Unpairing PSN account?

I wanna get a vita again, but I don't want to be limited to the japanese region.

My plan is to buy a vita and get the physical copy of PSO2 for Vita and pair my main PSN (NA) account with it. Has anyone had any luck doing this, if so, what steps did you take?

The only method is to contact Sega with the account and the PSN ID pairing and reasoning on why you want to have the pairing removed.
