Nothing to take away from the audience of this game, and hopefully the direction of the gameplay takes a step up here. I'm still quite miffed about the character roster. And enough to actually take away some interest in it.

I got bored playing DOA Paradise due to less mini games/lesser graphics. Never played the ones on console so I'm excited for this one.

I also preferred the volleyball on the first one, but the major problem in the second one was... lack of local vs mode??? the first one was a fun game to play with friends! I never updated the game thou, maybe they added it post launch (I used the casino cheat to get me lotsa moneys for swimsuits lol). Waterside was the best minigame imo, specially if the girl "died" by failing it lol (yeah... some of them are ninja.. and survive the fall from a building in the fighting games... but a normal person would die from that fall lol)

What characters got removed? I don't get it, why not use all of them?? in fact I was actually thinking why can't they try to make the game more "politically correct" by just letting it have all the male and female rooster, I do know I would laugh hard if I saw Jan Lee and Zack chasing each other at the beach LOL

As for characters cut from the roster. Here's two links. One for the actual character roster, again only voted by one single territory. The other where Itagaki speaks on it, and I have to agree. Especially when some of my favorites aren't all Asian. And yes, you read that right. Only Japan was ever considered in picking 9 out of the roster so you can tell they hardly cared to release it west, from the very beginning. So if there was an SJW decision to be considered, it would've had to have happened from before the game was even fully in development. And that's why I feel the SJW reason is totally bogus and just there to stir up controversy. Alas, I even told that to AlphaOmegaSin before he made that video, but lo he wouldn't listen to me and I know he wasn't following DOAX news as long as I have. He may pretend he was a fan and cared all along, but his total ignorance on the issues the game had before this somehow astounds me given the voice he wants to harp. Sure, it's find to be ignorant of those issues, but I'd do more research before making a video like his. Still, he is one to jump right into issues like these, prematurely, as he tends to do as fast as he could. Especially if it gives him another chance to yell at the crowd he tends to have issues with.

I tend to come from the idea that he better do his due research or he'll become like the enemy he's obsessed with. A member of a group who stirs controversy where one of their sins is lack of research.

They cut Lei Fang (my favorite volleyball partner and my first main in the DOA series.
They also cut, Christie, Tina, Lisa (you know, the character that was introduced in the whole DOAX series, and the only exotic dark-skinned character in the game). What were they thinking? Two of these cut were regulars since the original DOA 1 roster. Also, Hitomi and Helena barely made it in.

And I can't agree more with Itagaki regarding Marie Rose, she is even a crappy fighter in DOA5, I can't imagine a Systema practitioner moving like her lol and the other new girl... they didn't even care to use a real martial art... (and I will guess the tengu girl has the same move set as Bankotsubo... I've actually never used her).

Not to mention, she was (by far) the best AI receiver of the lot. The main one I could really count on returning hits from the other team. She wasn't much of an attacker, but she had fantastic stability and recovery when she returned. Plus, Lei Fang and Hitomi were MY team, and my two highest picks in the DOA series. It's like they broke up a good thing.

Just to make sure we're clear here: PSOW is a safe space. We don't tolerate behavior that's meant to ostracize people, especially those who are already given unequal treatment within places such as the gaming community. Complaining about feminists or SJWs? Not acceptable.

If this were a thread about how much people love the Dead or Alive games or a mature discussion about the way sexuality is portrayed in games, it would be fine. It was neither of those things. Turning it into a bash fest while using terms popularized by a literal hate group in an attempt to mock marginalized groups? Not okay.

You can disagree with people who want a larger focus on social issues or who dislike content based on problematic content, but they have every right to be here. If you want all your games to be full of nearly-naked porcelain doll ladies playing volleyball, you're also welcome (though that is a weirdly specific thing to want for all of your games. Maybe try playing a puzzle game or something?)

(ALSO: if you're going to try to latch onto such an obviously false story like the one about DOAX3 being blocked by "the SJWs" [insert spooky ghost sounds here], maybe spend the five minutes it takes to confirm that the reason it isn't being published in the US is because nobody actually cares about the game enough to buy it, much less complain about its weird attempts at sexuality?)

If you want to keep complaining about feminists (read: people who want women to be portrayed the same as men) or "SJWs" (read: people who think things maybe shouldn't be so sexist/racist/etc.), you've got two options:

1.) Wise up and stop complaining about people trying to drag popular video games into the 21st century. Accept that maybe, just maybe, the fact that people want better representation in games doesn't somehow mean you're going to lose your sexy anime games, it just means that maybe there will be more games for other people. Deal with the fact that it's possible some games you love have problematic content (and that it's still possible to enjoy the game while also acknowledging its problems).

2.) Wait an hour and then try to do the above again.
